Had to have a 34 hour reset, and I’m glad I chose this place to do just that! Matt and Brandee are incredible people. They made this experience hassle free! They came by on my last day here to collect payment, and allowed me to choose my own comfort. They were more than willing to let the swamp cooler run all night, as long as I cut it off before I leave. I stay in a hotel every night, this motel has topped my charts! I will stay here again! The Spotted Dog and the little fuel station are both within walking distance. For other travelers needing Wi-Fi or cable tv, you won’t find it in your rooms. But they do have a spot on the western end of the units if you need to access Wi-Fi. They do provide a VCR and about 60 VHS movies in each room! Bed is more comfortable than some of the high end hotels. Hot water, fridge, and microwave at your fingertips! This place and Matt and Brandee are more than accommodating! Highly recommend giving it a shot!Thanks, Matt and Brandee!

Had the privilege of working near Elliston for a couple weeks. We chose the Last Chance as our home base and it didn't dissapoint. I stayed in one of the single rooms and the rest of the guys stayed in the Bungalow house. Very clean, comfortable, and reasonably priced. Beds were very comfortable. Even though the rooms are dated, it didn't affect our comfort. The guys took full advantage of the full kitchen and facilities during their two-week stay. There is a small store in town and they also went out of their way to accomodate our needs. A very friendly community nestled in some very pretty country! We will stay here again.

Loved this little slice of heaven.It wasn't overly fancy, and you won't be blown away by luxury. But this place has charm. And the rocking chairs on the front porch are great for watching the trains go by.The room was clean, and the price was right.

A real delight. Nice people, comfy and cozy--good value for the $--way, way better than the anonymous corporate chains.
