I bought some paint and floor tiles today and they were extremely heavy. When I set them down as gently as I could, the scanner fell off of the self checkout station. So the red haired lady working those registers proceeded to accuse me of throwing the tiles down. She was extremely nasty and should not be near anything customer service related

Usually I prefer Lowe’s to Home Depot and found a lot of what I was looking for and also things I didn’t think I’d need until I saw them lol…. But then I had to use the women’s restroom and 3 different stalls I tried, 2 of them had actual poop on the outside of the toilets. These bathrooms need to be checked more often

Special order so they came in late from Denver. Worked around it. The hard part was steep.roof pitch, 7/12 had to tie a rope from tree and figure out how to tie bowline Knott. Hot weather makes it hard on shingles getting hot. Best to knock off about 11 am. Otherwise you'll slide into your shingles from above and from below you'll mark the coloring of shingles

Would have a 5 star for the sales woman in the appliances but the delivery dropped the ball.They rescheduled a whole order without my consent because one item was missing and pushed it all another week out. We have been waiting two weeks for a washer and dryer (that is sitting there in stock) and really need it, and made that very clear to the Assistant Store Manager John. John told us “it is what it is” and advised that he “can put in a request” but can’t guarantee anything. Awesome above and beyond customer service…. 🙄

Purchased a kitchen sink and faucet where they offer installation services as advertised next to the display in the aisles. Was not prompted to add on installation at the register and contacting the local store and 1-800 number I was disconnected multiple times and ultimately told "we don't offer installation at this time in this market". So take their advertising promises at your own risk and try anywhere else before working with this company and especially this store.

They've always had everything I've needed and then some, haha. I always go in there for something specific and leave with all kinds of random stuff I'd never expect to find at a home improvement store. It's a fun place to just look around and get lost in. However, there have been a couple instances where I've asked employees for help locating a specific item and they had no idea where it was either and I basically just had to wander the store til I either found it or gave up. Of course I always read the aisle signs, but sometimes they have some things in places thay aren't where you'd expect.

Worst carpet purchase experience of my life. Went to lowes to buy high-end carpet and padding. Sign on carpet said 14 day install. Salesman said that means 14 days from measurement to install. The measurement tech will call you within 24 hours to set up a measurement time. Well, that 1st call took 3 days. We set the measurement time for the next day. Lowes said the tech doing the measurement would call and give us a precise time to be ready. That call never came. Tech called only when he was already on his way. I met him at the house to get the measurements. Took him all of 6 minutes to do 2 bedrooms. He said you'll have your install estimate in 24 to 48 hours. Really? Called lowes next day to check on estimate, and they said tech never dropped off measurements, and it will take to at least end of week, so now we are in 7 days from selecting carpet to getting an estimate. How are you going to install in 14 days or less if you can't even provide an estimate in 7 days. Home Depot had their estimate ready the same day as the measurement, and that tech did call us back in less than 24 hours to set up the measurement. Lowes has done nothing but lie to us the entire time. I'm not purchasing from these dead beats. 💀 Grow up lowes. Learn where your paychecks come from. Customers.

Paint department is inconsistent. Some folks are extremely knowledgeable and helpful (Bobbi comes to mind), others seem to be brand new with little training or assistance. Most recently I went there and waited 10 mins and couldn’t get help. There were no customers in the paint department and no employees. So it wasn’t because they were busy. It was 2:00 in the afternoon on a weekday. Pushed the help button twice, and even asked customer service to page someone. No one ever showed.I’ve found the plumbing department to be fantastic. I forget the younger guy’s name with the beard and hat back there, but he is great. I’d give this department 5 stars.Other than that I have found myself going to Depot more and more these days.

We went here for special interest. We're visiting friends, they have young kids. I used the restroom and discovered, that the toilet lid contained a hidden child seat that folds down. Now, I have grandbabies, so it was a quick sale, I bought two. They work perfectly

I am really disappointed how they handled a warranty return issue. I purchased a $600 snowblower from them. It had a five-year warranty. After the cobalt snowblower stopped working I returned it with all of the components. They called to confirm the item was still covered by a warranty and the Lowe’s national office Confirmed that it was. The national office said handling the return and replacement was completely up to the local manager on how they wanted to handle it. The local manager acted like he did not want to be bothered with the issue and said there was nothing they could do About the exchange because they didn’t carry the item anymore. I had to insist that they call other Lowe’s in the area to see if they had a similar item. Again, I was met with an attitude of inconvenience. Finally, I forced their hand and made them do an exchange with another similar item. However, they refused to supply a fully functioning snowblower with a fully functioning snowblower from another company. They made me pay for an additional battery that was required to make the replacement work properly. Looks like Home Depot and other local hardware stores from now on.

While I prefer Lowe's to Home Depot and the selection at Lowe's, it is extremely difficult to find help or a cashier. On a busy Saturday afternoon there are NO cashier's other than self-checkout.

