I love this lady, she is an amazingly caring veterinarian and I seriously don’t know how she handles so many animals, constantly getting up all hours of the night to meet her clients and their furbabies! You can tell animals are her passion and she is very fair and considerate regarding pricing! All three of my dogs go to Ethel and she even met us late at night when we thought our big dog wasn’t going to make it, she was so weak from vomiting all night! Lo and behold, the next day she made a turnaround and we were so grateful and thankful for Ethel being there in such a scary time for us as a family! I will never go anywhere else as long as I own any pets!

Grass Winds is probably the best Vet Clinic around. They have help a lot of family’s with there pets and livestock . I know since I’ve owned animals Ethel and the team has taken care of my pets from shots to when operations where needed. Some times they do emergency’s on weekends if you leave a voice mail they will get back to you. Since COVID-19 they have made accommodations to work with the pubic and honesty it really hasn’t changed just have to wait outside which is not a big deal thanks Ethel and Team for your contributions to our family’s pets.

My pup wound up with a fishhook in his lip late on a Friday which was the start of a holiday weekend. Ethel was the only one who I could reach as it was getting close to midnight. To put it mildly, she really came to the rescue. She met me at the clinic and gently sedated him so the procedure was not traumatic. She was done in a few minutes and reversed the sedative so he was alert and ready for the ride home. Great care from a really skilled practitioner - 5 Stars all the way. To top it off, she was also incredibly fair with the billing. I felt really blessed and fortunate - she was absolutely there when we needed her.

The Doctor at Grass Winds is always so caring and innovative. My puppy was hit by a car and she took him right in. She knew the required surgery had a small chance of being successful. She was able to assess his injuries quickly and with compassion. He still has all four legs and is able to play and run with any other dog because of GrassWinds. Their prices are more than fair and they work for the best interest of the animal. I've taken my Rabbit, cats, and two dogs there for regular appointments and emergencies and have been so greatful for the care they receive.

We had an emergency with one of our shop cats. We normally take our animals to a different vet, but that vet had not gotten back to us and we needed to get our cat in. We called the number for Grass Winds and I thought we were going to have to leave a message and wait for someone to get back to us. Instead, someone actually answered and told us to bring him in in a half hour. She was super great with him and he warmed right up to her despite feeling under-the-weather. She cares for animals like they are her own. Despite our cat not making it due to complications of his injury, we feel that he could not have been in better hands. The prices can't be beat, either. Definitely taking the rest of our animals there! Highly recommend.

It's a cheaper vet but your not guaranteed good service. My dog was killed and she was confused which dog was mine. He was perfectly healthy just had an upset stomache. She gave him too much IV fluid and his heart collapsed. She takes on alot of animals meaning there isn't goood quality of care. My dog is gone from her negligance.

Excellent service. While visiting from out of town, our dog had a seizure. Although they were closed for the evening, Ethel opened her doors to us and helped with our pup. Great folks with big hearts.

Our collie cross dog managed to find a porcupine on Saturday morning. We could not get the quills out, local vets gone over weekend. Drove an extra 20 miles and Dr. Ethyl was able to meet us at her clinic. Within an hour our dog was out of his misery and on the way back home to the farm The vet was professional, especially personable and happy to help us out. She knows her stuff—would highly recommend her! Delightful office with sweet cats and a bird too. 😀

We are new to Cut Bank and we were nervous about finding a vet for our chihuahua’s. I ended up on a desperate search at 11 pm Wednesday night because one of our dogs started vomiting prefusely. He is a high maintenance little guy currently on long term treatment for heart failure. Anything such as this is very serious for him. By the time I found Grass Winds online, our dog had thrown up 11 times. We were worried about disturbing someone so late at night but knew we had to do something. Dr. Ethyl answered and talked with me for almost 30 minutes about our situation. She was very polite, kind and helpful even at 11 at night knowing she had to be up early. She gave us careful instructions and things to watch for for dehydration and told me if conditions worsened to call again and she would get up and meet us at her clinic. She also scheduled to see us first thing in the morning. Dr. Ethyl was such a rescue and relief for us the other night! We got to our appt the next day and had a wonderful experience. While walking into the office I stopped and asked another couple also walking in with their dog what their experience has been w Grass Winds. They said love Sr. Ethyl and they wouldn’t go to anyone else and she has been wonderful to their pets. Since our visit the other day we’ve talked twice and she has made sure to get an update on our dog’s condition.I see some negative reviews and all I have to say is Dr. Ethyl is one person. If she has to turn us away sometimes I’m certain it is out of exhaustion and needing to set reasonable boundaries for her life. Everyone deserves that. To prepare for this my husband and I have come up with a back up plan but we will always turn to Dr. Ethyl 1st!

I would Refer anyone who has a pet in the family to bring them to Vet. Dr Connelly. I had an emergency and she had made time to meet me at her clinic after hours. The little Puppy I found and my lil nephew named him "Koda", couldn't walk because someone Had Hit him or Kicked him and broke his Growth Plate was surgically repaired and now has a new home where he will be able to enjoy his years and Huge Thank you to a Special Staff member who gave him the love a was very kind while Koda was recovering.Please I would like to say if anyone see's an injured per or animal to please call her, she will work with you and her kindness has me in tears.I live in Seattle and was in summer vacation when I came across little Koda. Brought my American Bully breed dog to get surgery to remove a blockage of bones and grass in his stomach that was making him sick in his stomach but instead she wanted to try and make him pass it on his own and in doing so killed him by tearing his stomach and didn’t do the surgery like we asked and said we would pay for!
