It would be nice if a pet store and its employees knew how to properly treat parrots .they have one bird in there that cannot visually see any other birds the bird gets no stimulation unless somebody happens to walk through the aisle.would you stuff a puppy or a kitten in a box by itself like that? they could at least put a plexiglass barrier in between his cage and the parakeets .a parrot is very intelligent and needs company it's not a snake makes me sad

Staff are very good and helpful. Grooming people take good care of my Maltese. Their delivery service is great too. They are just out of my food here and there and cancel deliveries because without a phone call to let me know. It is not easy on my dogs tummies to switch food out of the blue so a heads up would be helpful if they are not gonna have large dog Eukanuba available for my auto deliveries.

The gal that helped me was very rude. She asked if she could put all fish in one bag I said no because I have a 2 hour drive. She was mad. Through everything down sighed. I told her forget it i will go elsewhere. She put fish in a bag then scooped more fish. She squished the Bala Shark in half. Got home Angel fish had no water cuz she didn’t tie bag correctly.

Went in to get wax worms and my dogs food. Store was out of waxworms but Laurie and Zach took down my number to be able to call me once a shipment arrives. Zach bagged up some crickets for me. Kevin was at the register and it’s always so nice to see him at the store.

Just took my little guy to get his nails clipped and he wanted to show off how pretty they looked and how pleased he was that the Petco staff was so gentle and kind. They did a great job and are careful in handling him because he's old and blind. They are quick and seemed to genuinely care about the pets they handle. Thank you! Would highly recommend them for pet grooming.

People are always so nice to me. I really only shop for my lizards but they always have what I need. When I rescued my crested Geko from people throwing him away in his cage . I had a lot of questions. Lucky the person who helped me knew a lot. He's gaining weight and is doing great. :)

Called and asked about them having crickets a guy told me they had them so I told them I'd be right in. When I got there they tried to tell me they didn't have any crickets until I mentioned I had just called and waisted gas to come out here then all of a sudden they had crickets. Really unprofessional I should not be placed in a position to tell the employees they are either wrong or giving out wrong info. Frankly the only reason I gave 2 stars was because the cashier lady was very sweet and had wonderful customer service with my daughter and I. The guys working in the fish department need to be replaced. Didn't ask if I needed help walked past me multiple times while I was looking and when I finally ask for help they lie. Will never be going back here again the store had zero customers while I was there and I can see why now.

Went in with a few questions about cat issues and the staff there was very helpful. They asked relevant questions about behavior, habits and attitude of our kitty then made a few suggestions in regards to products going over each one, how to utilize them, and how they may help. Young gal in the fish department at PetSmart was rude and walked away from me without having any knowledge of the item I needed. Went to Petco, got excellent service and advice from an employee. Super friendly staff there. Guess where I'll be going from now on? Hmm 😏

The store in general is just disgusting. There’s dried pee all over the place. It stinks like dirty animals and not to mention that you can barely walk through any Isle because there’s giant carts of food in every single one. The customer service is terrible and if you need help finding anything they give attitude. Will definitely not be going back.

I came in with some pretty technical aquarium questions. I was referred to a manager and then refered to another manager even higher up the chain. Eventually, I had the pleasure to meet Amanda, the in house aquarium guru. She asked me questions about my set up that I hadn't thought of and made sure I was doing everything right. She offered up better advice than I have found online and recommended a few products that I try. My plants are doing great and I think my Betta has been saved! Enormous shout out to this wonderful lady for taking the time to make things right in my underwater world.

First-time panic-ed shopper at this Petco, located in Great Falls, MT. near the Airport, which kept me on time for my flight as I found myself in need of a larger carry-on kennel for my puppy than the one I had. ( puppies grow quickly ) Options were very limited in sizes, brands, and very expensive. I was not planning on spending $80+ for a travel bag. I had no choice.Thankful that the store was close as I was able to get what I needed quickly. No assistance from employees.

Staff there is knowledgeable, efficient, and personable. I've always appreciated your clean store and good staff, but the big reason I love Petco is for it's commitment to not support puppy mills. The ethic required to pass on the many $$$s and not sell puppies and kittens speaks volumes! Thank you thank you! I recomend Petco all the time based solely on my appreciation of it's commitment to walk away from the money for a worthy, necessary and ethical cause. Very uncommon behavior in corporate America today!

The staff was very pleasant, made me feel welcome, and asked if I needed help. They helped me find an item I really neeeded-a litter box for my injured cat. The cashier suggested the litter box for small dogs and it works perfectly!
