Great: Remodeled rooms, quality towels and linen. Mood lightingNot so much: Window blind wouldn’t close all the way leaving blinding streetlight outside window shining in. No light in entrance area of room. Motorcycle and truck noise.

My husband and I stayed there last night and it was a cold and snowy drive there. We were there for my husbands work the greeting was warm and inviting as we arrived. The owner was very welcoming and had good advice on where to eat. The room was love. They accommodated our request for a late check out. And they had a coffee bar for the morning. The shower was hot. And the bed was comfortable we will be back.

Bed was quite firm with no top cushion, difficult sleep. No dedicated parking area.Booked room specifically described as having a "recliner", but only had a stiffback chair from the 70s. Thought it would be a nice old, "historic" hotel for my stay, but was just "old"! Won't be going back.

On a road trip from Illinois to Idaho, we stumbled on Rundle Suites when looking for a hotel room in Glasgow. What a wonderful surprise to find such a gem. As other reviewers have already stated, it’s a work in progress, so don’t let the exterior deter you. We were on the third floor - there’s an elevator (part of the experience). Before getting to our king room, we passed a lovely lounge with pool table (part of the interesting history of the building - be sure to see the photos and read the building’s history in the lobby), sitting area and TV. Near our room, a coffee/tea/ water bar was set up along with microwave and toaster with bowls and disposable ware. The room was a delight! Bed was very comfortable. Room temperature great, and the bathroom had a shower I wished I had at home. We’ll be back!

We love historic hotels, and seek them out over chains whenever possible. The Rundle Suites is housed in the historic Rundle Building, and has maintained so many cool details and lots of charm through thoughtful renovation. There's more to come, and we enjoyed hearing about some of the plans from the GM Chuck. His enthusiasm and vision for the property show! Our room was spacious and well appointed with super comfortable bedding and a great shower. The detail of the ventilation panel to the side of the door was extra cool. We also had a blast challenging each other to a few games of pool in the 3rd floor lounge. Well done, Rundle Suites. We hope to return one day.

Our room was small, comfortable and modestly furnished but it was very clean, which was the most important thing! The historic property was charming, and I was delighted to find it (during my online planning) in this area where lodging options are limited. The property has so much character, and it is obvious that the owners are putting a lot of work into caring for it, including continuing to make improvements and upgrades to the building. Pros: very comfortable bed, great shower, coffee/tea/water station (including microwave and paper plates&napkins) at a well-organized station in the hallway. Cons: small areas in our room were not quite finished (short plumbing pipes sticking out of the wall on the other side of the bathroom wall), small hole in the drywall behind the nightstand. Also, we had forgotten to ask about the fitness room and the steam bath when we checked in, and the young woman who checked us in didn’t mention those amenities. I would love to have seen those areas. However, she and the owner/manager were both quite helpful in providing information on local restaurants when we asked—- that was great!Overall we were very pleased with our stay in this hotel, and would definitely stay here again if we ever return to the area.Walkability: The hotel is located in a small town that seems to have a lot of history. It was fun to walk around the area! Unfortunately our visit fell on a Monday evening, so most area shops were closed. The grocery store was within an easy walking distance, though — perfect for picking up some necessities for our road trip!

We were passing through Glasgow on a cross country trip. We liked the idea of staying in an historic hotel. The building is very cool and has lots of promise. It is still a work in progress which mostly shows in the lobby and entry areas. Our room was fantastic! It was huge, clean and well appointed. The hallways were nice too with interesting artwork, lighting and coffee stations. We were able to park on the street right in front of the hotel. It was a Sunday so very quiet. We left early the next morning and many businesses were not open so the location seemed a bit deserted. We wish you the best as you continue to build the business and upgrade additonal parts of the hotel.

I lived in Glasgow for many, many years & recently stayed one night while meeting with friends. The Rundle Suites are a pleasant place to stay! The photos (wallpaper) were a great touch! Yes, there’s still renovation going on - but they’ve done well & I hope success continues!Since I grew up here, the sound of the trains didn’t disturb my sleep at all. Will definitely stay here in the future.

Very nice place in a location that at first caused us concern. Inside also checking in were people who work for the railroad who regularly stop here who assured us it was a nice place. The manager came out shortly and made us feel totally at ease. Such a nice person! This is a very old hotel that has been totally redone. The rooms are HUGE! They are nicely furnished and have big Keurig machines and a nice selection of pods. If that isn’t enough there is another coffee station out in the hallway with everything you could ask for. We were pleasantly surprised by our stay after initial apprehension and very glad we stopped in this historic town.

I've stayed here twice now. This time we were able to store our luggage for half a day until our delayed train came in. The service was friendly. I like the vibes of the old building. We were up on the third floor. There was a bit in our room that seemed like a work in progress - plumbing pipes poking out of the wall - but the room was fine. They went with the barn door on the bathroom, which is a bit weird, but I guess that was a trend.Safety: This is a really safe area as far as other people go. Sidewalks are pretty rough. Not a lot of pedestrians.Walkability: Glasgow isn't great for walkability generally, but this location is quite good. We could walk to the museum on the north end.

