Regrettably, my experience with this establishment is limited to the reservation process, as unforeseen weather conditions prevented my stay. The 15-day cancellation policy, albeit clear, proved challenging when our plans shifted due to the weather, prompting a call at the 7-day mark to explore cancellation possibilities.Despite acknowledging the policy, the owner, Kay, remained firm in denying our request for cancellation. Understandably, rules are rules, yet our attempt to transfer the reservation to individuals actively seeking a room faced resistance. Kay, acknowledging there was interest from potential guests, refused to allow the change, leaving our reserved space unused over the weekend. This situation resulted in a missed opportunity for positive customer service. While adhering to policies is essential, flexibility in these unique situations could have fostered a win-win scenario. Allowing the transfer could have not only salvaged our plans but also potentially attracted additional patrons to the establishment. The reluctance to accommodate a reservation transfer seems counterintuitive from a business perspective. By permitting the change, it could have generated revenue through potential dining expenditures and ensured customer satisfaction for both parties involved. Unfortunately, this business approach left two groups dissatisfied, and I, personally, out of pocket.Given the circumstances and the missed opportunity for a more customer-centric approach, I would suggest exploring alternative options when seeking accommodation.

Terrible customer service. I understand that the snow is bad everywhere and that makes business hard. But when a representative of a business speaks rude to two of my friends thats unacceptable. We tried to see if we could transfer the room to someone else who was attending a snowmobile ride in town and they wouldn't work with us. So the room will be fully paid for and empty. And not even a partial or one night refund.

We stayed here in May on our way to Alaska and then again in September on our way back to NY. This is by far one of my favorite places ever to visit. The cabins are just beautiful. Kay is an amazing owner who goes out of way to accommodate her guests. Her staff are likewise fabulous. Cooke City is a very cool town at the gateway to the nicest part of Yellowstone IMHO. Thank you Kay for welcoming all of our traveling companions this year - twice 😎See you on our way out next year!!Tim, Kim, Hannah, Murphy, Jed, Tom, Betty, Marilyn, Gale, Annie, Christine & Steve!Rooms: We love log cabin!Nearby activities: Yellowstone, Cody, Red Lodge are right at your fingertips.Safety: Never entered our mind.Walkability: The town is right there.Food & drinks: We were happy about all of the businesses in town being open.

We had a great stay at Antler's Lodge in Cooke City this winter for a snowmobile trip. Plenty of room to park trailers, and the location couldn't be more convenient to the trails. The cabin was super cozy, beds were extremely comfortable, kitchen had the basics, maybe could use a couple of things like S&P, paper towels, and more silverware, but overall we loved this place and will definitely be back!!

After a long 5 days on the trail... this was the perfect landing into civilian. Very cool and rustic, but very clean and comfortable. And the food, it was so good!!! And it's not because I'd been living off of freeze-dried food and Mountain Water for the last few days, it was extremely delicious and filling anytime. Five stars all the way.

Comfortable and affordable private cabins. The beds were comfortable, heating was perfect, and there was a HUGE (almost 70 gallon) water heater which was overkill for two people but nice to know we would never run out.Owners were very friendly and helpful- they had a couple very sweet Saint Bernard’s and Labs who were very sweet and welcoming too!

Just stayed for two nights in one of the updated cabins and had a wonderful stay! I used to always visit 10+ years ago with my family and was happy to see both the hotel and Cooke City were as I remembered them. Absolutely loved the updated cabins (we were in #5) and would definitely recommend to others, especially for larger groups or families! Thanks for a great stay.

We went to Antlers for dinner last night. The staff was very friendly. The croutons on my salad were soggy. I thought that was a little odd. My husband had the prime rib sandwich. It was two thin little pieces of meat on a big huge thick bun. One piece of meat was basically all fat. I ordered a pizza. It was good until on my second piece I found a hair in it. My son had the hangover burger. It smelled delicious. He said it tasted great!

If you want fancy, don't stay in Cook City. This little resort has small cabins that were cozy and clean. I can walk barefoot in the cabin and my feet stay clean. The fresh mountain air is wonderful. The view from my porch is breathtaking. The sheets are soft. Wonderful location in a cute, quant mountain town.

This was our first time staying in Cooke City and Antlers Lodge. We found our cabin to be excellent. The service was very friendly. We enjoyed ourselves tremendously. The lady next door said she didn't even hear our children when we met her. It was very cozy and clean.

Beautiful lodge in a very small town of Cooke City Montana. Very little cell reception if any at all. They do have Wi-Fi. The lodge we stayed in was number 7 and the only thing that I wish it had that it did not have would be a place to hang up clothes and or some kind of a Chest of drawers. Very close to the north east entrance of Yellowstone.

Management was friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Room was clean and beds were comfortable. This was our first time staying at the Antlers Lodge and I would recommend staying to anyone viditing the area. There are not that many choices for lodging in the area. I will book again.

