When you go to Montana, everyone says you need to try huckleberries. This is the place to do it as they have an entire store and restaurant dedicated to them. They have jellies, jams, jerky, candies, milkshakes, and anything else you may need.We all tried the milkshakes which were very flavorful and sweet. The first time I came here the pie was exceptional when I came a few years ago, but it definitely tasted more artificial this time around. Still worth the try.Definitely worth stopping in.

Nice little gift shop and cafe. Bought a T-shirt, hoodie and hiking staff medallion. We ate in the cafe, pictures are of a cheddar elk burger with onion rings. On the side a slice of huckleberry pie with vanilla ice cream. The pie filling was good the pie crust was tough and chewy, too much Crisco/lard and the crust was worked to much. Otherwise pretty darn good.

Aug 5th, 2023: The place has a souvenir store and an eatery. The food isn't bad. A little dry, but with ketchup tasted good.Need a few more staff to clear tables. Please do note that the huckleberry ice cream has actual pieces of huckleberry in it.So if you order some or a milkshake, and you are a fan of chunks of food, then you're in for a treat, however if chunks of fruit in your ice cream doesn't excite you, then stay clear of the huckleberry ice cream. There is the occasional fly that may visit your table, that's a little expected in the environment.Otherwise a decent quaint place.

After a long weekend in Glacier National Park, this was the perfect treat as we hit the road. Strongly recommend the drive out of the park to get good "regular priced" food. Their sign states they speak Huckleberry... very very true. Hands down one of the best milkshakes I've ever had. No matter why you are passing by... this deserves a stop. The huckleberry milkshake is to die for. Made fresh with their homemade ice cream and their huckleberry jam. We also had their patch burger which was a good choice. Other crowd favorites ate their ice cream, pie, and turnovers. Whether it is homemade food, souvenirs, keepsakes, etc. They've got you covered.

This milkshake was definitely worth the wait! Smoothly blended and incredibly delicious, with lots of small huckleberries in it. It was a rare treat. The staff was friendly and very helpful with the shopping. My only complaint is that it’s hard to tell when the grill is going to be open. I wanted to try an elk burger. We went at 4pm yesterday and the grill was closed…came back at 7 pm today and they said the grill closes at 6. I was disappointed not to get to try an elk burger, but the shakes and the shopping were fantastic.

Always great service and prices. Whenever you're driving down US 2 they're in Hungry Horse stop by to visit these people at Huckleberry PatchThe couple of times I've been back to Montana the last few years I always stop to get my Huckleberry fix hereI personally don't have plans to return to their part of Montana anytime soon, but that's okay because they ship directly to you.Thank you for the professional quick and courteous customer service. Always good to know I can get my Huckleberry fix shipped to me without even coming to see you guys in person

Staff was pleasant and helpful. Food was hot and came quickly. Restaurant was clean and shop was fun. Whole Pies were outrageously priced although lunch portions and food was affordable. That said, food was good but it felt like everything was frozen so I just cant bring myself to rave about it. It's a hood value for your money and given the area I would say family friendly. I would go back. I just wish a whole pie cost less that $35. I would have paid $25. I have been to more famous pie places and done so.

Had Huckleberry Pie with Huckleberry Ice cream and a Huckleberry biscuit. I feel like I'm becoming a true local here in Montana. It was all great! They have a small variety of ice cream options but they do all kinds of different food options. There is a surprisingly large seating area to relax in and a few tables outside the gift shop area.If you're trying to get your huck on, this is a great spot to try. Enjoy!

Perfect spot to pick up any huckleberry items. The huckleberry pie was delicious, and we enjoyed the shake too. We stopped here twice on our trip to Glacier.

Pros:Bathroom was clean (enough)A lot of variety with food and apparelCheapest slice of huckleberry pie we foundPopular tourist attractionCons:We waited 25 minutes in line for a few slices of pie.The pie filling was tasty but became soup upon transport. The dough was also raw, to quote my friend while eating the pie, “it’s like a wad of chewing gum”.The cashier couldn’t remember the cost of the individual honey taffy candies and admitted she made up a price and charged $0.69 each (they were $0.35).

We visited the Huckleberry Patch this evening. We had a slice of huckleberry pie with a scoop of huckleberry ice cream. It was delicious! The pie was more tart and a nice contrast to the sweetness of the ice cream. We loved the atmosphere, and the staff were helpful and friendly!

Auhmazzing huckleberry pie + huckleberry ice cream. Have been stopping here for years and each time memory doesn't do it justice. Simply delicious.Fun to wander the store and browse local novelties and souvenirs. Each visit I enter convinced I won't purchase anything...but more often than not I leave with a something. Today it was a wood carved Montana tree ornament.Clean bathrooms.

On the way into Glacier NP, we stopped in. MT is all about huckleberry everything. Life is short so we had pie a’la mode and a huckleberry shake for breakfast! It was worth a stop any time of the day!

This was a great put stop after hiking all day at Glacier National Park. The Buffalo burgers were delicious and the servings were generous. I totally recommend trying the huckleberry soda and ice cream as well, it was a big hit with the whole family. It felt great being able to relax insigts r during dinner, then sit out on the deck in tee sunlit ht eating ice cream in the sum.

Small town feel and lots of huckleberries! The store is loaded with souvenirs! We loved the huckleberry pie. If I could describe the taste, it would be a combination of cherry and blackberry (without the seeds)

After a long hike at Glacier National Park, we wanted a test for the ride home. Huckleberry is something I hadn't experienced so I just had to try it! Husband got a huckleberry shake and I got the warm huckleberry pie with ice cream. They were both delicious!

Great place to stop. Garden burger was good; had a delicious fresh French roll for the bun. My husband had the North Fork Cheesesteak and says it was great. It also came with the fresh French roll. Not sure if it’s standard to get the French roll with those menu items; it’s not listed on the menu that way, but it was a nice treat! The Ice cream was yummy and the scoops were very generous. Gift shop is huge with lots of great souvenirs from huckleberry jam and popcorn to sweatshirts, coffee mugs and jewelry.

Dear Huckleberry Patch,THANK YOU for the lovely box of Montana huckleberry treats. What a glorious familiar huckleberry aroma when we opened box. So very worth waiting for!! Each item was a wonderful reminder of our fun travels to Glacier NP and surrounding areas years ago (including the Huckleberry Patch). We started with the delicious scone mix this morning. The cute little jar of huckleberry preserves to warm and pour over was a tasty surprise! The scones were light and fluffy and yummy!! We sampled a bit of creamed honey over them too. We highly recommend! We look forward to each additional treat...esp. the Huckleberry pie mix. We appreciate the careful packing of each item so they arrived safely to us in SC after their long trip.Friends, if you are looking to order or take home a delicious bit of Montana...try the Huckleberry Patch!

What a wonderful restaurant and gift store! The food was quite good and the gift shop satisfied all in our group of 10. Best of all was the wonderful Montana hospitality exhibited by every employee we interacted with. If you're near Glacier National Park or just visiting the Flathead Valley, stop in. You will be glad you did!

The huckleberry is to Montana what the peach is to Georgia. There are shakes and ice cream, hard seltzer and hand lotion. But the most coveted is the pie. At Huckleberry Patch they’re in demand and all homemade. Tasting like a blueberry-blackberry-raspberry blend, this pie balanced sweet with tart in a buttery crust that we low oven warmed and ate with Umpqua Vanilla Bean. Delish!
