We spent two pleasant nights at 406 Lodge in July while on vacation. 406 is conveniently located in a building that looks as if it was converted into a small inn. We had a first floor room.The room was much larger than we expected. It was simply appointed with appropriate cowboy decor. A small kitchen with a sink, small fridge, and microwave was located at one end of the room. It was equipped with the basics. The bath offered plenty of fluffy white towels and the bare minimum of toiletries, Over all, the room was comfortable and squeaky clean.There was no manager on site, but we had no problem reaching him when we had a question. The location was quiet, but we were in Gardiner when their entrance into Yellowstone Park was closed, so the town was essentially dead.We had no view from our room, but perhaps the folks on the second floor did.

Great experience! We stayed for one night and really enjoyed the space. Our room was very clean, the linens were nice quality, and the furnishings were tasteful. Bed was comfortable and was a great way to relax after a long day of hiking and adventures. I wish there was a little dining table and chairs in the room, but we only stayed one night so it was fine. We would definitely stay again if back in the area!

my friend and i stayed here for a few days in late september. the room was very clean, well-appointed, and was spacious! the location in town was great! walking distance to basically everything. only issue from my perspective is the noise from the guests upstairs. they weren’t loud, its just you can hear when they walk, use the sink/shower, or flush the toilet. this will be challenging for light sleepers. otherwise had a great stay!

What a amazing week we had at the 406 Lodge Cabin ! The cabin was so comfortable, cozy, clean and was so easy to make it home our for the week. The 100 year Flood at Yellowstone National Park did not slow us down. This was our first time in Montana but hopefully not our last. Thank You to “The Knight’s” for all of your hospitality ! You are wonderful hosts !

I loved my 8 day stay at the 406 Lodge. The rooms are large, well decorated, well equiped, very comfortable, very clean and new. The location if great. It's a block to the North entrance of Yellowstone. You will be within walking distance to several restaurants. The owners are great. I think it's the best place to stay. I saw these guys right outside my door one day when returning from the park.

Best beds ever. We took a risk on Lodge 406 when we were at a bad hotel in West Yellowstone. My husband only slept 2 hrs the night before in a really bad bed and in order to keep everyone happy we booked Lodge 406. They are a new Lodge but decorated with a rustic feel. We opened the door and were amazed at how spacious it was. The headboards were made of barn board from the owners Grandma's barn from Georgia. South charm out west! Loved every minute. Seriously the best night of sleep on an 8 day whirlwind epic family vacation.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here at The 406 Lodge! The owners and staff made it apparent that they were here to serve us. The rooms were extremely clean and decorated to perfection! I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone staying in Gardiner. I loved the view of Electric Peak from the terrace, and the ease of accessibility to Yellowstone.

Such a cozy place! I can't imagine a better place to stay in Gardiner, it just has the perfect mood for Yellowstone, super comfortable and nice.Nearby activities: Gardiner is very small, you can walk everywhere or ride 2 minutes.

Great place! Comfortable beds, clean bathroom and kitchen, nice views! And I was able to plug in my car which is a win! The only improvements would be installing 14-50 outlets so people can charge their car faster and explore more of the area. Also, more hooks for towels and things!

We stayed here while we were at Yellowstone. It was a very nice place to stay, both in condition and in location to Yellowstone. Gardiner has a grocery store and good restaurants, and VERY easy to get into Yellowstone from here. Our cabin was pretty much new, and was built well. It was very clean and completely ready when we got there. They even had some silverware, plates, etc in the cupboards so that was a great surprise.There is also plenty to do in Gardiner, I suggest a Gradiner whitewater, horseback ride and/or ziplining as a way to take a break from all of the tourists and traffic in Yellowstone.
