On hold for 17 minutes! Long enough to drive down there to find out they couldn’t find my prescription that my dr had sent over. Asian tech acted like I was bothering her work to assist a customer. And no pharmacist to help me with my prescription that i have to have! 0-customer service and 0- functionality of the computer system! Moving to a good pharmacy, you should too!

Shout out to the pharmacy guy working today at CVS (He might have been the pharmacist, on Montana Ave and Custer) Stopped by to pick up a script about 3:00, only the drive up was open, he was the only one there, staff all called in sick. The drive up was 10 cars deep. I decided to try later. Came back about 5:50, not realizing they close at 6:00 today. My script wasn’t ready but he filled it for me before he closed after working in the pharmacy by himself all day .Its workers like him that make a difference, thank you!

Mike, at CVS located 3095 North Montana Ave in Helena MT, was so generous as to quickly help us find what we needed on Thanksgiving today. I appreciate his work ethic and hospitality being he was the only person working today! Thanks Mike, have a great Thanksgiving and I hope you get to see this!!

The pharmacy has really gone downhill in customer service. Perhaps they are experiencing staffing issues like so many other employers, but even if so it seems reasonable to expect an accurate estimate of the time needed to prepare items for pick-up. After the third “we’ll have it ready for you soon, come back in 20 minutes”, I am sad to say that I can no longer support this business.

Very rude pharmacy representative. Looks like CVS has several rude pharmacy employees at this location that people have complained about and yet the problem still exists. Will not come here again

The male cashier at the front of the store, Mike is really friendly. He has a really good sense of humor and he is very helpful. He not only told me where the item I was looking for was he walked me to it.

Always closing early with no sign on door.Lady came out and said they're understaffed.. I could literally ring myself out at self checkout .. this happens more and more.

The grey haired tech at this pharmacy did the opposite of everything I asked and kept trying to close the drive thru window on me while I was still asking questions.I told her I didn’t have insurance and that I didn’t want it filled there cause I was just passing thru (I was hoping it would be filled when I got there but they had put it on hold and didn’t call me to tell me why). I told her I didn’t have insurance and not to bill it to the insurance on file (from an old job). She put it thru the insurance on file which paid for it, but I don’t have that insurance anymore so I’ll just get billed later.Then I asked her not to fill it cause I was leaving town anyway and she filled it anyway.Just a headache for absolutely no reason. CVSs in general can’t seem to do simple things. She also quoted me 40 minutes to fill a pack of birth control. You just slap a sticker on. Just incompetent and/or apathetic about their patients.

Tony the pharmacist is the rudest human I have ever had the misfortune to deal with. Seems to be on a power trip. Won’t let you finish a sentence when making and inquiry. Cuts you off before you can finish the sentence then threatens to inactive your prescriptions. Don’t waste your time or money at this pharmacy

ive gotten my pictures developed by them a few times, and they always tell me that theyre going to call/have called me multiple times. i have never gotten a call saying that my photos are in, so in turn i assume they arent ready. the last time i went there, i decided to call after 2 weeks of not receiving anything confirming they were done, and they told me they threw away all of the pictures that hadnt been claimed. i had spent days taking those pictures, all of which were very important to me, and the fact that they threw away my pictures and also told me that they "tried to call me a few times" when i had received no phone calls from them at all is extremely frustrating and heart breaking. and i have the phone number labled on my phone so i would have answered, yet they still tried to blame it on me. i think this CVS is fine, but dont go here to get photos developed unless you want to be either disappointed or lied to.

Just received a call from someone claiming to be from this pharmacy (Michael?) indicating they needed to update my personal information so I could have 3 month refills. I politely responded that I am not currently in the area and don't actually have any refillable prescriptions and once he realized I wasn't going to give my personal info over the phone he abruptly hung up on me. I called back the number to ensure it was this pharmacy because the call seemed so sketchy, and sure enough the call was from this pharmacy. I will definitely go elsewhere when I return to Helena for any future prescriptions. A very bizarre way to conduct business. And to whoever you are that called, I hope life starts looking up for you at some point and you find some peace.

Disappointed. I needed a certain prep prescribed for my medical procedure. With over 2 weeks notice, they were unable to complete my prescription. Instead of calling and letting me know it was on back order, I had to find out 4 days before my procedures (4 days that include a holiday and weekend). When I went to pick it up, they informed me it was on backorder and that I would need to call around to all the pharmacies to find in. Thank you for not giving me notice sooner. I greatly appreciate you looking out for your customer's health. If I'm unable to locate this, then I have to cancel my appointment, which are booked months in advance. Nothing like scrambling on New Year's Eve.

