We stumbled upon Dillon to get coffee while driving from Jackson to Seattle. We noticed a welcoming space--this Patagonia Outlet. Everyone there was helpful, and authentically ascribed to Patagonia's ideal that Earth is our only shareholder. Many thanks to Beth, and others there, for outfitting us, and creating a warm and safe place.

Can’t thank Amy enough for the help today. Somehow knew the inventory extremely well, was incredibly helpful and all while being incredibly kind. Another reason Patagonia is essentially the only brand I wear. Thank you Amy!

Patagonia is a great company with a mission statement to save the planet. Patagonia gives away 98% of its profits to environmental causes to fight climate change and to protect underdeveloped and undeveloped Wild areas. There is a non-profit and a trust created to receive its profits of approximately 100 million per year. It's products are well made and often made of recycled materials. It's corporate governance as well as its approach to his employees is Rock Solid. That said the outlets have limited supplies of discontinued items seconds or last season's products. The prices are marked down substantially although when you start with a typical Patagonia product it's usually pretty expensive so even the markdowns are certainly not thrift store level prices. Everything is new but unless you're an extra extra small or an extra extra large your selection may be limited. They will look on their computer if you can't find your size and will ship it to you from another outlet location for free, if it's available somewhere. They also typically have first run items for full price.

Totally unexpected to find in Dillon Montana. The best and most current of Patagonia gear and clothing. Everything points to Patagonia being a very socially responsible company. Also great deals on last year's overruns.

I go through Dillon frequently on my travels down I15 and love stopping here. Sometimes the deals are good and sometimes they are fantastic. I love patagonias gear and ethos and appreciate a good deal to top it off. Staff is always helpful and store well laid out. They have a lot of variety but not necessarily the latest and greatest you might see at the standard retail store so if you are looking for something specific might be worth a call first but if you aren’t picky and just need good gear, this is the store for you. And no sales tax in MT, that’s a bonus.

Patagonia is a great company, and I love supporting them. Luckily, I also love the quality of their clothes and outer wear. The outlet has some incredible deals and even carries plus sizes for women now!

Awesome store with great products and deals! The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Jessica was wonderful in helping me find the jacket I wanted over the phone and shipping it after I left the store and wasn't able to make it back before leaving town.

Was born and raised in Dillon and rode my motorcycle up from Idaho to visit my brother. I always go in when I come back. I went in specifically looking for some riding gear for late spring riding. Everyone that I came in contact was top shelf and very nice. These ladies are what customer service is all about. They held some merchandise for me while I went back to get my other riding gear to make sure if all would work together. Came back tried everything on and purchased a ton of other stuff. Due to fact that I was on my motorcycle and had no room to pack the extra stuff, I was planning on going to the post office and mail all the extra stuff back home. They offered to ship 4 items back to my house at no cost, winner winner chicken dinner. They make Dillon proud and I purchased @$1100 of stuff for $500. Taking them donuts this morning because it was such a great experience.

UPDATED 8/31/22. My original review was 4 years ago and they are still as fantastic. We live in Idaho and made the 2 hour trip just to go shopping here. On our most recent trip we got a great deal on a jacket, another best, a bunch of shirts and another lightweight jacket. Love stopping here when we pass through. They always have great sales, the employees are great. They will check the online prices to make sure you get the best price. I picked up a great jacket and vest. Easy to get to. Don't miss it.

Only place in town for really warm jackets and ski apparel. Sizes on clearance items are usually XS or XL, bummer if you're a M. Best time for sales is right before season changes, 50% off all, and there are M's. Friendly staff, at checkout one of the staff noticed a hole in my non-Patagonia jacket and offered to stick on an adhesive patch. Thanks!!

Always bustling during Ratpod weekend. I think it is incredible that they are part of the registration each year. They have a wide range of clothes too and you can find some amazing deals on "flawed" pieces. Of all the items I have purchased here, I still can't find where the flaw is. The staff is always friendly here and they have an inviting atmosphere for all patrons.

Awesome little store! Easy to find, decent selection on gear, helpful staff. They're sales section always seems to be worth digging through. Their gear prices are marked down considerably, but I'd still recommend going during one of their store-wide sales.

Incredible find in Dillon Montana. My salesperson was so helpful; she actually knew what each fabrics function was and which situation it was for. I unfortunately didn't get her name, but she is a little older with a long ponytail and glasses! It is rare to find someone as knowledgeable about what they are selling, and tries to make sure that your purchase is exactly what you need, not just selling you the most expensive!

Ok, it’s an outlet so you don't expect to find the full range of goods, but unless you're a very small or very large human there is no reason to stop here. Prices are also all over the board, including many things that are selling at full retail price. Even the discount prices are nothing special, online sales are just as good. There is no signage on the racks identifying them as men’s, women's, or children's, so for the things that aren't obviously one style you have to look at an individual item tag to see who its for. The staff largely ignore the customers, not that i need much but generally in most stores they at least greet you in some fashion. I like Patagonia’s gear and mission but this place was surprisingly disappointing on all fronts.

Attended a gathering here for Montana Wilderness Association's Southwest Chapter last night.. it's very lovely for this facility to graciously host community gatherings such as this. Of course the store is full of wonderful stuff, and I did see some good deals.

Patagonia first off is my favorite company on the planet. I dream to work for them or with them one day, but for now I am a loyal customer and advocate. This outlet though is a hidden gem of beauty, I was able to score a coat I’ve wanted for years for literally 75% off because of a small patch. It is my favorite coat. I definitely happened to be there at the right time and was able to catch a sale on the first day. But I found some awesome stuff.They also carry a much larger quantity of what is available online. The store is pretty large and so they have all the work wear clothing as well as all of their active wear and athletic apparel.

I don't normally buy expensive clothes, but I came here for this big sale for some snowmobiling clothes. They were cheaper than wal mart! I have worn the jacket all year and it still looks brand new! Come to their sale if you want to see value!

Was greeted by a mask enforcer with a terrible attitude. I would never purchase from a company who treats its customers this way. My wife even had a mask already and they associate tried to make her wear a different one! Very poor experience.

I got caught up in a crazy sale and somehow misplaced a hat that my daughter had fallen in love with. I called to see if they could find it. I was called the next day when it was found and was even offered to have it shipped for free! Wonderful customer service and great products!

This used to be an outlet -- a fun, funky, overstuffed bonanza of great product and great buys. Now it has one-tenth the product, presented like a regular store and mostly NOT outlet products and NOT good prices. I have a lot of Patagonia in my kit, but it's been a long time since the price to benefit ratio made it worthwhile to add to my inventory.

In June 2021, just about the last place in Montana clinging to the mask mandate. Not sure of the logic. I suppose if this shop was the only place in Montana a person visited in a fortnight, that person would feel protected. So, great place for the hypothetical person to shop.
