This place was awesome! We were looking for somewhere to stay last minute on our trip to Yellowstone and I’m so glad there was a vacancy here! Literally a 3 minute drive from the north entrance to Yellowstone and within walking distance of restaurants and gift shops. The hotel itself was so quaint and homey. We got the cheapest room (one queen bed and two bunk beds for two people) and it was HUGE, with a couch, TV, kitchen, dish ware, shower, bathtub, and toilet. Checking in and out was super easy and the room was very clean. Honestly I wish we could have stayed longer! Would highly recommend!

I was recently travelling through Montana on a visit from Australia. While looking for accommodation on line I came across Park Hotel Yellowstone. It was everything I was looking for. I booked 2 rooms as we were travelling with my daughter and son in law.The rooms were very well priced, clean and the decor was wonderful.Located right next to the gates of Yellowstone made the location ideal.Communication with Cindy was excellent.I would highly recommend this as a place to stay in Gardiner while visiting Yellowstone NP. Can’t wait to return.

What a great and affordable hotel. Everything was very clean and I loved the western chic furnishings. Favorite feature was the river stone shower. The bed was very comfortable. Easy parking and you can walk to shops and restaurants. Two blocks to the Roosevelt Arch, and I could watch the sunrise and sunset from my room.Walkability: The whole town is within easy walking distance..

Location, Location, Location. Right next to the entrance to Yellowstone. You can’t go wrong staying here. Quiet and cozy. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. Check in was a Breeze and so was checkout. Housekeeping gave us lots of recommendations for things to do and see. Would love to stay again. Until next time.Rooms: Cozy and clean. TVs for those long nights and warm clean sheets for those early mornings.Nearby activities: Wonderland cafe, gardiner gifts, Yellowstone entrance.Walkability: You can walk to the souvenir shop, Yellowstone entrance, the only place worth while dinning at Wonderland cafe.

Our room in the back of this hotel has awesome views of the Roosevelt arch at the North Entrance of Yellowstone National Park! Comfy beds, nice linens, small kitchen area, easy access, manager readily available for check in check out over text. We are return visitors for a reason! Several good restaurants within walking distance in winter. Even more during the summer months.

My family (myself, my husband, and my 1.5 yr old son) stopped here for a very brief stay on a road trip passing through Yellowstone. The woman we talked to on the phone was very friendly and helpful and accommodated us well. She also had good information on Yellowstone that saved us quite a bit of time on our trip.Once we had booked the room, the manager reached out right away and made sure everything was set up for our late arrival. She was easy to reach throughout our stay and also very friendly. The room was very quaint and a great place to stay. It had a nice shower and a fairly large bathroom, and it had a full-size fridge and small kitchen area. The hotel was just minutes from the Yellowstone entrance which helped us be in the park by sunrise.Highly recommend this hotel if you're looking for an affordable place to stay near Yellowstone!Noteworthy details: Very home-like style, not sterile at all like some hotels can be. Very clean and nice and convenient for late arrivals and early departures.

Tami, the owner, and Cindy, the manager, were both wonderful and responsive. The cabin was perfect in every way. It was homey, cozy, and warm. The kitchenette had the tools to cook with. The bathroom was spacious. I slept peacefully in the comfy bed. This spot is so close to Yellowstone's North Entrance and Roosevelt Arch. I hope to return soon and stay here again.Rooms: The room was nice and clean.Walkability: Several restaurants within walking distance

I am so happy that my buddy chose this place for us to stay for our spring break! As two 21-year olds in college, we wanted something different for our spring break and I would say we got way more than we bargained for. We came in late and tired from a 28-hour road trip from Atlanta, but immediately felt at ease with how welcoming the room was and how everything was set out for us. Having a kitchen and a coffee machine helped us plenty and being so close to the park, waking up every morning to the sight of deer and snow-capped mountains was nothing short of bliss. Being close to the park was extremely convenient for driving but also having local shops nearby made it really fun to walk the town of Gardiner. For the already reasonable price we paid, we got way more than we expected and we will definitely be back during the summer!

Lovely location and rooms. We stayed in the Penthouse 301. It was cozy, and big, and the kitchen well equipped, with a Keurig and pods. The view was great of the park (and animals). Wonderland Cafe nearby is a fantastic place to eat - we could have had every meal there. My son and I came for 2 nights, driving in from Bozeman in the dark. It’s a beautiful drive, so if you can do it during daylight, even better.

It's really hard to fault the place. You're right outside Yellowstone and get animals walking right outside your window. Gift shops and restaurants within arm's reach. The place was clean and warm given it was snowing when we went. The beds were comfy. The only small little niggle we had was, because it's a wooden house you hear everything happening around you.

