My wife was wanting PrimeRib steak as we were heading down the highway, I seen their sign that said Prime Rib special so I said how about this. We have never been here before and pulled in and were very surprised, this place is great nice atmosphere very good service and damn good food. We ate indoors but next time we will eat on their patio overlooking the Yellowstone river. Its much quieter out there as it doesn't hold sound like indoors. We will come back to this place.

Put in an order for take out asked for the blue cheese on the side they put it on my steak. With the steak you get two side I only got one and for 61 dollars not worth it.

I wish I knew our waiter's name because she was one of the best we've ever had. She spoke clearly and loudly, had a wonderful smile, was just the right amount of attentive - she's a real credit to the establishment. Everyone loved their food, I had the clam chowder and the house salad, it was delicious, perfectly prepared, and fresh.

Really dropping the ball tonight. Went in and grabbed a table. Menus were brought over and that was basically it. Never did come back over. Tables that came in after us were getting their orders in. We gave it another 15 minutes then walk out.

Food was good. Priced accordingly for the area. Service was meidorce at best. Only 1 girl working the bar and restaurant.. still was basically dead, and it took her over 5min to approach our table after we sat down. Maybe an off day for her? She def didn't seem to care. Not sure of that's the atmosphere there or not. Just don't expect anything to be done in a reasonable amount of time. Otherwise everything was good. If not for the slow service would have given 5 stars.

Great food! Friendly waitresses. Casual, warm Montana ambiance! We will definitely be going back!!! The burger had half a pound of hamburger and half a pound of beef brisket. Huge! We were advised by our friends how big it was, so we shared it! (Wise choice!) Adding a combination of their two barbecue sauces- "Cowgirl" (aka sweet & mild) with "Cowboy" (aka hot & tangy) was the icing on the cake of a delicious sandwich!! I'm looking forward to trying their prime rib.. and also their brisket sandwich. My mouth is watering just thinking about it.Multiple choices of types of fries make for endless combinations.And my daughter opted to gave a piece of cheesecake .. to go! I didn't get a taste but it sure looked good .. and the portion was generous!Highly recommend!

Too many flies inside, not enough help, appetizers were yucky and my food was obviously microwaved. I ordered the bbq pulled pork and accordingto the menu should have been made that day, fresh and tender. It was SOOO dry, chewey, nasty!!! I didnt eat it. The waitress was wonderful and took it off the ticket. From what I've heard locally...the owner is a complete a..hole. He needs Gorden Ramsy if he wants to continue making this place work.

We love Cowboys because it is our local restaurant. Tonight was delicious, but some nights are a struggle. Like all restaurants help is a difficulty. Our staff was "right on" and I hear we have a new chef. VERY good tonight! I LOVE the nachos.Parking: Plentiful.Wheelchair accessibility: Front door and sitting are no problem and I think restrooms are also accessible.

Always the best cooked steaks and mashed potatoes with gravy! The cook, who's name i learned was Jen, did an amazing job and we'll keep coming back!Kid-friendliness: Montana homely atmosphere. Took the kids here and they loved it.

What started out to be a first time, excellent experience, turned a little bit sour later.Simply stated that if you go there for an evening meal, make sure that it is not during your server's lunch break. It's quite possible she will be more interested in her own intake, than to your dining experience. Not to mention that a broken fingernail, (literally), will take her away from her duties for a period of time. Then add to this the unaware defensiveness of the bartender in apparent support of the server's lack of customer attention. Who is the paying customer here?

We were there on a beautiful late summer evening very near the banks of the Yellowstone River. This is in Huntley, about 15 minutes from the Billings Heights. When you think of a small town gem close to a bigger city this is where you go. The clientele was very diverse. Ranchers, locals, city dwellers from Billings make up the mix. I had an 8 Oz. Sirloin steak and 4 prawns and my partner had coconut shrimp. With your entre and 2 sides a plateful arrives. My prawns were outstanding. I ordered my steak medium rare and it came medium but it was still delicious. My date reported her prawns were wonderful. Bottom line if you've never been here (like me) I highly recommend it. The service was top notch and a high end dinner for two with tip and cocktails under $100 dollars is more than reasonable. A quality experience.