Travelling from Calgary, Alberta to Mississauga, Ontario through the US. Perfect location to stop for the night. Very clean, comfortable, bright and updated. Sheets were so soft and comfortable I didn’t want to get out of bed. For an old historical building you feel the charm but with updated amenities. Chuck is very friendly and makes you feel at home!

Can't beat the location. It is smack dab in the middle of nowhere. We were traveling across MT on the way to Glacier, and Glasgow is a good halfway point. The city is nice. It was quiet, small and rural. Things seemed safe. The room was pretty good. Bed was comfy. Good sized room. There was an old-world charm.

I stayed three nights at this beautiful hotel in downtown Glasgow for work. Before checking in, I was genuinely curious about how each of the rooms look and Chuck the manager spent time showing me around available rooms for five nights. Chuck is very nice and is there to answer to questions about local knowledge. I felt lucky to get a room with comfortable air flow - Loved the wall mounted air conditioner. I loved everything about the room I stayed at. All of the housekeeping staff was courteous and friendly.Somehow I had a reasonable excuse for canceling the two nights of stay. Thank you for your understanding this situation and refunding any prepaid expenses. I sincerely appreciate your best customer services! I will definitely return when I travel to Glasgow next time.

I stayed here for three nights and was generally satisfied. The room was clean, and the bed was comfortable. The historical building is very interesting, however the restoration process has been long and is still underway in places. Thus there are some spots in the hotel that are not completed or are under construction. My only complaints were my room heater/AC unit was very noisy when it kicked in and woke me up. I just shut it off before bed and that worked fine. Hot water was running short one afternoon as well but was better later in the day. I really liked the coffee machine in my room and the coffee bars that were available on each floor. I was working early mornings and could make a decent coffee to take on the road each day. There is a 24 hour restaurant across the street so you can always get something to eat if needed. Staff were quite friendly overall. I would stay here again if I needed a hotel in Glasgow. It is a much more interesting place to stay than the usual run of the mill hotels.

The handicap accessible room we had on 2nd floor needed more lighting. The 2 bedside lamps just didn't provide enough light for the room. Would it be possible to change out the blue & green track lights in the ceiling to just clear ones? We did hear each train that rolled through town since we were on the same side as the tracks. There were 3 trains each night, Friday & Sunday nights.

My week stay was perfect. The room was clean and quiet. Took in the new steam room in the evenings. The new digital steam room was the icing on the cake. I would recommend this motel for any future travelers.Rooms: Newly remodeled with a historic feel.Noteworthy details: Steam room 100 degrees.

We booked with the Rundle on a last minute overnight trip. We've stayed in older remodeled/renovated vintage hotels before and this one did not disappoint! I called and verified that they knew we would be coming in extremely late and they assured me my room was available. When we arrived I found my room keys and receipt waiting for me. The room was a pleasant surprise with renovations that were wonderful. Staff had also added a twin size bed fully made up for my son. We come to Glasgow often and will definately be coming back!

This is a unique property with beautiful guest rooms. I think something more needs to be done to improve their curb appeal as the entrance and exterior really don’t represent the property or guest rooms. The manager/owner (not sure) greeted us cheerfully. Explained everything well and suggested places for supper. We slept well in a comfortable bed with the softest sheets I have ever slept on. I tried to find a tag but I didn’t find one. Lol. The fan supplied in the room was welcome as it helps drown out any outdoor noise. Some late nights snacks/vending machine along with their well stocked coffee bar would be awesome! The price point is a little steep but we will be back! Thanks for the hospitality

We stayed three nights and would do it again in a heartbeat! The staff was so friendly, but the General Manager knocked it out of the park. He was exceptional! He was super friendly, answered all our questions, provided ideas, and took time to have conversations with us about the area and its history. The Rundle Suites' historic building has a character and charm that complimented our stay in this quaint, quiet town. The rooms have new sinks, tubs, microwaves etc. and are clean and comfortable. Modern conveniences including good internet and TV and coffee Keurigs are available and there is even a pool table that we enjoyed using at the end of our days. We liked the decor but the photos tastefully displayed in the hallways--large, 6'+ panaromic photos showing the town's history, Ft. Peck dam, and the area's landscape--are what we liked the best. We would not hesitate to stay here again! We highly recommend it!

They really get the little things right. The towels are thirsty, they have air conditioning AND a ceiling fan AND a small fan just in case you need a personal fan to sleep. The sliding farm door for the bathroom is perfectly level, so it actually shuts, but it hooks shut if the building ever settles. The hallway photographs are thrilling, and with the hallway furniture give a modern Noir vibe. The bed is comfy and enormous. They have an impressive coffee/tea station, and a deli is right next door. Someone put a lot of thought into this boutique hotel, a surprising unique experience in Eastern Montana.