Took 5 hours to get antibiotics and missed doses because of the inefficiency of this store. Drove up through the drive through, asked to pull around and wait for over an hour. Came back through the store and a new staff was there. No one communicated anything to the staff change. 5 hours of sitting with a UTI and they didn't care. All they had to do was call and confirm with the urgent care we came from. Urgent care said it was sent and confirmed. All the while people take lunch, get off work and my significant other is in pain for hours.

3rd year in a row they have taken vaccination reservations but not had anyone on staff who could give the shot, they didn't have the shot, or just flat out closed early with a hand written sign in the door. "You know how to *take* the reservation, you just don't know how to *hold* the reservation. And that's really the most important part of the reservation: the holding. Anybody can just take them."

Pharmacist Thomas is rude and condescending to customers. I have witnessed it with other customers as well as myself and wife. We left and went to West and now that it has closed we are back at North. I believe Thomas is not fit to be around customers ever. Amber is great to work with and Pharmacist Rachel is unbelievable and a joy to work with and a hard worker.

Came here for some pain killers, sleeping pills and allergy meds for my road trip. The store was clean but didn't experience the service since I did self check out. Not sure why the low rating by other but I was able to find a good selection and pay/leave in a timely manner via the self check out.

I have to say I am currently on the fence about this location. They where great for a year after I switched, but the last 3-4 months, they seem disorganized, and borderline incompetent. I requested a refill on a prescription (that my bottle said I still had one refill left) on a Monday and checked on said prescription on Thursday only to be told I had no refills left & I needed to contact my doctor. My doctor told me I still had a refill. I asked CVS, and Jordan, who is the pharmacy mgr, told me their system had auto cancelled my refill and he was just sorry. Meanwhile when I went into pick up my prescription after everything was sorted out, they couldn't find it and after 10 minutes Jordan had to fill another bottle for me.

My child always has to go with out on her meds with this pharmacy, they say they have them ready when they open and month after month they never do. They rude and say it be an hour when I drive over. I call and ask day before and they always say yes it be ready but again never is. I Switched to Walgreens and get them the day before and she never has to go with out. This pharmacy has rude employees and always complain about being short staffed or some excuse. If I could give less then a star I would.

God help you if u have to call for a refill. Sat on hold on the phone for 20 minutes and no one answered. Drove over then sat in the waiting are and called to see if they would answer. Again sat on hold until I walked up and asked why I have been on hold for 10 minutes when only one person had came through the drive through. She had nothing to say and acted like she got caught.

I have had nothing but GREAT service from the store and especially the pharmacy. One pharmacist in particular went out of her way to help with insurance information to insure the billing was correct. I was also told how I could save money with 90-day prescriptions, and the pharmacy staff in turn did this work.

It really bothers me how much this location has gone downhill in the last two years. It's almost never open hours I can pick-up prescriptions. Hours change frequently. The store is messy. It's all but impossible to opt-out of their frequent and intrusive text messages.

Went into CVS last night after working 12 hour day only for the lady working there to be very rude. I went in around 810pm she right away asked if I needed something(very snotty) then asked if I was shopping. I said no I'm fine and yes I was shopping. I asked what time they closed she flat out lied to my face and said 15 mins which would of been 830pm so I quickly looked didn't see anything I was looking for and plus feeling I wasn't wanted there I left. I will not return to this location again with the way she treated me and lied to me. Worst customer service I have ever had.

03/05/20 Rushed to get to CVS before they closed, I got there 4 minutes before 9. And was told by two employeea to comeback tomorrow because they had a long stressful day. And was ready to go home. As if other people don't have stressful days a at work. Waisted gas and time,, I for one will not be shopping there again.5/11/22 two years later I go to a different cvs on Custer st. Online and posted store ours say close at 9pm. Arrived there at 8:15pm and store was close. Who ever owns the cvs franchise in helena. Needs to get it together. It's no wonder they have a 2 and a half star ratting. I have traveled all over the country and i have to say these two CVS's are the worst I've ever visted.

Rude pharmacist, lied and gave me the impression that my insurance wouldn't pay. I called my insurance co., who keeps detailed notes on all calls, they said that CVS called then hung up when they were put on hold. I called CVS back and they tried to talk circles around me and pretended that it was a misunderstanding on my part. Also when I first picked up my prescription it was the wrong one and had to drive back. I would never recommend this business unless you want to be snapped at and lied to.

Never open when i need my medications!!! I'm sorry but I need my meds for heart and B/P along with meds for endocrine issue! I am ready to change pharmacies!!!!! But you all don't care!
