Cute and cozy coffee store with some snacks like breakfast bagels and cold cult sandwiches. We got bacon egg and cheese which was nice and had generous amount of bacon. They have some books in the store you can buy while waiting and also a small outdoor seating area. Service can be a little slow when busy. Waited about 20 or so minutes I’d say for 2 sandwiches.

A quaint coffee/deli place just outside of Yellowstone National Park's N/E entrance. It's a great place to grab coffee and/or sandwiches before heading into the park or after exploring that side of the park. The sandwiches are delicious and there are an assortment of pastries to choose from. Plain (or fancy) coffee available for tastes. It's a very comfortable setting with seating available outside during the warmer months.

It's a small, cozy locally owned cafe at the foot of Lamar valley. It was a nice rest spot. They serve milkshakes, ice cream, coffee and a couple of bakery food.Highly recommend the huckleberry milkshake. The best we've ever had, have been relentlessly looking for this flavor wherever we go, in vain so far!

Went Sunday before memorial, Cooke city was super packed with the gorgeous 3-day weekend. Lovely little place with a great atmosphere. It was crowded but the staff worked quickly. The inside has lots of books to look at while you wait. We just got coffees to go, but they tasted great.

Look no further, this is the place for coffee and breakfast. Super cool place to have a bite and sip some coffee or tea. Indoor and outdoor seating. The folks are super nice and the food is delicious. Try the sausage bomb. It’s sausage gravy baked inside a biscuit. I know, how ingenious. And it works. I liked the breakfast sandwich with bacon on a croissant. Plus the pastries are popular. Don’t forget to grab a sandwich for lunch on your hike. There’s some parking out front. But come on, it’s Cooke City, just walk over.

My wife and I ate breakfast at Cooke City Coffee today and it was excellent. I had the breakfast Philly on an everything bagel and my wife had breakfast sandwich with croissant. She also had a 16oz white huckleberry latte and I had a 16 oz cappuccino. Both were very good. The white huckleberry was not overly sweet as a lot of coffee shops seem to put too much sugar in the coffee. A place definitely worth stopping at.

Gorgeous quiet coffee shop. Excellent espresso coffee. Delicious food with great fresh vegetarian options. We had a beautiful breakfast here sitting outside in the sun with views of the snow topped mountains before a day exploring the park. Can't rate this place highly enough!

I had a caprese sandwich and a chai latte. Both were amazing! At the recommendation of staff I had the caprese sandwich toasted, so delicious. I went back to the counter and ordered a snack to go to bring home for my husband. I’ll be back :)Vegetarian options: Multiple vegetarian options!

Awesome little spot right outside of Yellowstone! I was in dire need of a real coffee and breakfast and they hit the spot! Open early, before about anything else in town, this is such a gem. The food and coffee were both great, Gluten Free options available, and you can buy a book for camping while you're waiting!Vegetarian options: egg and cheese sandwich among other optionsDietary restrictions: Gluten free

This place was a welcomed treat. The atmosphere was very relaxed— something I had been craving on my trip. The breakfast sandwich (croissant with sausage) was delicious. Only complaint is that they do not offer water except to buy bottled water, which is wasteful. They offered to fill up my own bottle if I wanted, but I had parked on the other edge of town and seemed silly to walk all the way to get my bottle and walk back to eat. I had brought my own coffee mug with me, seemed silly to not have an option for water. I was thirsty and ended up taking my food to go as a result. Highly encourage the establishment to offer cups of water— even at a charge.

Great stop in late September, before entering Yellowstone, Wi-FI available (no Verizon in Cooke City). Good breakfast food and friendly people.

I've been thru the Cooke City area many times. I'm not much of a coffee person, a random cup here and there so i had never stopped into Cooke City Coffee. On June 20th 2023, the Summer Solstice, I was on a trip to the area and I had spent well over a week following and watching wildlife in Lamar Valley. I was going to be leaving the area the next day so it was my last chance to drive the Beartooth on this trip. So having been out watching bears and wolves since 5am i stopped into Cooke City Coffee for a hot cup of decaf and some sustenance for my drive on the Beartooth. I'm a basic person and know nothing about fancy coffee drinks. I told the young man helping me that I just wanted a decaf coffee with cream and sugar. He recommended an Americana, I believe it was called. So i went with that and also picked out the last cinnamon roll and a piece of spinach florentine quiche for later. After I doctored my coffee and purchased a book I left for my drive. That cup of coffee was excellent! Now this cinnamon roll was pretty big, which was wonderful because I was starving. But usually cinnamon rolls that big are kind of dry or a little overbaked. Imagine my surprise when I sunk my teeth into absolute heaven covered with just the right amount of icing, not too much but not too little either. It was perfect, soft, and packed with flavor! I was totally impressed! Beyond impressed! Yes, over a cinnamon roll lol! So several hours later, it was quiche time. Oh. My. God. I'm gonna tell you what, if I could have made it back before they closed at 3 o'clock I would have bought the whole quiche lol! I'm not kidding, my next trip I'm going straight there before I check into my lodging and of they dont have quiche im ordering one. I dont care the cost, it is worth every cent! The crust was impeccable, the quiche itself was perfect texture. So flavorful, i was just torally impressed in every way. Its not often you find an establishment that checks all the boxes but they totally do! I can only be a customer a few times a year but you will absolutely have my business every time I visit the area. Well done, seriously! I love Cooke City and always enjoy my time there. I look forward to enjoying your wares again soon. ✌️💜

Amazing breakfast and lunch sandwiches (we went multiple times during our stay in the nearby Gallatin National Forest). Best coffee anywhere near Yellowstone. And amazing selection of children's books about the area. I had to resist buying them all. The owners were super nice and helpful. Wish there was one of these at Glacier.

Stopped by this place on my way from Red Lodge to West Yellowstone and it was amazing! Wonderful atmosphere with nice workers. My breakfast sandwich was delicious and my coffee was perfect to keep me driving. We sat on the patio to eat and it was a nice relaxing place to take a minute before getting back on the road. Only downfall is there’s no bathroom although they were very helpful to point out the bathroom in the visitor center right down the street.

Lovely shop! Wonderful atmosphere and decor and delicious Americano and Dirty Chai Breve! My husband and I were passing through while visiting Yellowstone NP and stopped for afternoon cups. So glad we did! The owner was delightful, and I could’ve spent hours browsing the books!

Delicious! Loved the Bison chili, The bagels were definitely cooked correctly. Coffee was good. Appreciated eating chili amongst all the books on the walls. The chili was thick, good amount of beans and bison meat. Best chili I have had on my Yellowstone trip, and I sure like eating chili!

First fantastic cup of coffee since getting to Montana. After 3 days of a severe caffeine drought, I saw this great new spot and stopped in and was blown away with everything from the friendliness of the owner, to the quality of the drinks we ordered. We will definitely return before leaving and would encourage others to stop in during their visit to this charming area.

One of the best coffee houses I've visited in the states! (Been to 38 states + counting) Staff is super great, and the seating areas are very cozy. Food options is limited but they do it well! Say hi to Waylon the good pupper if you stop by!
