I have been coming here for awhile and I would go here instead of any other hardware store around. Even when the prices would be more here I still would go just because I did get good service. Today ruined that all. I came in for some 2 amp fuses for my thermostat. When I got up to the counter I went into my pocket to get my wallet and got it out on the counter with my items. The lady told me right off the jump that every time I put something as in merchandise in my pocket it notifies the owner and his son. I thought that was kind of funny because it’s just not possible anyways. After she kept accusing me of putting items in my pockets which I didn’t do I emptied out my jacket pockets for her to see I had no merchandise in my pocket. She kept this up and mentioned another lady altercation basically telling me that I’m a thief and that they are watching me. I told her it’s very disturbing when she accuses me of stealing when I was only getting my wallet out. She kept saying that the owners watch the cameras and I told her that I hope the police do because I have not stolen anything. I also told her it would be wise not to accuse customers of stealing and imply that they are stealing that it has ruined the business I do there. I will not be returning after this embarrassing situation she put me in all because I had my wallet in my side jacket coat pocket. Maybe I should if kept my wallet in my back pocket so the cashier didn’t accuse me of being a thief. How ridiculous! Also when I was leaving she walked behind me to look out the window as she was getting my license number. I honestly hope the owner watches the camera to see what kind of person he has working for him. This place had that small town feel and was very helpful until all of this happened earlier today. I’m very disappointed in how this lady acted and I will not be doing business here anymore. I also will not refer anyone to go here either.

We were looking for folding lawn chairs a few months ago for a music festival in whitefish and my husband ended up locking the keys in our truck. It was closing time and we had 3 very kind men offer to help us get in. Not only was this after hours but it was also +30 out. They got us in and sent us in our way. Coming from a small farming town in canada, you get a little nervous travelling in the states hearing all the headlines but these 3 blew me away, in fact everyone in Montana was overly kind that trip. What an awesome community. I’ve forgotten their names by now but I just wanted to recognize their kindness. We went back the next day with treats but they were closed. Thank you

Awesome prices, friendly and helpful staff. The staff was willing to help me carrying everything to my car. Made suggestions on ways I could make my new 5 gallon buckets prettier. Advised me on some new plants I got. A great place to shop!

Great customer service. Very helpful and has a great sense of humor. They have a sign right inside the door that say, Be careful about following the masses because sometimes the M is silent.. 🤣 recently updated on the exterior.

The assistants and floor attendant were very helpful and professional about any questions we had we were also helped with every item we needed whether it was pricing or having the item in stock. The attendant also helped carry-out our purchases when we were ready to leave. Store clerks were very caring and used great customer service.

I love this store! Even when it was about to go out of business a couple of years ago and the employees looked sad, I would go in and try to buy something. The employees were always so friendly, I wondered what would happen to them after it closed. Now with new owners, amazing energy and clearly a cool buyer, the store is flourishing again. They have kept most of the employees and everyone is as helpful as ever. I can spend hours in here! Thank you to the new owners for obviously running a great business.

I don't usually go to this hardware store very often but Hansen's True Value has just about everything that you need when it comes to hardware supplies and tools. for me it's a great place to find tools that I need for my window cleaning

You can get anything here you can get all your tools and everything else here and true value you can get like nails paint brushes anything like that some bunch of tools and everything like that so this is really a neat place to get all your tools and stuff at your house it's really awesome and amazing thanks God bless
