Had an ice maker problem on my refrigerator. Called Affordable Appliance Repair and made appointment for technician to come out to check out the problem. Chris, the owner of the company came out as scheduled, checked out the problem, what repairs were needed, and the cost of those repairs. Gave an okay to order parts and agreed on the charges. When the part came in, they gave me a call to set up time to finalize repairs. On that day, Chris showed at the exact time that was scheduled. Repairs were made quickly and courteously. I now have plenty of ice.Good job!!!

I needed a part for a dishwasher. Heather was able to order it. She let me verify the part when it came in before paying. She communicated with me to keep me updated on the shipping. It was super fast and cheaper than I could get ordering online myself. Will definitely be going back for more parts when needed.

Matt was great! Problem solved quickly and a day earlier then what I was expecting. I'll be calling again if I have appliance problems. Eklunds is who we usually use and they were out almost three weeks! Affordable appliance made it to my house by the end of the week. Matt was able to identify within five minutes what the problem was and tell me how much money I was looking at. Very happy to have clean clothes again! Gene was very knowledgeable and knew exactly what was wrong with my dishwasher. He went right to the source of the problem and "fixed" it. He also warned my that this could be just a temporary fix and that something in my panel may need to be replaced. (It probably will have to be replaced because it is doing what it did before the fix.) Just a heads up, Gene :) Reasonable charge for the call. The only reason I didn't give him a 5 star is because he was later than expected. I also know this happens with contractors.PS. Gene is a dog lover...should give him an extra star for that!

Affordable Appliance has done a ton of work for us at Rainbow International Restoration! My home washer and dryer have had issues, they were able to fix it fast and if needed, order the correct parts and communicate install quickly! We needed a washer and dryer...so on a hunch I called Dean to see if he had any older ones he might sell. He showed me an older pair that were perfect. ***DO NOT USE AFFORDABLE APPLIANCE REPAIR***LG steam washing machine.I called the company to schedule an evaluation/repair service for my washing machine which would not rotate the drum. The "technician" arrived and began what I thought was going to be troubleshooting the issue. I told him that the drum would not rotate with a load in it. He went through the program menu to look for errors. When he found none, he called technical support. Here were the issue began. Even when I told him that it would not spin with a load, he placed no load into the washer to verify the problem. Technical support had no resolve for the technician when he called, though he gave them insufficient/incorrect information to go on. He finally made a guesstimate of what the issue may be. He wanted to order three different parts for the machine. I had asked him if he could verify the VAC and amps of the motor and the accompanying parts which he thought were the issue to verify that they are indeed bad. He said he had no multimeter. HA? How can you troubleshoot electrical issues with no multimeter. I even gave him a schematic of the electrical system for the washing machine, he was definitely clueless. He said the parts might take at least 7 days to relieve. After he left I took the machine apart, following basic electrical schematics of the unit which it came with, through amp/voltage checks I found the electrical system to have no issues. The mother card, which he said was at fault= $250, was not the issues neither was the sensors. I found a mechanical issue which i ordered the part on line for $60 which fixed the issue. Long story short, I contacted the store and they said he was a seasoned technician of 20 yrs plus--WOW. They still made me pay for the service,70bucks, and were very unfriendly and unprofessional. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! In my experiences they are highly unqualified and unprofessional. All they do is "SWAP TRONICS" to try to solve the issue at full customer cost.

I've used these guys a couple times to repair appliances in the apartment complex I manage. They are always punctual, professional, and courtesy to the property!The receptionist was also great, and was able to provide me with all the information needed for the repairs prior to even dispatching.Price is also fair! I got over-quoted on a fridge repair, but ended up paying less since the work came out to be less.

I had one of their tech's come by to fix my Kenmore fridge. He said it's the compressor and motor but he couldn't get the part anymore. But then said if I gave him $165 he could order the part and come back later and put it in, I'm a dummy for trusting him. Don't make my mistake. They are dishonest and untrustworthy

Called to get a refrigerator repaired that was not freezing, told them on the phone its either the compressor or motor Tech came by, charged $65 and said yep, its either the compressor or the motor will have to send somebody else by and it will cost another $65. Ask why they didn't send him the first time and was told because they don,t do it that way. Ask the first tech if could diagnose it better, said, I don,t work on them.What a rip off, ended up just buying a new frig.

We have a refridgerator that had quit woriking Christmas day. I thought that I would have to replace it as it is 14 yrs.old. We called this company to see if they could check it out. They made the appointment with us and fixed it the same day. The repairman was very pleasant, polite, HONEST, knowledgable, and informative, I feel that the charge for this repair was very reasonable. We are very satisfied with the repair and the service giiven us. I highly recommend this company and will feel confident in using them the next time i need an appliance repaired. Thank you and thank you in saving me from the expense of purchasing a refridgerator that was not needed at this time.