I come to Yellowstone every winter. I usually stay at a different hotel. This year, that hotel was booked. I found a vacancy at Park Hotel Yellowstone. Check in and out was a breeze, they send a door code on the day of your arrival. The rooms were very clean and quiet. We stayed in a ground level room, and I was able to drive right up to the door. After I checked out and went into the park, my itinerary changed due to the weather. I sent a text to the owner Tami to see if she could get us a room. She responded immediately. She booked us a room last minute over the phone. I'm really glad I stumbled upon this place. It will be my go-to whenever I come back to Gardiner. Thank you Tami for your great customer service.

Always stay at the cozy Park Hotel Yellowstone in the heart of Gardiner, MT, and use it as a basecamp for exploring Yellowstone in winter. While services are limited, the owner and manager provide great communication, keypad room access, local food, shopping, and sightseeing recommendations. Also love all the personal touches in each room. Thank you. Until next time. Check it out!

We called around 6pm on a Sunday already in Gardiner and they got a room ready for us in 5 minutes. We stayed in 101 on the first floor. The room was clean, nicely furnished, and both women we spoke to on the phone were kind and professional. Also- amazing rates!!! Something we were not expecting was a paranormal experience. If you’re into the otherworldly then I would recommend room 101 (we can’t speak for the rest of the hotel). Around 4 AM my partner and I were woken with a tall, large, masculine figure standing over the foot of our bed, reaching down to make contact with us. As we screamed he vanished. Easily the closest encounter I’ve ever had to an entity and a 15/10 experience overall I can’t recommend this place enough ❤️Noteworthy details: Paranormal Experience!!!

Shout out to my girl Tami, this hotel is everything. Each room is very thoughtfully designed, super quaint, and clean. Tami is very accommodating and the hotel itself is so close to Yellowstone. The rooms have a small kitchen equipped with cutlery, a microwave, little stove top, refrigerator, and basically anything else you could think of. My bestie and I went up here for a girl's trip and had a lovely time here.

This is our third time staying at the Park Hotel Yellowstone. My husband and I and our honorary granddaughter came to cross country ski and snowshoe in Yellowstone Park. The accommodations were fabulous as before! We were very comfortable and cozy in our rooms. And we love the atmosphere, ambience, and charm of the rooms! Tami and Cindy are such gracious hosts. We have already reserved our rooms for next year!Rooms: The rooms are charming, comfortable and clean!Nearby activities: Yellowstone National Park!Safety: The rooms have door codes rather than keys and lock automatically.Walkability: It is in a great location and close to restaurants and shops.

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at the Park Hotel. The hotel is at the edge of town and right at the entrance of the park. So much so, that every morning and evening we were able to view elk, prong horn and mule deer right out our window in the lot below our window. The room was very comfortable and clean. I loved the themes of the rooms and all of the personal touches which allowed us to relax not only in the room but also outside on the huge front porch or around the firepit in the yard. The manager was very attentive to our needs and questions. She would even text us and let us know where herds of elk were in town (such as elk grazing on the high school football field). The hotel was in walking distance of many stores and restaurants. Several of the restaurants has already closed for the season (we were there 10/02-10/09) but some were still open that offered good food and there was a small grocery where we purchased some things we could cook in our room in the kitchenette. I can't recommend this hotel enough! We had great views, quick access to the park and it was only a 15-20 minute drive to Mammoth. We plan on returning again and will definitely stay at the Park Hotel! We have already recommended this hotel to others who plan on visiting the park and staying in Gardiner.

We absolutely loved this hotel! We were planing on a day trip to the park and last minute decided we wanted to stay in Gardiner. I called in super last minute to see if there were and pet friendly rooms available because we had our dog with us. They were SO kind and helpful and got everything squared away for us right there on the phone. When we arrived that night it was very easy to find, excellent location to the park and the room was actually a suite! We had a full kitchen, fireplace, sitting area, bed and bathroom, all to ourselves. The hotel has so much character, being over 100 years old (there are some squeaky boards) and it was so cozy! There were plenty of blankets in the room and so many restaurants within walking distance. In the morning, we saw like 20 elk no more than a quarter of a mile from the hotel.Over all, AMAZING! We will be back any time we’re staying on the north side of the park!

The Park Hotel is THE place to stay in Gardiner. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this charming newly restored historic hotel located within walking distance to restaurants and the North Entrance to Yellowstone. Unfortunately, it was only for one night. Even so, we were able to relax and enjoy the large comfortable rooms with well-appointed decorations, fireplace, kitchen, and much more ! Flawless check-in with Magen and Tami communicating all necessary information and local suggestions. Thank you for a relaxing, authentic break from corporate hotels.. Highly recommend and we are looking forward to returning in the future.

One of the coolest places I’ve ever stayed. Felt like a weekend at grandmas house (if grandma lived 100ft from the world’s first National Park). Special shout out to Cindy for the little birthday surprise left in my room. I’ll be back!
