Very clean and very informative for a small town. A lot of displays showing the past and present animal life along with material used in the making of the dam.

Very helpful staff. I tripped and fell (my own fault), and they came over to make sure I was okay, even offering ice packs. The displays were interesting and well placed. The restroom was clean and well stocked.

Interesting place with plenty of information about the history of the dam, as well as some paleontic and prehistoric information about the area (including some dinosaur replicas), wildlife in the area and the Lewis & Clark expedition. Three films are shown (one on the building of the dam, another on the Lewis & Clark Expedition, and a third on the CM Russell Wildlife Refuge). This would be a great place to start a trip through the area, of you have never been.

Excellent tour of the dam. They take you inside...you get to actually touch the spinning turbine shaft. The power of the water is incredible. Well worth your time. Only downside is, no cameras are allowed. The interpretive center is also top notch.

Best interpretive center/museum I have ever been to. First place in my life to feel all the pelts of mammals found in this region!

We have been fishing Fort Peck for several years now. Today we got blown off the lake and finally had a chance to take the Power Plant tour. It was fascinating. Our guide was an extremely personable and knowledgeable young man. I would definitely recommend taking the time to go through both the Interpretive Center and taking the Power Plant tour.

I only got to do a quick walk through here, but it was really neat! It's nice inside and there's lots to see and read. There's also some nice walking trails, play ground, etc. The dam is a MUST see!

Very informative with good input from ranger on site. Displays are well laid out and we learned a lot from dam building to dinosaurs. Not many guests, so social distancing was a snap.

Great exhibits of dinosaur fossils found in the area, Northeast Montana wildlife, and construction history of Fort Peck Dam and powerhouses. Friendly and professional staff. Sue Dalbey does an excellent job with the center.

Very nice educational center located at the foot of the dam. Certainly worth a visit and worth a look up the face of the dam while you wonder just how much water is being held back......

Small, but free and fabulous. I am very pleased that we decided to take the 20-minute detour from our trip on highway 2.
