I use a lot of coupons and online ads. When ace hardware had their current ad up on their local Facebook I noticed a coupon and thought perfect I can use that. Went to the store saw a pile of ads and thought I'd just utilize the online ad and leave the paper for someone else. Sadly they wouldn't even honor it even when they went out and got an ad it had been cut out. To my surprise when I went out and looked as I left every single ad paper had that coupon cut out. Why advertise it in your ad or even on the ad online and then not honor yet. Sadly I won't be returning to this local Ace.

My issue involved my Ego trimmer. It would not rewind new string. I purchased it several years ago? I was not able to find my warranty nor paper work? The front desk did everything they could. Then along came John from the outdoor equipment department. John made everything right. To say I am a satisfied customer is an understatement. Thank you so much Ace. These are great people and store!!! Please thank them for me.

Update: New store is a big improvement. Open layout - same helpful staff.Ace is as good as you're going to get in a small local hardware store. I have not yet encountered a staff, In my over 30 (100 prob if you count my time in Bozeman) visits, that has been the least bit unhelpful or unknowledgeable.Been there with the plumbing contractor. It's not the shop you're going to go if you need exhaustive resources for any trade but it is you spot for everyday house and business needs. Ace is the helpful place.

ace had the fine tip soldering gun I needed to do the pin point micro-soldering I need to do on cellphones, tablets, laptops and other electronics. and their staff are very knowledgeable in what they have and where it is located. you guys are awesome ace

Super awesome staff,Realized I was out of dog food on a Sunday 10 mins before they closed. I called and they put the dog food up front for me! I arrived right at closing time and they still allowed me to purchase it . I was very thankful cause I was going out of town the next morning.Thank you guys for the awesome service .

I used to love this Ace hardware. You could barely walk in the door before you would have 3-5 people asking if they can help you. Whats changed in this store? Today I was there looking for something to remove hard water from windows. Two different associates just pointed to the general area. The 2nd asked if I found what I was looking for, after she saw it in my hands and finally helped some after I said that customer service was lacking. The time before I asked for help with hammers, the girl working hardware had no clue what I was even asking for, another customer ended up helping me. Thumbs down. Do better Ace hardware, or change your slogan. Ace is no longer the place of the helpful hardware folks.

I always love going into local Ace hardwares. This one was no exception! Everyone is super helpful and excited to be there. Even if you're having a bad day and this is your 5th visit because you can't get the right size bolt so you finally let your wife convince you to just bring a picture of what you need instead of showing up and guessing every time. They are always there with a smile and eagerness to help. From product knowledge to skills sets the works have they are more than willing to answer the call to help us YouTube contractors with our mistakes. I would submit that they are a true unsung hero.

Just had to run in and grab a couple of things and was able to find it quite easily. Store is organized and staff is helpful and friendly. I got into line to pay, one person was ahead of me and someone immediately came up, opened a register to process our transaction.

Ever since moving into my new house, I find myself going to my neighborhood Ace at least once a week. The staff is always especially helpful when I can’t find something or if I’m not 100% sure which product to buy. Also, the key cutter was soooo nice last time I went in! Always a good experience at this location.

The associates are always helpful and more importantly, knowledgeable. Today I went for replacement blades, a planer and some other materials for a repair on a piece of furniture. They had everything I needed and didn't mind me asking for help finding a few different items.
