This Ace is always my first stop for a project because of the incredibly knowledgeable and friendly people who work here! They have taught me a lot and have been instrumental in a wide variety of projects (from plumbing to getting a light to stop flickering). Love this store!

They have everything at great prices. They do things all the time to appreciate their customers. Everyone is knowledgeable, friendly, and eager to assist. Idk if they still have popcorn for customers or not but they used to! Also, I've never used the service but a little birdie told me they loan out tools, too........

We went in looking for an adapter for my kitchen sink to connect a fish tank water changing system to. Shannon was very helpful and knowledgeable and he was able to find the correct size adapter after a quick look at our faucet. It fits perfectly and we finally have a way to do easy water changes thanks to him! Definitely reccomend ace to anyone looking for anything as the staff is always so helpful and patient!

I've been to this store on numerous occasions for a variety of things. From Tools, Plumbing supplies, to Gardening supplies . Great little local Ace in Livingston. Friendly staff, not a lot of turnover, and usually are very helpful when you hail them down. Sometimes the Garden Center is out of basic needs but overall Ace is truly the Place. Chad the GM is very helpful as well when you need an order or something high-level rectified.

With so many hardware stores in our little town, sometimes you can find what you need cheaper (but usually similar priced or even more expensive) at Kenyon Noble, True Value, or even Riverside. What I like about ACE is the ease of finding what I want online to see if it's in stock before I drive down to the store. I realize the other stores also have ways to check and see if what I need is in stock; However, ACE's website is super easy to use, the items that it says are in stock are really in stock, if they don't have it here they will get it from Bozeman, Billings, or a distribution center usually the next day. The loyalty points add up pretty quick for our household. The best part is the knowledgeable and readily available employees on hand to help me, from the warm welcome as I walk in to the person who eventually helps me after I declined their initial help bc I am a middle aged man so I tend to think I know more than I do. Returns are easy, the store is clean and organized.... I can't think of anything I don't like about the store- maybe that they don't have the tool selection and lumber yard of Kenyon Noble, they don't carry my furnace filter like True Value, or they aren't within walking distance like Riverside? Still the best hardware store in Livingston.

I was having a hard time operating a snow blower that I purchased last year. My mom went to Ace and explained what was happening.They followed her home and showed both of us how to safely operate it.Ace Hardware Rocks and I wouldn’t go anywhere else.

Clayton is the nicest associate in Ace because he doesn't point or give the aisle number to help you find something. He brings you to the item and if there's another style of the same thing in a separate area he will walk you there ans explain the differences. Some of the other associates are way below the mark in comparison.

Shannon and the entire gang at ACE are super knowledgeable and helpful. Often coming up with ideas to helpale your project work right the 1st time! I have ally keysade here, including alarm button keys for my truck. The store is always clean and we'll organized. I highly recommend you get your furnace filters, paint, pet supplies, camping and grilling gear and all your cleaning supplies from ACE!!!
