I highly recommend visiting this gallery even if you aren’t sure you are going to purchase a print. The photography is amazing and often Chris, the photographer, is in the shop and will share the stories of the images displayed on the wall. Just to hear his stories is worth stopping by! We have visited this gallery every time we come to Yellowstone, and have purchased four prints so far. They are all hanging in our home and remind us of the grandeur and wildness of Yellowstone! Thank you Chris!

We stopped in here while driving through to Glacier on August 20th. As we walked in we were greeted by the owner(Chris) and were blown away by the pictures. We weren’t planning on buying anything but after talking to Chris for 20 minutes and hearing the stories about each picture we asked about, we decided to purchase 2. My girlfriend got a big black and white wolf picture and I got a smaller wolf with a grizzly. I can’t say enough about how cool Chris was to talk to and how impressive his pictures were, they were also fairly priced. Chris we will stop by every time we visit Yellowstone to visit your store and thanks again for the awesome experience!

Beautiful artwork, but we have never been treated so rudely. I pulled out my phone to take a photo, but very quickly put it away when I realized there was a no photo policy. However, he proceeded to verbally snap at me, then took it upon himself to follow my family and I around the store, glaring at us with a smug look in his face. It was extremely rude and uncomfortable. We then decided to leave because of the awkwardness, and thanked him for letting us look. He refused to respond to our gratitude, and glared at us as we walked out and down the street. I do not recommend giving this man your business, as there are very similar photos that could be found elsewhere.

We went here multiple times during our trip to Yellowstone and the last time we ended up buying some of the art. It’s absolutely the most amazing pictures you will ever see.If you dont want to buy thats fine just go see this amazing art, it brings Yellowstone to life.

He has a nice shop w lots of pictures of animals and scenery. Bought a smaller pic of mama griz 399 and her four cubs. Much less than Mangleson in Jackson. Definitely worth a look. He is friendly, and easy to talk to. He wraps photos in bubble wrap, very securely. That's really nice of him.Would go back again.

We were at Gardiner in June, and came across Yellowstone Wild. What magnificent photo art. He captured the awe-inspiring essence of this place and every element of its unique beauty. From east coast Delaware to west coast California, our family loved the photography.

My husband and I have been fans for years. We always stopped into the Gardiner gallery when visiting the Park. When we visited Chris' gallery in Bozeman and saw his wall art featured, we knew we would purchase at least one some day. Yesterday was that day. We selected several pieces. Chris, as always, was so gracious. We want to thank him for his years of patiently waiting for the wildlife to get within camera range. His coffee table book Yellowstone Wild includes a foreword by Ken Hoehn, who refers to Chris as " a great naturalist and visual artist." We agree and are now happy to feature a few of his works in our home in Paradise Valley. Thank you Chris!