We stayed for two nights in early July. The cabin was clean and cozy. Everyone associated with Antler's Lodge was very friendly and treated us like long lost friends. The new restaurant/tap room with 15 Montana beers on tap was great. I didn't think I'd find really good pizza in this small corner of Montana, but I did. Cooke City is a great little town and Antler's Lodge is a great spot to start your Yellowstone adventures.

We stayed at Antler Lodge on July 26, 2018. The room was clean and spacious. The beds were comfortable. The owners were friendly. Our 4 year old and 11 month old enjoyed playing with the puppy in the lodge. We would definitely stay there again.

Breathtaking, friendly, clean, we went for a wedding venue, it was amazing, the trout and chicken I rate a 20 that was prepared for reception , the decor was earthy and not over the top. The rooms were clean and affordable. Amazing friendly hardworking staff! Thank you we will be back!♥️

So this place gets its rating relative to what else is around. There's nothing glamorous about anywhere to stay that's as close to the NE entrance as Antlers. All the motels/lodges/cabins in Cooke and Silver-Pass are rustic. Additionally, there's nowhere to stay IN Yellowstone, near the NE entrance, that's not a campground. SO, this place is pretty nice, relatively speaking. Staff were very friendly. Cabins were adequate, ours had uneven floors and was drafty, but they have heat, wifi, Direct TV (if that's your thing in the mountains). It's about a 10 min drive to the park and not much more to get into the Lamar Valley. Why would anyone ever stay anywhere else in Yellowstone?!

The Antlers Lodge and Cabins is a wonderful place to stay that’s extremely close to Yellowstone NP and the Lamar Valley. We were supposed to stay in Cody, but due to some delays in the NP we had to stop here in Cooke City. Zack, the GM, was closing up shop when we rolled up around 9pm and he stopped what he was doing and immediately began helping us get a cabin for the night! Zack even tried to help me contact the motel we were supposed to stay at that night since we did not have cellphone service. The cabin we stayed at was great! We had two beds, a cozy shower, a porch to sit outside and smell that fresh mountain air and a small TV with satellite service. While we had a wonderful experience and will stay here again, there are a few things I would recommend that the hotel do in order to enhance their guest experience: (i) fix the wifi so that every cabin can get a full signal and can easily get online; (ii) check the shower heads to make sure they are working, ours was broken and needed to be replaced and (iii) consider larger, more updated TVs ( I understand that people staying there may not watch a lot of TV, but I think it would be a nice touch if the TV were at least 40”). Again, I cannot stress how much we loved the cabin and Zack for being extremely helpful and attentive to our needs! Highly recommend to anyone staying on this side of the park!

Great place to stay in Cooke City, MT. Have stayed in their new modern rooms and the log cabins. Rustic log cabins are comfortable with sun rise views over the mountains. New rooms are as comfortable as Cooke City's got. WiFi is spotty, but you're in a mountain village at 7600 ft a couple miles from the NE entrance to Yellowstone Park!

Didn't even get a chance to get a room. My husband and I were on our honeymoon and heard great things about Cooke City. We had come through the Beartooth and decided to go on through and explore the park for awhile. While in the park we decided that we wanted to go back to Cooke City to stay for the night and a meal. We chose to stop by and check out Antlers Lodge. I went in to get a room for the night and in the standing by the front desk was a woman who looked pissed off. After about 10 minutes of standing there, the host that was suppose to be at the desk appeared. The current guest and the host got into a huge heated conversation in regards to her suite that she had ( carpet was and stunk, issues with the drain in the bath tub and so on). The host was getting really angry and didn't want to do anything to make her stay any better. He told her that she already had a huge discounted rate and that it was the owners fault that the carpet was not replaced and not his and that it really did not stink that the guest was making it up. In the middle of this conversation the host also answered a phone call about someone looking for a room for 6. He was extremely rude to them as well. The current guest and host continued their converstation for about 10 minutes until I walked out the door and went to another establishment in town.

We stayed in a couple lodges here. The bathroom doors were an issue in each. One would rub the carpet so much it was difficult to open. The other swung so freely it would slam with just a nudge. Otherwise it was a great rustic cabin experience. Some of the beds were lofts or bunk beds which could be difficult for some.

My sister and her husband rented a room at Antler Lodge in late June, 2016. Upon seeing the cabin, they asked the owner Kay to be moved as the place was desperately in need of renovation. The rugs were stained, the vinyl floors were shredded. It was depressing. The rate was about $150. This was night 1 of a 4 night stay. Kay showed them a smaller room in better condition and said they could move to this room in the morning. They agreed on this compromise. In the morning, Kay reneged and said that room was now unavailable and when questioned further she said the only room available was a similar run down room for more money. Kay then got very upset , and said she wasn't refunding a penny of their money for the remaining 3 nights. Kay stormed off. She returned and then ranted about how hard she works and that she was going to tear that cabin down soon. But, she did give my sister a credit card refund slip (for 3 nights)as she yelled at them to get out.If they could give no stars they would. My sister dictated this review
