I was in the Glendive, MT store (5/4/2023) around 1pm. I'm not sure of the sales lady's name, she was shorter, heavy-set, and had white hair. My husband and I have been in multiple times and let’s just say she has a reputation. I have never had an issue with her personally until yesterday. I purchased 3 large bags of soil plus 3 bags of compost, piled on a flat bed. I wasn't sure if I needed to bring them in to purchase or not so I got ready to go through checkout. The large bags I had stacked on the flatbed were not going to fit down the aisle. Since they weren't busy, I walked around with the heavy flatbed within view of several employees so she could reach them with the scanner and to avoid knocking everything off the shelves trying to force it down the checkout aisle. When I stepped up to the counter she asks "Why did you go that way?" So I told her they weren't going to fit down the aisle. She argued with me and muttered under her breath rudely, I brushed it off. Not sure why I would choose to go around just for funsies? After that I set some small items on the counter for her to scan, leaving only the big dirt bags on the flat bed. She yelled at me to just leave everything over there, but scanned those items anyway. Then she pulls her scanner over to scan the dirt, but it won't reach. So she starts pushing the flatbed back up the aisle, where I'm standing, yelling "move, move, move, move" multiple times. By that point there was another customer behind me and she practically pushed me into her. Then she yelled "stop". I was so embarrassed, being yelled at and herded like livestock. After that I paid quickly and got out of there.I have never been treated so rudely before, she treated me like I was worse than dirt on her shoe. If there were any other options in my town to shop at, I would do so, simply to avoid interacting with her again.

Bought a Heavy Duty 5ft Box Blade for tractor and Les was right on it.. Les got the Blade into our truck like a Pro.. Nice store.. Great Service ..

I went here to make some keys and found myself walking the isles because of how well kept the store was. Very clean, very friendly staff and everything I looked at was properly labeled. The employee who made my keys was professional who quickly made several keys for me.

I have only met one polite welcoming employee there. The cashiers are never friendly. They act like they do not want you in store. I am 66 and a nice person. I hope I never need to shop in Glendive Mt store again. Been shopping there over a year and nothing changes.

Terrible customer service especially in the gun department...went to buy a gun they said i was on delay came back several times same thing bad attitudes...said they would call never called...went down the street to guns and things walked out with a gun...how hard was that? If you don't like your job and have a bad attitude you should probably find employment in a back room somewhere away from people.

Its overpriced. I found the same paddle fishing tackle at Ace in Glendive for half the priced. The lady at the register was rude and condescending when I asked her about ammunition. I was just visiting someone else and not from the area. It's a store to avoid in my opinion.

Ahh yes, Glendive shopping. I like the name Runnings. Last time I heard of running was after eating some bad Chinese food. Don't walk but run to running. Walk if you can but sometimes nature calls!

I'm only giving one star because the customer service was awful when we got to the register our cashier was rude and snatched our items with a demeanor that was not polite. Even after spending $400 in the store the cashier showed no respect.

Great place to buy almost whatever you need. Always surprising what's offered here. Fair prices. Would have been 5 stars but must have caught the store on it's shipping day. A lot of bare spots on the shelves.

Ran into car problems driving from Chicago to Seattle. Ran in here on accident when I developed car problems. couldn't believe they had part I needed to make repair and get back on the road. Guy who helped me in hardware was excellent. Very pleased. Great find.

Cashier was pretty rude, I said hello when I walked up to he register and she looked at me and said nothing....the entire time except "need a receipt ".Guess you have to be a local or something?On the plus side the store has a little of everything.

I stopped in for some hunting magazines. They sell a bunch of hunting gear and apparel, but don't have any hunting or outdoor magazines? Seriously? Kinda strange. I left without buying anything because they didn't have what I came for.

I came through from Bismarck ND and was told I could get a copy of the hunting license I had purchased on line. The computer system could not print out a copy so an employee by the name of Don Balcom helped me by filling out an off line license which takes a little more time. Another individual was behind the counter and in uniform and didn’t think he should do that for me since the store “only made fifty cents on those”. I thought that was part of customer service and Mr. Balcom certainly thought so to. Thanks to him, trip continued as planned. 5 stars for Don, 0 for his supervisor

One of the current staples of Glendive shopping. A modern-day mercantile that has a little bit of everything. Need something for minor home repairs? They have it. Need something for the farm/ranch chances are they have it or can get it. Clothes and additional items you might need for around your home to keep it up and running... Just remember the time they close as they are prompt but won't stop you if you run in at closing for a fuse!

Have went to runnings several times, and the staff is very knowledgeable and willing to help you with all your questions or locate an item. One of the staff I have ask the most for help is Les. Les has been an employee for many years. He is always eager to help and is always very professional. Thank You Runnings for hiring the very best employee's.
