This place is so clean. And quiet. The elk walk around and the views are great. Close access to town and the park. Staff was amazing and the beds are very comfortable. If you fly into Bozeman, it’s an easy drive and the scenery makes the time fast. Plenty of hot water in the shower. Will definitely come again!Rooms: Rooms were very clean and spaciousSafety: We felt very safe. Great night lightingWalkability: Walk to town and nearby restaurants

This place was wonderful. It was affordable lodging that was clean, comfortable, and modern. The staff went above and beyond, taking the time to make suggestions about food, visiting the park, and answering any questions. The breakfast is simple. Cereal, toast, and coffee. The rooms have a sitting area and a nice big bathroom and were cool the moment you walked in. There was even a little freezer in the fridge. And the rooms were SUPER quiet. Plus a view of the mountains. No regrets about staying here!Rooms: Super comfy beds. Clean and spacious and well stocked with necessities.Walkability: You could walk to several nearby restaurants easily and make it about anywhere if you don't mind a longer walk.

This was a wonderful place to stay! We originally only booked one night, but due to a minor medical issue had to pick up a second. Colleen at the desk went the extra mile to make sure we could have the same room two nights in a row and on the ground floor! The staff was also knowledgable about the area and made great food recommendations! They are up front about no breakfast, but the pastries they had were still delicious. The room looked recently updated, and the bathroom was wonderful. Housekeeping really was on point with the attention to detail. Really could not recommend this one enough!

Our four-day stay at this hotel was overall satisfactory. The location was convenient, and the room was clean and cozy. Complimentary breakfast was a nice touch. However, our specific request for room cleaning was not fulfilled despite communicating it to the receptionist and using the provided door tag. Returning from a day trip, we found the room untouched except for standard supplies replenishment. This was disappointing, but the hotel's positive aspects, including location, cleanliness, and breakfast, helped compensate. We recommend ensuring diligent follow-through on housekeeping requests for a more seamless experience.

Great hotel, nice and clean. The beds were comfortable and the staff were friendly. We appreciated no charge for the change of bedding we needed on our young son’s bed. Also, we took showers back to back and did not run out of hot water. There were limited breakfast options only until 9am, but we loved having the laundry room and ice machine right next to our room. It is at least a 1.5 hour drive to most sites in the park, but that seems to be the case in most places outside of Yellowstone. Gardiner is a cute little town - just know that most places close early or by 10pm. The check in building for the hotel is separate from the hotel rooms, it is at the bottom of the hill on the main road. That did make it annoying to use the microwave, but we managed.

We enjoyed our stay here. Close to the park. Walking distance to everything in town. The rooms were very clean. Their was a mishap when we were checking in (our fault) and the woman working the front desk was patient and understanding. Kids enjoyed the cereal and pastries in the morning. Elk outside our room. We'd stay here again

After leaving Alberta in the morning, driving to Glaciers National Park then to Yellowstone, Roosevelt Hotel was the place to be and stay for a night. It’s in a small town name Gardiner close to the park. The town is quiet; walking distance to the store/bank/ restaurants and every one closes at 10pm. Your local neighbors are the wildlife deers, they roam the streets. My check in and out was simple and easy; no hassle. My room was nice and cold; slept well and comfy after my shower. My wall paint was basic white with pictures of wildlife. My bed was made well soft with fluffy pillows. Basic tv channels; unfortunately my room didn’t have a microwave but my freezer refroze my ice packs. Limited parking, first come, first parked. The breakfast is a go and grab, coffee and pastries.. I had a nice time, will go back in the future. The staff are cool people, most of the workers in the town are foreign exchange students , there to work for the summer and for school credits.Safety: The town is safe to walk at night for a nice stroll, everything closes at 10pmWalkability: You can walk to the market, bank, restaurant, souvenirs shops. No need to drive.

Very convenient to Yellowstone N. P. Rooms were clean and updated. Beds were comfortable. Continental breakfast. Laundry facilities are coin operated. Contrary to what is posted here, only cabins have kitchen facilities. Regular rooms have only a coffee maker and fridge. There is a microwave available by the front desk/checking in office. Not many restaurant choices open in town when we were there. Staff shortages...Safety: We felt safe in this area

Room was very clean! A bit noisy at night though. Air conditioner was very loud!! Could use a clock in the rooms and a microwave. Nice view of the mountains from the room.Noteworthy details: Was very convenient to the North entrance to Yellowstone. It was great seeing wildlife in town.

Great room and excellent friendly staff. We were in building 5 and the room was immaculate. The bed was very comfortable, linens were good, pillows just right, and towels were plush and good size. We appreciated the dining area because on that Sunday in May we could not find a place for a salad.Pasta, pizza, and salad down the driveway was pizza only, antlers wasn’t open on Sunday. The grocery store did have bagged all in one salads and that ended up to be perfect for us. Sorry I diverted but I would definitely return to this hotel. Sam was great.

Stayed in a room at the highest part of the hotel (this hotel has multiple sections and is built on a hill). Had great view of the mountains. It seemed like the hotel had been renovated fairly recently; it looks average on the outside but it was really nice inside. Beds were very comfortable, towels were thick, décor was simple but nice, the bath soap is wonderful (square, thick), the furnishings are nice, even the bathroom fixtures are nice. Even "breakfast" room is tastefully decorated. Our room came with a refrigerator (don't know if all rooms do), which was nice to have. Can use microwave in this common area for most of the day. Breakfast was simple but adequate. Staff was friendly. We had a special situation, and we were accommodated (it was a condition of checking in, and other hotel we checked with could not accommodate us). Easy to walk to nearby grocery store and shops, including a great "strip mall" of shops and a restaurant that is right next to the hotel. We didn't need to use the laundry room, but we looked at it and it was a nice facility.

The room we stayed in is recently and fully renovated! The carpet is clean and plush you can smell the freshly painted room. The beds are comfy, the pillows aren't flat like most hotels. It's clean! The fridge also has a freezer which is nice. We came in May and you must check in before 10pm because they don't have someone at the front 24 hours a day. Just assure you plan around that. The other cool thing is that there are elk just walking around town!!!We came in MY

Be careful with this one. They charge an imaginary $30/night "property fee," so that they can trick the hotel search sites into showing a lower price than their competitors in the area, who don't have such an imaginary fee at all. It's important to know this stuff, so if YOU got caught by it too, make sure you leave a bad review. This made-up fee is much higher than other hotels in this area. I did receive a reply from the owner explaining about 1/4 of the fee, but he for some reason refuses to include this fee as part of the taxes (and to be clear, he only explained $7.52 of the fee). So again, it's clearly to deceive people into picking a price-competitive hotel in the area in search results, and again this fee is much higher than anyone else, rather than be up front about it.

We stayed here for 2 nights. Let’s just say you get what you pay for. The customer service and donuts in the morning were excellent but everything else was lacking. Not enough options with king sized beds. The bath towels reminded me of rags and several of them had hair in them from previous guests. I slipped in the shower and bruised my foot on the drain. The water shut off 4x while I took less than a 30 minute shower. Coffee was not good and definitely needs improvement. It’s a new building which is nice and it’s within 1 mile of the northern entrance to Yellowstone, but I can’t recommend staying here. The furniture is very cheaply made. The carpet is worse than walking on concrete. The tv was very small.
