Huge store. Has ALL of the typical Petco options. Whenever we are in Helena visiting relatives with our pooch, we go in to stock up for the drive back east.This last time we decided on a last minute nail trim and they were able to look up our info (we shop regularly at a Chicago Petco) and get our dog in immediately. To top it off, the trim was top-notch!Super friendly all around - from grooming to checkout.

We have all 3 of our dogs groomed here energy 8 weeks. The staff here has always been prompt and courteous and helpful for us . They've also been very kind to my dogs and have been very patient with our young dog who is learning that being groomed an important thing for him due to the fact that he is a poodle. I understand that the store itself is hurting for staff. But even then they have still been courteous and helpful every time I'm in the store

A well stocked, well organized store. The grooming was fantastic and I would highly recommend it. They did an expert groom on a very fluffy, very manic husky, and they never complained. They also managed to squeeze us in on short notice. They verified vaccines of course and keep a very clean and fun store.

I understand that finding people to work, but the whole store was a total disaster. Lighting seemed to be dimmed down or off. Was that to cover up the messiness of the store? One person was covering the floor and when she asked what we wanted she was in a hurry to answer us and go back to what she was doing. The cashier was polite, but seemed not wanting to be there. Did not even offer us a bag for our purchase. Like I stated before, totally understand the lack of people wanting jobs, or expect really high pay for stocking shelves.

I needed help identifying a potential supplement for my dogs itchy skin, and got a great recommendation from an employee. Another connected me with a groomer who cleaned my dogs ears for free! A+ service all around!!

Wouldn't recommend dog training classes with Allison. We have 2 puppies in our home (brother&sister). Both signed up for separate classes. They are 6 months old and while they were a little stressed/nervous at the beginning of class they settled down, the barking stopped and learned everything they were taught. Today, we get a call that the trainer would like to refund us for class as they feel private lessons would be more appropriate....... too much stress for the puppy.

The lady who got us our fish was very helpful. Unfortunately three of the 7 fish have died within 2 days. Two, at least, came from a tank with several dead fish in it. She said that it was a new shipment of fish and that some die after being transported, but that they had been there long enough to be okay to purchase. My students are disappointed. I know I can return them, but it is a 30 minute drive from my home to the store, so I don’t go often. I don’t really want to save dead fish until the next time I go to town so that I can get a refund.

Always find what I need, sometimes it's not always in stock but that's okay! The cashier's are always friendly and have a smile on their face, as well as the folks doing inventory. They always seem to help me find what I need (or close to it) whenever I ask. Hard to see skilled workers, especially ones who do it with such enthusiasm, but petco of Helena definitely has them. Keep up the awesome work guys.

I only go in here when I absolutely have to. It’s so dark in the store. Shelves are never stocked. Carts and tiered carts of freight are always on the floor. Workers never greet you or even ask if you need help. Today, a manager on duty saw me lost and confused in a section and intentionally went into another section of the store to not talk to me.And I get it’s a California based company. But a bag fee? The company clearly isn’t investing that, or any profit, back into the store.

We enjoy visiting the large varieties of creatures sold at Petco while Woola's in the Spa. We seldom leave without adding a new treat or toy to the dog and cat's collection.

The pet selection is not very good unless you like fish.I go in and buy our dog food and rabbit food. that is about it.Never anyone at the front counter. They are really nice when you do interact with them however..

I know the response I will recieve regarding this post, but I am making the post anyway! I came in and purchased aquarium filters, reptile vitamins, meal worms, and Dubia roaches. When I got home and got things unpacked, I discovered that out of 24 roaches, "all" but two were dead. At that rate I paid $5.00 a piece for the roaches. Very unhappy and displeased! I will no longer be shopping at Pet-Co and will give no positive recommendations.

Petco. Where do I start. Priced OK. Sales are good. Selection is great when it's available. Staff are not friendly. Store seems to always be stocking and is very crowded. Aisles are narrow. Fortunately or unfortunately they're still better than petsmart

Lights were turned down too low. Aisles were too narrow for my mobility walker; boxes and display items made it very difficult for me to get around in the store.They did have what I was looking for. And if I was still mobile, I would rate the store higher. But now that I use a walker to get around, I can see where the store does not consider the ease of getting through the store for those with mobility issues.

Best place for fish supplies and they are almost always on top of the fish care (cleaning, feeding, dead count etc.) Much better than the competitor in town. People are friendly. Although on busy days like restock it would be great to have more associates for small pets and fish!

Everytime we go to this store to try to get filters for our tank they are out. The imagitarium is the brand. This has happened for 3 months straight. I hope they replace my fish and reimburse my gas for waisting my time traveling 47 miles each time to this location. I will no longer shop here

I normally get my dog food here. I like their reward program. I'm getting food there anyway, might as well get a little something for it. But lately, I dont like the fact that no matter what store I go into, there ALWAYS seems to be unshelved merchandise on the outskirts of the isles on carts. Are the employees that lazy not to put it into the back storeroom, or does management not know how to order, and it's always overstocked? Meaning the back storeroom, so thats why there is clutter in the store. It's like walking through a Walmart during Christmas time or restocking times. It's all unnecessary clutter. Cluttered and hard to maneuver a cart thru. Sometimes I'll have to turn around in an isle because the back isle is blocked with carts of merchandise. Do this enough, will make someone want to buy from another feed store. My grace and patients will only last for so long.
