The employees were so nice. I needed to get cash, and they are probably the only place in town where you can get cash. You have to spend over $10 to get cash back, so I grabbed a couple of items. I was surprised at the fresh produce. The store is small, but they carry quite a barrier of foods. It was a very pleasant experience.

First day in the area and we went to the little store at Glacier Park. Well we were not interested in 7 eggs or the option of one type of bread. Fortunately we went to Canyon Foods just down the road. This store has everything you will need at a reasonable price. so glad we took the trip down the road. super clean store and friendly staff.

Number #1 place for ice cream in Glacier!!! Cheaper and bigger than anywhere else! And its a cute little store with all of the basics and weekly discounts. Make sure you stop here for the ice cream for sure. Chester's chicken and jojos are also a family tradition on lake days.(Single scoop filled the cone and a cup for $2.75!!!)

Hands-down FAVORITE! I travel a LOT and frequently patronize different stores (dread it). This store is not large (i.e., time-consuming and overwhelming), and had almost everything I wanted. Layout was easy to follow and items were in the aisles where marked. The produce looks great. Most prices were lower than I expected (thank you!), and I made use of some good specials. Other patrons were friendly and polite, and I enjoyed the friendly banter at check-out.

One of the best check out experiences I have ever had. Large chains could learn from this place. Very friendly. The food selection was satisfactory for a place of this type. I would not be concerned. By all means reccomend to anyone in the area looking for a store of the grocery type that is well stocked. Do not get excited about fresh fruits and vegetables. Do get excited that they are open and friendly.

I have been into the store several times through August. First time was fine and dealt with a older lady cashier with grey hair. About a week later same cashier but this time she was unfriendly without a hello or thank you through the check out process. Next time with with a younger guy cashier and he was super polite. Last time (today) was with the older lady again. As soon as I walked in I looked around for a hand held basket to use. I asked her if they had them. She said shortly they are right there. And pointed to the left of where I came in. As I was reaching for one she said in a stern voice “That will be $50”. I grabbed it and turned around and said “Your not worth it”. She said “Fine try to carry it by hand then” in a smug tone. I put the basket back and walked out.I don’t know what this ladies problem is? I had only been polite and friendly with her the times I have dealt with her before. Warning to Manager. This lady is driving out customers discriminately. I will never go back to shop at your store because of her. I am on my way to Columbia Falls .

Have been here several times and they are always well stocked and have friendly staff. Their fried chicken is really good and a great price! Their prices can be higher for some items compared to Columbia Falls grocery stores but some items are a great deal so I always check them out when I drive by.

That was the best part of my vacation.Every body that worked there was so very nice to me!I found the already hot food.... and loved it.Last day there. . I bought ( finally ) from the meat department, and made our dinner. The butcher helped me out with ideas on how to cook it. Just amazing.I thank all of you for my great experience shoping in your store for just over 2 weeks!

I give this 4 stars because it's my home town grocery store. Most of the year it's great but I feel like prices always get really high on certain things once the tourists come to town. They have most things you need and it's pretty much the last store to get groceries before you hit Glacier for the day. They have ready made sandwiches and all the fixins for a day at the park.

Got most of our groceries here for our 3-night stay in Essex. It was 40 miles away but we were closer than that to the store after doing the trips to West Glacier park entrance each day. Their prices are reasonable. They have a good deli and great fresh fried chicken. And if it’s a little past fresh they’ll give you a break on the price. At least they did for us. My wife liked the breakfast wraps. If she could beat the bridge repair guys to them

For a grocery store located where it is, it does quite a good job of having a nice selection of both name brand items and generics. Prices are also fairly reasonable.Parking lot is large and located across the street from it. It doesn't really look like one a street, but it is, so don't get smurfed walking out the front door.Fair amount of staff working as well. They have a small deli,more like you might find in a gas station and a meat counter.

Small local grocer just outside West GNP entrance. Friendly staff. None wore masks so you feel pretty out of place if you're a non local following CDC guidance. County is currently in high risk category with 22ish% positivity rate.

Really nice little grocery store and the most delicious fresh "Chester Chicken"!! They make it hot and fresh right there! I drive up from Kalispell just to get it. Stop on your way through Hungry Horse and try some.

On our recent trip to Glacier National Park we rented a self catering cabin and Canyon Foods Supermarket became our "go to" store whilst there. It was approximately 25 minutes drive from the park's west entrance. Due to it being early spring all other grocery stores in Apgar and nearby the park were still closed for the season. Canyon Foods had everything we needed. Small butchery, fresh produce, dairy, bakery as well as canned goods and wine. They have a small deli with freshly made chicken, etc. My husband particularly loved their beef & bean burrito's. We were in the area for a week and did all our food shopping here.
