We got dinner as takeaway from here. The food came as long as it took but it was worth it. In fact every penny was worth the taste of it! We ordered one veggie burger and one chicken burger. Loved both! Also they give you loads of hand cut fries which taste just like homemade. I totally recommend eating here.Vegetarian options: There is a lot of options in appetizers and a veggie burger in mains

The Corral was a disappointment. We wanted to visit Roosevelt’s Arch and thought it would be nice to support the small town of Gardiner by having lunch at a local restaurant. The food was good but pricey. They did offer a gluten free bun, but after a long discussion they agreed to substitute a salad for the fries since there were no other options. Service was poor and we question the cleanliness of the place overall. It was the dirtiest bathrooms we experienced during our time in WY - even worse than the flush-less bathrooms in the National Parks.

Best Elk Burger, period. Their patties are the real deal. Full taste. Big patty, simple burger with Tomato, onion and salad with optional bacon / cheese. Perfect. Takeaway possible.Very friendly and helpful waitress. Fair prices. The place feels like a local original and as opposed to some other places in Gardiner is not a tourist trap.

Food was alright - good portions, flavour wise a bit lacking. The chicken was a bit dry.One of the few place open till a bit late, right outside the North entrance to Yellowstone in Gardiner, MT. Considered the food you’d find around usually, this is quite good.

I can only comment on the service. When the waitress brought out menus she did not take our drink order. After about ten minutes a group of what appeared to be locals came in, and out came the waitress, and started taking their order. We left, that was very unprofessional. We are vacationing here for two weeks. They lost a customer who would have been back several times during our vacation, provided the food is as good as we were lead to believe. We heard it was the best place in town to eat. Food may be good but the help could use some pointers on how to take care of her customers.

We loved our experience here! With the recent flood of the Yellowstone River, Gardiner’s summer tourists crowds are practically nonexistent. That may have been why our service was so amazing and the food came out super fast. We had 6 in our party, ages 11-79, and everyone enjoyed their meal. Elk, Bison and Beef burgers were all excellent. Grilled cheese and tomato soup was also a hit. The tomato soup was obviously homemade and very good. We sat outside on the cute patio and enjoyed the music and the gorgeous hanging baskets of petunias… great atmosphere for the whole family.

I'm from the Bay Area California, believe me I know a lot about expensive food...The price for the quality and amount of food you will get here just can't be so expensive anywhere in the US.Pros:- Good service, fast and well trained staff.- Place not new but has its own atmosphere.- Milkshake was delicious ~$8.Cons:- Burgers are not grilled. Burger is about in-n-out size ($4.90 in Cali). Both bison and elk taste like old beef... I tried elk steaks before, not comparable. ~ $24 each- French fries were good, but it seems like they lost about half of it is on the way to our table. It is about half of the McDonald's medium size. Not recommended to anyone. Overpriced. You will be disappointed.

We stopped here for dinner during our trip to Yellowstone NP. We ordered salmon, chicken and elk burger with French fries. Salmon burger is the best among the three. We ordered twice. The service is good and pretty fast. They have an amazing outdoor dinner space.

The corral was a joint my wife insisted we have....and who am I to say no to a good burger joint. While in Gardner we stopped into this drive-in style joint with loads of patio seating. Pretty unique situation but on a nice sunny day can't complain about that.Me being a glutton bonehead forgot to snap pics of the burgers we had.....doh! However they were good bison burgers. Thick, juicy and with plenty of fixings. One of those burgers that you need like 5 plus napkins style burgers. That grease and juiciness getting all over them mits. So sorry to say no pics but u get the idea. Good burger. The best part that the whole family raved about was the fried cheese balls. Ooooooo weeeeee! I mean it's fried cheese. Well, at the corral they got these things perfected I don't know what it is. It's hard to describe but the cheese balls were fantastic. Something the way they prepare the breading or the process of frying the cheese something in that special way that they do. It makes them very good. I probably could have eaten two or three plates of those things and not even batted an eye. It's been all over a week since we return from those trip and we're still talking about these cheese balls. So do yourself favor if you're in the neighborhood in Gardner Montana swing by grab at least three plates of these bad boys. You'll thank me later.Overall, pretty unique spot. Nothing fancy, but they do serve good food. They probably serve the best cheese balls I've had in a while. If not ever. Check them out. Tell him we sent you and you're welcome for letting you know where to get the best cheese balls.

