Convenient parking.Free Little Library outside the door with some free books.Upon entry, you may get greeted by the resident dog, who was very docile and calm.The bookstore itself, can be overwhelming. There are books EVERYWHERE; on shelves, in carts, on the floor, in boxes. If you have OCD, do not enter; the disorganization is crazy.As for pricing I did not see signs posted. The few books I picked up didn't have the usual price written on inside cover.If you are a fan of Western books, this may be your go to place. I did notice a huge selection.Overall, if you like to poke around in these kinds of stores and search for that obscure book, you may find it here.If you deem this review helpful, I would love a 👍

My go to store for any type if titles. A few dollars will get you lots of wonderful used, clean! books. Hardback or paperback! Love this little place! Such nice people...Jim is so great! Go!! You'll love it!!.

I've been here a few times. I always find something good to take home with me. 8 books for $35 is a win for me. Great staff always helpful and bonus are the cute dogs running around.

I can’t say enough good about this place. As a book lover I could spend hours there finding all kinds of treasurers. In my professional life I run the local Detention facility where for over 15 years Jim has been donating books to out inmate library. Words can’t express how grateful we are for his generosity. Stop… Visit…. But a book or two :)

Our home burned to the ground a year ago. We lost everything we owned. I personally had many collections ,all the Louis lamore,din coldsmith, and about 6 other collections not western and all my cook books. I went in to get a few books while we were still in the motel so I had something to read. I took my books up to the desk to pay and was told no charge. This man Jim has heart and his store is fantastic. He and my husband were friends before I married and we have been friends for about 20 years. Thank you my friend. Just having something familiar I had before is a comfort

Such an awesome shop! The owner and his pup Jackie were so sweet and inviting. My husband and I are big science and liquor needs and we both found awesome books. He found The Drunken Botanist and I found Flight of the Iguana as well as a 1913 book on western hemisphere mammals. Awesome selection of books and great service. We'll be back again!

All these amazing reviews and I am so sad to be giving a poor review.I had never been in there before and was so excited to have finally been able to stop in.I asked for a specific genre and she said “I have no idea. If ‘the man’ was here he’d tell you exaclty where to look. But if I were to guess, they’d be over here” and showed me.I found a handful of books and magazines I was interested in. There is no pricing listed anywhere visible so I ask the gal at the counter to let me know the prices… she found her prices on Amazon (3 books and a stack of magazines from 2016 = $180)…. they were quite bit more than I expected so I told her that and needed to think about it… went and put them away and browsed some more.I was also looking for a specific book and asked her about it. She said she wasn’t familiar with it and was pretty certain she didn’t have it. Didn’t offer to point me in the right direction of where I could look.So I browsed a little more.As I was finishing up my browsing and getting ready to leave the gal who helped me check the prices, not knowing I was still in the store and just around the corner, mocked me to another gal (an employee?) for being surprised at the prices.Sure. I was surprised as I don’t know anything about used books, but those prices had my jaw dropping in my head.I was also gracious, put the books away, didn’t make a big deal about it and was willing to look around and maybe find other books that were more in my price range, still considering one of the $30 books she had priced.I came around the corner, said “thank you” and left. I was so hurt and embarrassed that someone who works for a “mom n pop” shop would treat anyone so poorly.

Phenomenal book store!If you compare it to an online store, you might be part of the problem and the reason why most book stores are gone.Jim is extremely forthcoming that his pricing is tailored to the customer. If you found the pricing too high, you might want to reflect upon who you are as a person and how you behaved rather than his prices! If you ask nicely, he might even have a book or two to help you along that journey 😉

This place is amazing! Most of the books look as if they are brand new and the ones that don't are still in very good condition. They are all sold at such a good price and every time I go in there I leave with armfuls of books! I would give more stars if I could. :)

What a great little used book store. They were really welcoming inside and their prices were very reasonable. There are so many books crammed in the building that it can be a little bit tight but the positive to that is there are over 50,000 books in the store and bound to be something for you.

This store is fantastic if you're a book junkie. Walking in it looks like there's no rhyme or reason to the store, it is truly organized chaos and I loved it! Found some excellent books at a steal.

Books, books, books! They have all genres and all ages. We stopped in Kalispell to go to Glacier and found this wonderful store. We stopped in for 45 minutes and walked out with a literal box of books (34 books). Great prices. It was like a treasure hunt.

All sorts of new and old books. Computer section should be relabled "Computer History." Prices here trend downwards precipitously if you share your firearms with the man behind the counter, as long as you do it tastefully and respectfully.

I adore this place. It's quaint and cozy some may find it too packed and unorganized. But when you ask for a specific book they know where it is. They had a lovely sweet dog in there and I just couldn't love this place more. My favorite used book store in kalispell. It's so rustic and full of personality.

Nicest people ever with all kinds of fabulous deals and fun finds. My 10 year old was absolutely in heaven and said "this is the best place ever" she loved the smell of old books and the toe tapping country music quietly be playing in the background

Love this little gem! Jim has book sections for any type of book lover. Love the atmosphere and essence of seeking out treasures for yourself. If you enjoy books this is a perfect spot to visit!

Our server from brunch, Jack, highly recommended this used bookstore for our meandering. It’s old, stacked and has bounds of treasures to be discovered! I found a book the last moments I was in the store which I’ve been wanting for years! Thanks for the experience🤓