I really like Lowe’s and prefer it over Home Depot… but in Helena, Lowe’s is inferior to Home Depot. The aisles are cluttered with items needing to be stocked, employee equipment litters the place (ladders, forklifts, etc.) there is no one around to help you and the line at the register is long… was the worst experience I’ve ever had at any Lowe’s…

Shopping at Lowe's is a great experience. We bought our Maytag washer and dryer from Lowe's when we built our home in 2016. Many of our household furnishings, such as area rugs and small appliances came from Lowe's. In 2014, Lowe's window installer competently installed the replacement for a large second story window in our apartment. We especially appreciate the military discount to make maintaining our home more affordable.

I prefer Lowes over Home Depot but this location is always a mess and you can hardly get a cart down the isles. Waited at the pro desk for over 20 minutes to order some product and never received any help. The cashier just kept saying they will be back in a minute.

We started the project to make the bathroom ADA functional for me (Disabled Veteran) because of my back injury. I was having issues stepping over the the bathtub lip when I got out of the hospital due to a re-injury of an old Army injury. We wanted to make the bathroom a little bigger to widen the door for a walker, when needed. Remove the tub and just have a shower with a bench seat for access. We also wanted to improve the aesthetics in the process.We also decided to redo our small kitchen in the process and a couple of smaller projects to get it all done at once. From the start of the project Lowe's was horrible. They didn't coordinate the supplies and shipments correctly with the contractors, they didn't bother to verify the supplies when they came in, items were damaged, not what we ordered, wrong sizes, the Lowe's installation employees didn't do an initial checklist like they were supposed to, and coordination of projects was extremely disorganized causing major delays.When the new appliances came they had upped the appliances to high end costing appliances and we quickly found out why the budget was inflated. It was our fault for not verifying the final purchase of appliances and to be honest by the time the appliances came we were so sick of the delays and problems we just wanted them done. The contractors Lowe's hired did well on most things except for the shower. The shower leaked through the wall and floor right from the get go. This project started last year around April 2016 and our shower issues are still going on today.We have filed seven requests for repair. The grout the contractor use failed several time cracking and breaking apart. The window seal job they did around the tile wasn't done properly and the water started pooling in the wall and came streaming out the outside of the house, through the wall, into the floor and into the basement.It has been a complete nightmare. Lowe's management has constantly promised resolution, they promised it six times with no resolve. We keep seeing turnover and promises of the issue being fixed, but it still has not been fixed. We highly discourage using Lowe's in Helena Montana for any projects.

He was very knowledgeable about not only paint, but different types of brushes to use and different types of trimmers to use and explain to me why the different charge of different things throughout the department and which I really appreciate very knowledgeable and helpful, give him 100%

Had an interview and I showed up early. The assistant store manager finally came out 12 minutes late and asked me to come in. No hand shake, no greeting. Nothing. I could tell from the start that she just wanted to get the interview over with. Every time I answered a question, she'd stop me mid-sentence and go to the next question, like she didn't even want to hear what I was going to say. This is very unusual for me, because I usually make a great impression at job interviews. I dress up, address them and smile, and I have good worker qualities, and probably more experienced and qualified than most of the people applying. She actually cringed after one of my answers talking about how thorough I am with my work and said, "you sound just like our Store Manager." Apparently that's not a good thing in her mind. This woman was the most unprofessional, rude AGM I've ever seen. It was honestly bizarre. I've never experienced such a discourteous interview. She said she would contact me the Monday after that weekend and I just knew she wouldn't call. I could just sense that before I even arrived she had no intention of hiring me. And I was right. No phone call. My guess is she researched my social media or something prior to the interview and didn't like something about me - maybe she doesn't like Christians, I don't know, but she was very unimpressed by traits that are normally valued at a job - like being reliable, work-minded and detailed.

I went to buy paint and asked very nicely if they could call someone to the paint desk. There were 4 employees behind the counter. One responded they were stretched very thin but would try to get someone to respond. I waited 15 minutes and 3 employees walked by but no one stopped to help. I grabbed my paint color swatch and headed to a Home Depot. They saved it in my profile, mixed my paint and I was out the door 10 minutes later.

We are remodeling our bathroom We had picked out flooring ,tile and possibly a vanity at this Lowes.After today not sure I will get anything here. We had already purchased a tub and tub surround. Had a pickup today and went to pickup the tub surround. Took almost two hours to get this accomplished. They couldn't find the one that an associate put sticker on two weeks ago and didn't want to give us one of the four they had in the racking. They said they may be saved for someone who has purchased one. I kept telling them "yeah, like me .here's the receipt". It was mass confusion. Then I asked about what the warranty was if a panel is cracked I was told the two gentleman in the bathroom section there is only a 24-48 hour warranty to return it. A lady a customer service told us that is not correct. She said just call and discuss if there is an issue since we live 100 miles away. Not a good showing for Lowes on the customer service side of doing business.

Went to the garden center today to get advise on plants. They called for the older lady who is supposed to be the go to person with all the answers.They only thing I got from her was, she was not happy to be working there. She was so bothered to be asked anything from anybody. Terrible attitude. Never a smile. Maybe she would be happier at McDonald's. I'll go to home Depot for now on.