Cute place right on the main road with plenty of outdoor seating, which is great when the weather is nice. We both got the buffalo burger ($19.95) with cheese and bacon ($6 extra) and the onion ring appetizer ($10.95). The burgers were good as were the onion rings but the price was hard to swallow. I guess it should be expected in a tourist town, though. Our order came out relatively quickly but there was only one person in front of us. A line of people came after us and their wait was much longer. With two cans of pop, we spent about $60. Kind of high for the food we got.

We walked up and ordered from the window. We got takeout and ordered the Angus Beef burger and it was good. The fries that come with it were just OK, they had a lot of grease and were floppy. It took about 15 minutes and we sat outside while we waited. They brought us the milkshake and it was good. So, two Beef burgers (35.90) (cheese is extra 1.90) with fries and one milkshake (7.95) and it was $47.75. total. We try to support local businesses when we travel, but it is kind of expensive.

I went back the next day for chicken wings cuz it was simply delicious and crispy . Miss Angel is very nice( she is the lady in the picture). All the food we had were delicious. If I had to say something I dislike about here the only thing I can say is that the elk burger is a little dry but that is how elk burger is. I only didn't give full 5 stars on service cuz just a different place customer have to help self get seats and drinks. I had the same experience at other restaurants in town, so I guess that is how it is here.

Excellent burgers here!! Definitely worth a visit if you’re coming to Gardiner. They often are busy, and so we had a short wait before we could order. The majority of the seating is outdoors, but they do have a few indoor tables, or you can order to-go like we did. They do it right by keeping the menu small, while offering quality meals.

I honestly wish we had known that the sweet potato fries we ordered would be a side instead of an instead for the regular fries. It kicked our bill up more than we expected. However - the food was amazing, all the way around. Order medium-rare, that's what you get, which is refreshing these days. Regular fries that come with the burger are delicious, and the sweet potato fries which come with a special vanilla dipping sauce were AWESOME!

We were actually very disappointed despite good reviews. Service was actually weak for the American standards. We wanted a beer but were told they cannot serve it after 7pm. ???And when we were leaving the owner opened the bottle himself in front of us!!! This was rude!Food was ok, big portions but nothing special.

Fresh, big, thick, juicy, flavorful and delicious were just a few words I thought of when I was eating this half-pound piece of Heaven. After an adventurous day in Yellowstone Park, my wife and I were super tired so we decided to give the Corral a shot and get a carryout. Even after sitting in the container for 20 minutes or so it was still warm and delicious. The bun was so soft and fresh and it fit perfectly with that big half-pound patty. The burger was super juicy, full of flavor and the vegetables were really, really, really fresh. The french fries could use a bit of attention but still we didn’t go for the fries we went for the burger. As a matter of fact, it was so good we got the same thing the next night, our last night in Gardiner. When we visit Yellowstone again next year we will absolutely positively go back and I would definitely recommend going there.

A casual restaurant that delivers on quality ample-sized burgers. We ordered the bison and elk burgers. The fries were perfectly cooked and the beers were ice cold and refreshing. Staff was friendly and meals came out fast. We will definitely be returning.

Great no-frills dive! Burgers were hefty and filling and came with thin steak fries. We had the Bison and Elk burgers. Very Covid-conscious with great atmospheric outdoor seating. Perfect location next to the Yellowstone North entrance and nestled in a cute town. Would def return for another yummy burger!
