Our Yellow Lab Tucker has been going to Happy Tails since he was 6 Mos old (he's 5 now). He absolutely LOVES it there and we can go on vacation, knowing he's "on vacation" there too, having fun playing all day. The staff really loves each of the animals and treats them like their own. I highly recommend Happy Tails for Daycare, grooming, and boarding.

My dog, Mimi, loves Happy Tails and so do I! I bring her to Doggie Day Care now and then. She is so excited when we get there and is happy and tired when I pick her up. I've also boarded her there a few times and have been happy with the care she receives. The owners and staff at Happy Tails are wonderful and you can tell they all truly love taking care of our pets. We had been loyal 5 star customers for the past 6 years, but we will no longer patronize this business. We really like and trust Steve and the owner, but they apparently don't have enough help to deliver the high quality boarding care that we paid for and our fur-kid deserves. Boomer's last two visits have been disastrous. When we brought him home after a stay in July 2023 he had diarrhea due to anxiety. After 3 nights in March 2024 when we came to pick him up he was frantic to escape, opening a swinging door by himself and jumping on the glass of the exit door. Although we paid for a large private room (VIP), I suspect another dog was placed in the same kennel with him because they likely oversold the VIP service. Admittedly the evidence is circumstantial, so you be the judge. His cushioned blanket and favorite toys had been pee'd on (dogs don't foul their own bedding, and our dog has not urinated indoors since he was a puppy, so we suspect Boomer's belongings had been "marked" by his cellmate). We picked him up around 1 pm, and the soaking cushion and toys were hastily stuffed into the canvas bag we provided with his belongings. In addition, the attendant tried to also give us another dog's food supply in a container labeled "Buster". For the first time in his life Boomer now has fleas. A toenail on his front paw has been split to the quick, necessitating a visit to the vet. When I reported my concerns to Happy Tails on their electronic evaluation forms, I never received any response back from them.

I used to bring my dog here for grooming for several years until he died. Happy Tails always did a fantastic job with grooming! Now, I bring my Father's dog. Just brought him in yesterday for a groom and his dog was ready in just a couple of hours! I tried another groomer that was a little cheaper, but I came back to Happy Tails because I did not have to wait several weeks to get an appointment. Thank you!

It was Athena’s first time at Happy Tails Lodge for her grooming and I was absolutely impressed by Steve who greeted us, Carrie who groomed her and Christine who checked us out. Athena would usually run to me when I would picked her up at other groomers, but when I picked her up at Happy Tails, she did not do this. This confirmed that she liked it there and proved to me that the team there were great with her! Thank you all so much for your great service! I will be recommending you to anyone who needs your service.

The professional staff at Happy Tails are compassionate, and my dogs are excited when we pull up. Boarding my pets at Happy Tails gives me peace of mind while I am away. I know my dogs are well cared for.

If I could give 0 starts, I would. So many people's dogs got kennel cough over here, and unfortunately, my 3 dogs also got it. The next visit, one of my dogs got a huge cut and Happy Tails never told me about this. I asked them what happened and they instantly blamed my family for injuring our dog and got angry at us for even asking a question. My family stopped all contact with them once they accused MY family for an injury that my dog got BEFORE coming home. After taking my dog to the vet, Happy Tails called them to see if my dog was okay; and my vet hung up on them (LOL). All of my friends heard what happened and they also stopped taking their pets here. Such ashamed that this is a "4.5 star" place yet I've heard more negative testimonies than positive star reviews.Edit: Hmm...wonder how the reviews go from 300+ to 214?

We have always had the greatest customer service. Steve has always gone above and beyond to accommodate what we are needing.Finley loves coming and playing for the day or overnight, and his favorite is the bus rides! I highly recommend Happy Tails!

Went here for the first time yesterday for my Jersey Wooly rabbit to get shaved down and cleaned up. These employees are not only super kind, but super good at their job!! My rabbit is now thriving, and does so many “happy hops” in his freshly cleaned home!! Thank you guys, definitely will be returning for any necessary clean ups! Baer loved it!

Very happy with their grooming team. My puppy came home smelling terrific and nicely trimmed once more. Saw the staff out in the fenced front exercising the boarding dogs who appeared quite happy. Really fabulous, friendly staff. Will be using them going forward.

I couldn’t be happier with the level of service we receive at Happy Tails! Talk about an outstanding staff! Steve is very personable and is incredible with the dogs. Mr. Jim is very friendly and our pup is always happy when his ride arrives for daycare. This level of service is rare and we feel like we hit the jackpot!

The staff is awesome there! They take amazing care of our pets. My dogs know the word Happy Tails and get so excited when they hear that word. Having the bus availability is also great. The bus driver is so great with the dogs.

Rude staff, very cold and blunt when speaking to me. I also got the impression that these guys are not cat friendly at all and would prefer to only deal with dogs. The guy who I ended up talking to (can't remember his name but he was a short bald guy with a hipster beard) was very condescending and rude to me. Spoke to me like I was an idiot while all I did was ask some very basic questions about their services.

Hands down, Happy Tails Lodge is the absolute best place for dog daycare and boarding! Steve and his team take extraordinary care of our dog, and have worked diligently to help our shy pup become more comfortable around other dogs and people. Our dog's confidence has grown leaps and bounds over the past year, and it is incredible to watch his growth as he learns and plays at daycare each week. Happy Tails make us feel as if we are part of the family. Steve has gone above and beyond to provide quality care for our pup and his nutritional needs.
