Absolutely moving! What a deep experience learning what happened there so long ago. Absolutely unnecessary and pointless. The memorial they’ve created really puts the warriors thoughts, words and deeds in a beautiful way.

An interesting memorial with a few signs to help you understand more about what happened here. The museum at the bottom of the hill has a lot more information so I'd suggest starting there. Many of the bodies that used to be buried here have since been moved to other cemeteries around the country, but this is still a nice memorial to the last major battle of this conflict.

Too cool, love history. Read your history the go. You have to wear a mask, so a big thanks to all you NON VAX people.Sad to think this was the end of the indigenous way of life. You need to remember the Hollywood movies aren’t a true account of what really happened. Those two days were when the real good beat the evil force. It was called Custard’s last stand, he got what he described. It truly was the the indigenous people who had the last stand. There first and last victory over the conquering army. They got pushed into someone’s else’s idea of how they should live.We need to remember our history so we don’t repeat it.

The staff is extremely knowledgeable about the battles, and did a nice job of sharing. The visit corrected my perception of this part of history. It added so much more detail to what I had understood.

Very interesting even if you're not an avid history fan. I thought the small, eclectic museum was especially intriguing. Remember your glasses for reading the documents behind glass. And there is a nice selection of relevant books in the visitor center. A little pricey though.

I visited here on the 146th anniversary of the battle. I was brought here after having read Custer's autobiography. Standing at this memorial, looking off to the S-SE, I could see the river fork out from which hundreds of braves bore down on what was left of the 7th Cav. I looked off at the wooded ridge to the north, & wondered if they must have looked back & considered in desperation retreating back to there.Powerful place.

Definitely a must see! So educational. Helps you to really understand what happened at the battle of little big horn from both the points of view. Makes me really appreciate our native Americans & just a little of what they actually had to go through to fight for their families, freedom,& rights!

Right off the freeway and easy to get to. It's a somber place with little white headstones all over the hill marking where Custer's men fell. There's also a memorial for the braves who died at the battle. Try to catch the narration by a ranger for added perspective.

Very good and well kept memorial with marked graves/headstones for where both the 7th Calvary and Sioux and Cheyenne Indian warriors have fallen scattered alongside the hills. The nearby Indian memorial is also a must see.

One of the most amazing places in the U.S. I've ever been! You don't need to travel overseas to visit incredible places. We have some right here!

Absolutely loved all the memorials here, as well as the landscape. No one will ever be able to repay the Lakota, Cheyenne, and Arapaho Indian tribes for the damage inflicted by the 7th Cavalry on Little Bighorn. The 7th Cavalry also destroyed the reputation of the Crow Indian tribes by lying to them, and betraying them in the end.

Got chills being at this historic monument. Think about the soldiers and the native Americans who battled hete. Think about their troubled spirits and pray for them all. An awesome chapter of American history that you must see!

A bit of history where the soldiers didn't win. So interesting to see and imagine the sights and sounds of the battle. Has a cell phone audio tour. Rangers available to answer questions.

Went for a visit... To see what Custer saw... He must have thought.. "What have I done?". So worth a visit and trail walk.. awesome museum.

One if the Park Rangers was seemingly having a bad day and was not very professional. Interactions with other park staff was great and professional.

Little Bighorn Battlefield National Monument preserves the site of the June 25 and 26, 1876, Battle of the Little Bighorn, near Crow Agency, Montana, in the United States. It also serves as a memorial to those who fought in the battle: George Armstrong Custer's 7th Cavalry and a combined Lakota-Northern Cheyenne and Arapaho force. Custer National Cemetery, on the battlefield, is part of the national monument. The site of a related military action led by Marcus Reno and Frederick Benteen is also part of the national monument, but is about 3 miles (5 km) southeast of the Little Bighorn battlefield. It was a very crucial battle.
