It's great to go to a store thats not a mad house with people. Good discounts and unique items not seen at larger shopping centers. The cashier let me know about the sales coming up and the coupon I got for donating to a good cause. Great experience all in all.

The people that work here are nice and helpful. The store could use some color, banners, decorations or something. It seems kinda sparse and a little gloomy. It wouldn't take much effort to visually cheer this place up. The prices are good and they have some pretty crazy sales events.

I like this place. Most workers are friendly. Prices are pretty good on most things. Good clearance sections. Clean and Tidy. Bathroo.s are always clean (mens). I wish they would expand their toy section though.

If I could give no stars I would. We parked in the parking lot and went across the street to get the things we needed from the other store first and were about to head into Big Lots to shop around when a very rude employee walked up to us and told us we had to move cause it was private property. He was very rude about it. Didn't even give us a chance to say we were going into the store. Needless to say we won't be shopping at Big Lots anymore as well as anyone we know.

My wife visited there yesterday with a group of three other women. They found a great selection and good pricing. Everything was fine until checking out. The young man was over bearing and pushy. He asked them for their phone number. When they said, no thank you four different times he continued to ask. Saying, "If I don't get your number I'll get dinged". My granddaughter finally had to tell him she didn't care and wasn't giving him their number. Sounds like someone needs some more training in customer service, it's NOT about HIM.

Always on the dirty side... prices are ok, but questionable quality.Here is what really drives home the point for me... there is an employee who is there often. Seems very nice but has very VERY bad body odor... there is no way this person's manager isn't aware. You are in a store with plenty of deodorant, there is no reason for the olfactory assault

I literally haven't seen friendlier people in most stores, let alone big lots. The guy working furniture was helpful, friendly and knowledgeable- I'm sorry I didn't catch his name. April was so friendly she actually got me to sign up for the rewards card, ( I never do that)..... Go in and visit them for nothing less than a friendly experience. My only semi negative thing is that not all merchandise is price marked.... Other than that, I'll be back!

This store is awesome if you know what you're doing and have reasonable expectations. Unfortunately, Helenans are borderline-tard and thusly do not possess any perspective or reasonability. Look at how these dolts spell, punctuate and act completely unaccountable. Don't trust anyone from Helena, Montana to write a remotely objective review about any business. This valley is where stupid is either born, or goes to die.

They have some unique things for Christmas gifts. Really neat different gift sets and things like that. Good deal on a lot of stuff. Fun place to shop. I went in last time thinking I didn't need a cart and ended up having to get one anyway because I kept finding fun things to buy.

This was my first shopping at Big Lots since moving back to Helena. I had forgotten what a fun experience it could be for a discount chain. The staff we very friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive. Big variety from furniture to food to electronics in this smallish (compared to its huge rival just across the parking lot)

There are so many items to chose from here, but buyer beware some items are very poorly made. I purchased a tv stand for my office to use as extra work space and was excited that it had wheels so it would be mobile. Unfortunately the wheels were not meant to be functional and angled in such a way the it could not be moved with the wheels. I have purchased other items here and have been happy though their storage items are great, their kitchen items are as well, and so are some of their other items. Just beware of their furniture quality.

We bought a couch online for in store pick up the same day. We got the email that it was ready to pick up so we rented a U-Haul and went to the store. There they proceeded to tell us we had to pay even though I had emails saying my payment processed and my back account showed the transaction (it was pending but was subtracted from my balance). We left with no couch and wasted money on the uhaul as we did not have another $549 in our account. It's been 10 days and the transaction has settled and still no refund. They just keep telling us it's up to the bank, who does not show that the transaction needs I be reversed. Now we have to file fraud while this company keeps our money. BEWARE

They have great deals and are never busy... I don't think Big Lots thought through opening next to Walmart but I like it.

Everyone is so friendly and GW is an awesome manager as well as the other managers. The rewards for members is appreciated. I have shopped Big Lots when they were known as Pic n Save many years ago. Love that store so glad they are in Helena

More expensive than Walmart, less selection than Walmart..just go across the parking lot and save yourself some time... I will say the employees are very helpful and friendly though!
