I stopped by Crazy Horse Consignment on my way back to Missoula to find cowboy boots and a hat. When I say Johanna provided 5 star service, it is an understatement. She cleaned my hat, took off the old hat band, put a new one on, punched new holes in a belt I wanted, and polished and buffed my boots. She never tried to push me to buy more (it wouldn’t have been hard to do because her selection was so amazing) and the pricing was fair. Thank you so much Johanna!! You made my last few hours in Montana so memorable and I’m so happy I found your shop. I definitely will be coming back the next time I am in town!!!

It's such a fun store to check out, even if ypu aren't into riding. But if you are they have great prices on saddles tack and all things western wear. Hats, boots and clothes are all in good condition besides if you are trying to blend in with us Montana peeps then maybe show up with some already worn in, just right, 👖 and 👢 😉😄 They have cute jewelry, scraves and all kinds of gift ideas. Downstairs is some one of a kind painted furniture and some antiques. Prices are pretty good on stuff too you should check it out.

Johanna is a thief. I've had consigned items disappear without a trace back when I was consigning with this store. I have several friends who had the same thing happen, or extremely valuable items be sold after a very short time period for a fraction of their worth. Last summer, Johanna came to my yard sale and was interested in a bunch of tack. Some of it was mine, most of it was tack I was selling for family and friends. She trashed my bins and set up digging through, until I had to ask her to go a little more lightly on my stuff. That didn't go over well. After that, I gave her the prices for the items she was asking about, and she attacked me about how I didn't know what I was doing, everything was way over priced, and she was the "tack expert," so I needed to listen to the values she told me and sell for what she would be willing to pay. When I politely declined, she continued with some shocking verbal abuse, and I eventually asked her to leave. She wouldn't leave, I think she actually wanted to fight me, if she thought she could get away with it. I was running my yardsale with a friend on a property adjoining the one she rents, she threw a temper tantrum worthy of a two year old, and told my friends that I needed to leave "her property" immediately. My friends and I have been friends for long enough, they laughed it off... but who does that? Incidentally, I sold my tack within a month or so, for the prices I was asking there, so, either the "tack expert" doesn't know what she's talking about, or she was trying to schmooze me into selling way low so she could resell in her tack shop.

Great place, friendly. Western wear of all styles, from fancy to daily wear. Hats and jewelry. Tack of all kinds, saddles Western/ English. Some nice furniture and even a little bit of men's hunting clothes. Definitely a Must See store.

I was able to find a matching stetson hat and show chaps for a very reasonable price!! They have alot of saddles and just about everything that you might need for you and your horse/mule!!@

Cool place, cool stuff, good prices. Unfortunately, this place doesn’t believe in wearing a mask. The staff scoffed at us for doing so (and we just journeyed from NY state!). This is a highly traveled area during summer months from visitors far and near. This business gets an F for having zero concern for public well being and an F- for lack of competence on this matter, and causing discomfort towards patrons who do have concern who choose to wear a mask. They don’t seem to get it. AT ALL.

This place is a treasure trove of gently used and carefully selected clothes with a western flair. Including all manner of hats, boots,, purses and outerwear. Additionally there is a huge selection of Western and English saddles, tack and English riding and show apparel. The owner helped us repair a headstall and I found a beautiful cashmere blend sweater for song.

Amazing place I try to bring everyone I know in there because not alot of people know about the place. Beautiful clothing at great prices. Only down fall was owners daughter treated me like I was going to steal something and bluntly made it known thats was what she was doing, made me feel very uncomfortable and upset if it weren't such a great shop I would not return because know one should be treated like that or have to feel uncomfortable.
