Pretty much anything you need. Prices compare well against HD. Way better than driving all the way to Billings. Staff knowledge is good about what they have and where it is in the store. If they don't know where something is they find out not just send you on your way to wander.

Excellent small-town service. I get my hunting licenses here, they're supportive of veterans and our military, and the new ownership has done well with adding on to the business and maintaining friendly service.

Love the huge new store. Wow! They have almost everything.But I do miss Joe (since he retired and moved). Joe could find anything throughout the store.The staff at Ace are very nice and helpful.

Dear Sir/Madam,I am writing to express my extreme disappointment with the service I received at your Ace Hardware store in Columbus, Montana. I entered the store as a customer, hoping to purchase some items for a home repair project. However, my experience was completely ruined by an employee named Britney.Britney was extremely rude and disrespectful to not just me, but also to another customer in the line. She was unprofessional and used inappropriate language while dealing with customers. Additionally, I was shocked to see that she was being terrible to her coworkers as well. I hope that they will come forward and file complaints about her behavior as well.Moreover, I was extremely concerned about her lack of concern for public health. Britney never once covered her mouth while coughing. As a customer, I felt extremely uncomfortable.In light of her behavior, I request that you terminate Britney's employment at your store. It is not acceptable to treat customers and colleagues in such a disrespectful manner, and I believe that her behavior warrants immediate action.I hope that you will take this complaint seriously and take the necessary steps to ensure that such behavior does not occur in the future. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Nice place friendly people, clean. Fishing access, clean. Only complaint is motel can't get the Latino guest to keep the noise down. I guess its all over USA soil.

These guys are so friendly and helpful, even if they don't have what you're looking for they will try to get it for you. Definitely the place to go if you're not sure what you're doing or what you need exactly, they will make sure you leave happy! What a great hardware store

This business is a asset to the town of Columbus. Need a box fan in January or a replacement lid for a trash can? They have a little of almost everything. Friendly employees also.

I had pulled up to this store after needing to do a repair on my vehical. The guy who helped me out was the coolest dude everx offering personal help on doing the repair. With his kindness I was able to fix the problem and make it home safely. I cant remember his name unfortunately but if he ever sees this, thank you!

Called at 9 in the morning to see if they could be of any help on a chainsaw issue, Justin(who is one of the owners I believe and is supposed to be good at chainsaws) told me to bring it down and he would check it out. I mentioned that I would not be able to make it till 1 and he told me he would be there. I drove 40 miles, made it there at 12:30 and was told he left for the day. I went on further, got my issues taken care of and also bought another chainsaw somewhere else.

Just moved to the area (Roberts MT) and this store is the closest to us. It’s awesome - very friendly staff and store is stocked full with products of all needs. Excellent tool selection, plus plenty of home repair supplies and decorations for setting up a new or existing home/cabin. They enforce the Covid-19 mask policy which I am all for it.

I like this store there are people that help you find things but the downside is this store is too far from where I live and there is a store in Red Lodge but they aren't as friendly then the Columbus store

TERRIBLE SERVICE. Me and My Grandson, Caleb, have been painting the cabin I bought this last summer over the winter and EVERYTIME I've sent my son and grandson down here to buy paint they've come back to find out that the employees gave them the WRONG paint. We've given them 3 chances but they always dont know what they're talking about or doing so were just going to have t o rough it out and make trips to the city which isn't fun for me to have to deal with with with my arthuriteis, driving that long really wears me out. That young man there, I think his name was standley, was really nice though when I met him and very helpful.
