Had the pleasure of stopping by for a quick lunch on our way from Yellowstone. What an amazing place. The views were incredible, and the food was great. We tried the kimchi taco, el papi taco, and the shredder. The kimchi taco had a lot of steak and the cheese ingredients complemented each other. Over this is an excellent place to get an outstanding meal. We certainly recommend. Don’t forget to buy a sticker!

We had just finished Beartooth Highway heading to Yellowstone, we had our dog with us so needed outdoor seating. Spotted Wooka’s Wild Eats, and it was the delicious!! Nice twist on Tacos. The Lime aioli on The Rookie was yummy. Hubby especially loved the nicely seasoned beans. Tacos were a big hit, next time through we will stop again!! FYI, no indoor seating, it’s outdoor tables or to go.

Definetly not fine dining but well done fresh food at a solid price. Dishes were all made to order from scratch with great ingredients. A refreshingly honest place to eat in an area where tourists are often over-charged for moderate meals. The owner and his daughter who was helping were attentive and gave a great end tonour long day in tge park.

Absolutely first rate!Stopped over for a quick dinner on our way into Yellowstone. The decor was certainly what one would consider unconventional but the reviews were so good, I had to give it a go...I can see why this place is so well reviewed. I placed my order with the very friendly person behind the counter and a few minutes later I was eating One of the best tacos I've ever had - one that also just happened to be vegetarian. They also had their own house-made salsa which tasted fantastic.Would strongly recommend this place.

This place made my day honestly. What a surprise. Probably the best burrito i’ve EVER had. Such a small and unassuming place. Ordered a Burrito with egg, sausage, beans, onions cheese and salsa. The lady seemed to make absolutely everything from scratch and it showed. Damn that salsa was good. I cant thank them enough; I had a long drive to Bozeman and this lunch was a highlight. Highly recommend Wooka’s, will be back annually when we come into town. Just got hungry writing this.

Staying in Cooke for the season and Wookas has some of the best, freshest food in town. Affordable, too! Ordered the Santa Fe and will be back for more. They do breakfast items all day too. Great, fast service & awesome ingredients.

I’ve stopped at Wooka’s every time I’ve swung through Cooke City this summer, and somehow it gets better every time. The employees are sweethearts and the time and care they put into every meal is evident. The menu is unique, the prices are great, and the atmosphere is fantastic. Highly recommend!Vegetarian options: It can be hard to find good vegetarian options around Yellowstone, where most restaurants stick to things like bison meat. I SO appreciate Wooka’s for having such fantastic vegetarian options. The cauliflower tacos are my favorite— whoever came up with those knocked it out of the park!

Wooka's catered dinner for my small wedding at a cabin in Cooke City and knocked it out of the park! The food was amazing - fresh and so flavorful - and my guests are still raving about how tasty it was. They were easy to work with, flexible and creative, and proactive about making sure they were hitting our wants and needs. Great by any standards, but we were especially grateful for such a wonderful experience in a small, remote town with limited food options and known summer staffing shortages! Thank you, Wooka and team!

At the end of a long day in Yellowstone, Wooka's was a delicious and comforting way to end the day. At the walk up window, they were very accommodating in our orders which is much appreciated. The "Shredder" pork burrito was fantastic and not in a conventional manner. I think it is a "must try" on the menu.

I really hope that they do well because they seem to try so hard. Still, for a $6 taco I expect a larger portion and the beef pieces were terribly chewy. Ground beef was much better but still tasted like a commercial spice mix that comes in a box. My wife liked the pork. The beans were crunchy, a terrible faux pas. Coconut water was a small container for $4 and they still put that tip prompt on the credit card machine which is kind of insulting.Parking: There are approximately 3 dedicated spots

The man at the window was so high he was unable to answer questions. I asked twice about whether the salsa, guac, or sour cream were extra charge. My friend had ordered prior and we were confused about how expensive her total came to. On the second time, he only looked at me and shrugged, and gave a strange half committed head toss that I now know after my bill arrived, meant an extra charge for both salsa, sour cream, and guac. Considering I ordered a main entree item, I would have thought a side of salsa to accompany would have been provided without charge. The mamacita is an overpriced, dry, and flavorless fajita plate. Seriously, don’t bother. Go get a better meal down the street at one of the cafes. This “meal” was pricier than a salmon plate at beartooth cafe.

Was the last place open for dinner in the city. Glad it was. While I’m not a fan of “creative” tacos, these were excellent! I would highly recommend this tiny Restuarant to any Yellowstone traveler. Friendly service. The flavor combo was fresh and left me wanting another two!

Best meal we had during our time in Cooke City! There was a bit of a wait for the food, but that is because it is FRESH! They were out of the watermelon juice and I got mango instead. WOW! The mango was soooooo good even my picky toddler drank it!We had a mix of different tacos, and all were absolutely wonderful. The Steve-O sauce is HOT! BEWARE! But it has excellent flavor!

Wooka’s wild eats has the best tacos and burritos. The freshly made chicken Santa Fe taco and G burrito were so tasty after a long day in the park. We were attended by a small girl who made sure our order was perfect and kept us updated as the food was getting ready. Thanks!!

It was about $70 to feed the family and the portion sizes where pitiful, also looked like a Macdonalds fast food worker could have done a better job putting the meals together as there was zero care put into any sort of asthetics for the food. The man at the counter (who donned a very peculiar beard) had very red eyes and seemed stoned. He also had an extreme attitude even after a 20% tip. I am 99% Sure the guy serving the food was actively high on something or stoned because he had telltale bloodshot eyes which usually signifies recent drug usage and was agitated with my whole family. Please don't bring your family here, there are many other better family-friendly suited options in town. The man at the window really destroyed the whole atmosphere (unless they where going for an under-the-viaduct type atmosphere?), the service was sub par at best, and the food was hastily assembled with low effort and had extremely small portion sizes. The man had red bloodshot eyes and was agitated in a specific way (not much else causes this combo except for drug use) and his composure greatly increased when serving two young woman. Conversely he seemed bitter when serving a family. The food was OK but the beef brisket sandwiches where unsightly and quickly assembled with small portions.Parking: To clarify they have street parking but I ended up having tp use another business's parking. Also they make you walk a quarter of a mile just to go to the bathroom (the bathroom to the local museum???). Where I am from, businesses that serve the public must provide a bathroom so I was not used to this.Kid-friendliness: Due to the experience would not judge the place to be kid friendly.

Fantastic tacos and salsas. Also, they were super friendly and helpful. Grab a beer from the general store next door and enjoy it with your tacos!
