I had done a fair amount of research on youtube for a string trimmer and thought i had a pretty good grasp on things but was amazed with the level of knowledge and the customer support I got from the salesman and the service team. They set me up with a great machine and I even caused myself a little trouble and the service department was great in helping me out of it.

I needed a pigtail for my new dryer and they had the right one in stock. It was the same price as the larger hardware stores and saved me a longer drive.

My past experiences at this store have been relatively good. Generally, someone was near the door to greet customers and ask if any help was needed. NOT TODAY. I had a return and went to the checkout area where nobody was present. Waited for nearly 3 minutes when someone (a female) shouted from the back of the store they'd be right there. When Angela (her name was on my receipt) was processing my return, she proceeded to reprimand another employee for not watching the front of the store while at the same time having somewhat of a meltdown behind the counter. While that reprimand may have been deserved, Angela broke every rule in the management book. That scene should have taken place in private. Finally, after the return was processed, I needed some weed eater line. I picked one off the front wall and it rang up $6.99. I advised Angela that the price was marked as $5.99. She told me she had some prices changes to post and hadn't gotten to that one yet. She did not refund my $1.00. Is $1.00 going to break me? No...it's the principle of it. POORLY DONE Valley Ace, Angela and store ownership. This store will be my "go-to" store of last resort. Lowe's and Home Depot are just six minutes down the road.

Be careful what you buy at valley ace. The employee that SOLD me the items, Refused to return the items even though they are in new never used condition. Literally bought last night, like 14 hours ago... I was never told that the items were non-refundable and it wasn't posted.

Little pricey but great to have them in the valley. Very friendly and as helpful as new to hardware people can be. Lots of young kids but i appreciate valley ace giving them a chance.

Worst customer service ever. It's worth the time and effort to go to Home Depot or Lowes. Cashier was rude and not helpful. They advertise products they don't carry (not just one, but multiple). This specific business gives a bad representation of "Ace Hardware" everywhere else.
