It's a good store with comparable pricing and good products. I just think it would be wonderful if they were to open up the aisles a little bit and deep clean some areas . Maybe a good remodel or renovation could add some comfortability to the old place. Still a great store though!

Worst customer service I have experienced in a long time. Rude woman in charge very quickly let us know we were inconveniencing her. Had not shopped there in a long time, will NEVER go back and will go out of my way to share this terrible experience I had with everyone.

Aside from being harassed and accused of theft with no probable cause besides one employees suspicion, and one other incident, this place is alright.If I have to shop here again, I'm hoping the employee(s) will just leave me alone.

The employees are always plentiful and willing to help customers. It is so nice to have that kind of service during these times. They are a smaller store so there isn't the variety one would find in one of the chain stores but the service is worth the limited options. I was in search of some screws to finish my chicken coop and wasn't sure exactly what type of screw was needed and they were there to help!

I just had 5 people ask if I needed any help finding anything. Many times I'm working on some odd ball projects and come to Ace to cobble something together and instead of confusing looks I get smart questions and thoughtful help.

Great selection. Too expensive to shop everyday but great in a pinch. Good location if you live on the capital end of town, considering there's no other hardware store on the south side. Staff always seem like they would rather be elsewhere than at work. But with that said a couple members are very helpful.

Always have just what need every time,or a better alternative. The clerks on the floor must be required to memorize the exact location of every inventory,and how to utilize it. Rock Hand has always been that.I have been using them ever since they opened. I knew the founders an original owners. A 5star business.

Rock Hand Hardware is by far my favorite hardware store. They always have little things that NONE of the other hardware stores have. I've experienced this personally on more than one occasion. The staff are always offering help. I have NEVER been within eye or ear shot of an employee without being met with a happy, helpful and knowledgeable person who genuinely seems to really care about their customers. You don't see this as much anymore when your out shopping. EXCEPTIONAL!! Thanks guys for always being there for your local people. Nice work !!!

As always, the first place I check for oddball stuff lol. Just wish they had more Ball products in, I still don't entirely trust Pur for my canned goods... They currently have Pur Lids on serious clearance as of Jan 2024.

I went there to use their "Re-Sharp" service. They did a great job on my Victorinox kitchen knives. Ten knives sharpened in under an hour. Friendly service!

I have been shopping here for decades. They seem paranoid of shoplifters but thats their choice. It depends on who is on shift but most employees are willing to help you. A few are more self serving than others. These workers come and go over the years. So it can be good or not, depending on who is on shift. I still shop there since I live close and can find most things for myself.If their website shows something in stock- then I have found that it always is. However, the given employee might tell you different. So believe the web site first...........best regards to all

Wow, I just spent over a hundred seventy dollars at this store. After I checked out, I browsed the store waiting for my ride, and a store associate found me and ushered me to the front of the store and refused to let me shop further. You're the customer until you're checked out. I understand the need to limit potential shoplifting, but this is ridiculous. I certainly won't be buying the Christmas lights I was looking at when I was rudely chased out here, and I'll keep today's exchange in mind for repeat business. I joked on the ride over how much I hated giving Jeff Bezos at Amazon my business and that I preferred to shop local. No one's laughing now.

Hometown people! Gotta love the smiling, helpful ones at Rock Hand. I went to get a spare key made. Ended up with the spare key, a great conversation with the gentleman making the key, and wasp traps and lawn trimmer line. product placement-good job Rock Hand. I'll be back.

Horrible visit! Front end staff were far from anything called "customer service". I asked for help in plumbing. But first I was accosted for not wearing my mask. Which was in my hand, putting it on my face! I never received help in plumbing, left empty handed and the staff could care less. I didn't ask for a manager only because I was so angry I didn't trust my words.I used to praise that store for great service. Not anymore. Bummer, I won't go back.

We went into Rock Hand after striking out at other hardware stores in town. We needed help finding adapters for an odd plumbing part and understood it was likely going to take several steps to get us where we needed to be with our DIY project. Zack took the time to listen to the specific issue we were having, thought of several avenues that could help us, brainstormed with us, and came up with a proper solution.And Zack, if you’re reading this, it worked! Our dad now has an operating countertop dishwasher! We used every one of the tips and tools Zack gave us and we are so grateful that our disabled father can now safely handle his kitchen cleaning. What a lifesaver you were that day.To the owners of Rock Hand, give this man a raise and a vacation please. He is a saint among us. Thank you again.

Most helpful group of people in Helena. They will work hard to make sure you get what you came in for. Best customer service in town! We come in a ton for their home brew supplies and the crew will help you out with every aspect! They also have very good prices!
