We enjoyed it for a night. Pull through sites are not very level but we found a spot and did not need blocks. Nice with the trees and park nearby. Owners are very helpful and keep the place clean. Laundry is clean and has three washers (1 was out of order) and 2 dryers. $1.25 and .25. Did not use restrooms. Would stay here again.

We just had a one night reservation on our way to Glacier National Park. The owners a super nice and we had a large drive through site. We would definitely stay again

My car broke down on our way through town and Shady Rest was kind enough to find a space for us and our RV for the night. Beautiful spot, great price, full hookups, lovely and open and easy to navigate, nice hot showers, and the absolute kindest office staff ever. We had an extremely stressful day and being lucky enough to find this oasis took a massive load of stress off of an otherwise terrible day. You can't go wrong staying here! Thank you again, Shady Rest team!

GPS started by taking us to the wrong place. I called the campground and the owner came and led the way.There was a van parked too close to my site and i am new to parking so the owner parked it for me.There was a big rig coming in so the owner came and cut tree branches so they could park without hitting branches.The owners are super nice and go out of their way to make our stay perfect.Sites are spacious and flat.

The Owner not only was more than accommodating to our needs for a one night stay, he showed us to a full hook-up pull-through space so we did not have to un-hook. We arrived well after closing because we had spent over an hour trying to use the Fort Peck Campgrounds reservation system without a human answering. I would definitely recommend Shady Rest RV Park if you are in the area - a bargain at $45 (including bed tax)!

Friendly, clean and easy in and out sites. Nice front porch to relax on. Little to no traffic sounds, just an occasional train whistle. Very reasonable rates for full hook ups. Recommended stop if you are passing through the area. Also enjoyed some Eugene pizza while we were here as well!

Very friendly owners that can be counted on if the there is ever an issue. They work very hard in making sure there tenants receive the best possible service. They also work hard at keeping the facilities clean and In working order. Very reasonable rates compared to any place around. Six Stars. I never had any issues for the two and half months I stayed.

The couple running the park are as nice as others have said. I have never seen so many spare parts for RVs like sewer hoses fittings etc. good price for full hook ups.

Wonderful little RV park... this is my second or third time I have stayed here. Easy to find, nice spots, full services, and super nice owners!Each time I have stayed here I have enjoyed the area and surroundings... Fort Peck Reservoir is only a few miles away and its so fun to explore.The town of Glasgow has enough to keep you busy with a museum, which was awesome...movie theater, and several nice places to have lunch or dinner.Would reccomend the stop here on your way across Montana...Thanks for the memories!

We stayed here 05/27/21. The person who checked us in was super nice and the park wasn’t bad, gravel sites with worn picnic tables. The site could have been more level. My main problem was the dirty bathrooms and laundry room, there were cobwebs in the corners and dirty floors. The shower stalls need upkeep with rusty metal parts and walls that need a good scrubbing! All in all it’s a place to spend the night.

My family stayed here a week on our way to the Dakotas. They gave us a pull through site for our 43’ Long fifth wheel and it was all the space we needed. There was a nice community park behind the rv park that my kids loved playing at. We got to know the owners and other family members while there. They’re super nice people who work harder than anyone I know to keep the park running. Give them your business if you’re traveling through. You won’t be disappointed.

Cody & Greg are wonderful hosts who went above and beyond to make sure we felt at home. I love the park, it was filled with shady sites and is kept clean. The shower house and laundry facilities are also really nice and kept clean. Grocery stores and restaurants are close by as well as sight to see such as Fort Peck. Whenever I'm in Glasgow I'll be sure to stop and stay with my new friends at Shady Rest.

Campground is clean and attractive. Owner let us pick out our site. It was level which is important when traveling late and your tired. Restrooms were clean but dated. Would stay here again

If you are looking for the best place to park your RV/camper, whether it be for 2 days or 2 months, this is it. This location has Wifi, full hookup access, a shower house, and a laundry facility. Not only that, it is located directly next to a large park for recreational activities, and is just a couple minutes from town. There are rates from nightly to monthly, but no matter how long you stay you get the absolute best deal. Perhaps the best thing about this RV park is the helpful folks that run the grounds. They were the nicest people I've ever encountered along the road and always willing to go above and beyond to help their visitors. They work really hard to keep the area clean and well maintained and are always outside working and improving the sites. I really admire their dedication to make this RV park the best it could possibly be. Thank you for making our stay feel like home away from home!

Can be tight for larger RV's, our spots weren't very level. Kinda weird layout for water too.The owners were super friendly and helpful. Close to town but quiet. Not a bad spot to stay at all!

I stayed at Shady Rest for 3 nights including the fourth of July 2019. I picked Shady Rest since they are close to Fort Peck Lake and I was looking to get out on the water. I am sure glad I picked Shady Rest, the owners where better than you could ask for. From the moment I came in they offered to show me around the park for the best spot and when I needed an extension cord they borrowed me one right away. They treated me like part of the family and invited my dog and I to celebrate the fourth of July with them, it was a great time. I honestly couldn't ask for a better place to stay, the owners and their family are great people, know how to make you feel welcome and run a nice park. If you are traveling through or staying a while, stay at Shady Rest, you won't regret it.

Wonderful campground. It's quiet and off the main road but easily accessible. The owner was wonderful and let us pick the site we wanted. The sites were pretty level, they were gravel and a nice little grassy area with picnic table. No onsite park but there is a community park directly behind it and a path to the park.We'll stay again!

I got here as it started to rain. The office was temporarily closed (they had run a store). I called and spoke to a very nice lady. She told me where I could park. The rain was a gully washer, WOW. I didn't use the full hook up, laundry, or shower facilities. My parking space 17 was level side to side but sloped front to back, which was fine. I would happily stay here again.

After 4 weeks on the road, this was one of the best kept parks that we have stayed in. The park is a couple blocks off the beaten path so relatively quiet. The toilet/shower room was clean and smelled fresh. Gentleman that checked us in was more than accommodating. He pointed out things to do, places to eat and helped us into our site. Wifi worked OK for our purposes. We had a very pleasant overnight here. 4 to 5 star experience.

Great overnight stop while traveling on US-2. Big, level pull throughs with good WiFi and 30+ OTA tv channels. Super friendly owners. Would definitely stay here again! We stayed in a 36’ class A towing a car.

This is a really nice, quiet and clean park... This is our 3rd time staying here and when we stay, we stay for months at a time. Bonnie, the camp hostess is awesome. I just love her. She's very helpful. I broke my arm and shoulder over the winter and she made sure I had everything I needed... She's the best!
