Kootenai Pets for Life is awesome. Love the staff, they are all volunteers and and passionate about the work they do! They made it possible for me to get my kittens fixed because the vet in Bonners wanted over 100 more to fix them a piece. So thankful for this place and will be donating in the future to this wonderful organization.

I can’t say enough about this shelter and the volunteers that keep it afloat.My dog passed and I missed her so much that I couldn’t shake it- I reached out to KPFL to volunteer - it seemed to make sense to help other dogs if I couldn’t have mine anymore. I started that day walking the dogs.The staff kept thanking me, and all I could think is how grateful I was for them and the work they do.It stuck. I became a board member and although I travel and am remote from the position they hear my ideas with thoughtfulness and a “how can we make that work” to benefit the shelter.They TRULY care about the quality of the animal’s life and honor them where they are.This place is a blessing for me and a blessing for the state of Montana.

I got to have a tour of the cat area. Many hiding spots for the cats just waiting for a new home. The volunteers were wonderful and take excellent care of these animals. Please donate what ever you can. It is money and time well spent.

Very efficient spays. My 2 girls were treated well and are happy. Fair costs for immunizations, procedures, and adoptions. The animals seeking homes are treated very well & get lots of love & attention.

Helpful staff I needed shots for my dogs didn't get them because I'm from out of town and shots take 2 weeks and the vet wasn't in

Busy place and thankful for what they do. My kitten needs to be fixed and a hernia repair and they are going to do it for a very reasonable price. I love my cat so thankful.

Refused to help! Said they did Not want sick kittens ( upper respiratory) infection there shelter any way!Woman was very cold uncaring! She's kept repeating herself to me when I had desperately tried explaining I was getting no`s from the local shelter here! I heard her the first time!If she couldn't help then I simply asked for the medicine to give to them ! I explained to her my husband was dying of cancer and I was in the process of loosing every thing!I my self ran a rescue for almost 30 years with my own money and the help from our local shelter and veterinarians. Never did I think a rescue or rescues & veterinarians could be so callous & cold!

KPFL does everything in their power to help the lost and abandoned animals of Lincoln county and surrounding counties. They have one of the very best spay/ neuter programs of anywhere around and Dr. Disney is busy with surgeries and a full schedule EVERY single week. The other vets in Libby are either no longer doing spays and neuters or extremely limited, which puts a huge load on KPFL and their resources. They will not ever turn anyone away and are very passionate about what they do. I hope the community can appreciate that KPFL is and ALWAYS has been on every level an all volunteer group. I no longer live in Libby but am so proud to have been a part of such an incredible organization and will always help them in any way I can. Keep up the great work , KPFL, and thank you for what you do for the human and animal members of Lincoln County!!!
