The photos are deceiving. The staff were friendly and attempted to help, however this place was so bad that we left a night early.Nice to have laundry and bath, but were quite filthy and mildew in shower. Claimed to have full hook up, but wasn’t functional. We had to use dump station and it was positioned so campers had to back in.They told us when we reserved that they will discount our 3 nights by 10.00 because hookup wasn’t working…that never happened.Showed us amenities like horse shoe pits, but no horseshoes to use. Very close to busy highway and noisy. We couldn’t leave soon enough. It was close to beautiful road for biking.

So we got a pull through spot but arrived a bit late, they sent us an email saying we wouldn't have to sign in at the front so that worked in our favor. Wifi was awesome, creek is clear, your close to the hiway so quick detour. Negative is the facilities, went to have a shower and no hot water and it was not clean. Would have been nice to have that included in the email. There are normal rules for RV places, but there's a note about keeping your camp clean, I don't think they enforce that to much based o. The neighbor.

AVOID, AVOID, AVOID! this small seedy and noisy RV campsite trailer park is sandwiched between Interstate I15 about 75 yds to the west and a local access road to Clancy about 20 yds to the east it was almost perpetually noisy until maybe 10pm.We arrived about 4pm to find nobody in the office. And so we picked a reasonable looking site that had the power and water that we had booked for. As we were in mid-set up a site manager guy happened by and advised that the site we were in was premium site and would cost $15/night more than we had booked for. (I agreed, but perhaps that was because of the rifle alongside him in his SUV!). IMO check-in times for most day travelers would be between 3pm and 5 or 6pm and during these times there should be a person on site to direct campers.Anyway, later we had a look around at the “standard” sites and could see absolutely nothing over and above those standard sites that would make our site “premium” or worth $30 more for our 2 night stay. In fact a couple of them looked better than the one we picked. I THINK THAT WE WERE RIPPED-OFF FOR $30!!The site we chose was filled with wet soggy wood mulch chips but we didn’t realize how soft the ground was at the time. No gravel here. See pic.As for the restroom, shower and laundry, well! -getting through the door would cause anyone with poor eyesight or trying later in the evening without a flash light, considerable problem with the combination. See photo. The combo lock numbers were worn off and a pen or biro had been used to try and make them legible. They were not, but I eventually figured it out!Once inside, the shower and toilet looked disgusting and seemed that they hadn’t been cleaned or maintained/repaired in years. There was mold around the shower tub and cracks in it that has been ad-hoc repaired with some kind of sealant on which mold was now growing. The towel rail was gone and only its support clips on the wall evidenced that there had ever been one. See pic. I would not use the restroom/shower if you paid me. The whole laundry, shower, washroom is in dire need of a full make-over.We did not use the laundry equipment, but it looked very old too and I’d be very suspicious of how well the machines and driers worked.Stay at your own risk. After being on a road trip in the US for the recent past 6 weeks and visiting over 20 other RV campsites this is the worst we have seen and I certainly will not return to Alhambra RV campground trailerpark

The drinking water was brown, septic is on limited sites yet price is the same. Sites are small, close together and with a lot of trees which makes it difficult to wedge a 40’ 5th wheel into a spot. We were in L but no room for slides. Changed to 22 a/k/a L and it was angled better with less trees. The rear end of the camper hung over the creek. We onlyhad 30 amp service yet it advertises 30/50.It was extremely noisy as it butts up against an interstate and it’s so close you can see the vehicles go by. Heard traffic all night. It could be a nice place if everything worked and was larger. Even getting into the campground itself was tricky as you had to cross a bridge that barely fit the camper and appeared to be on its last leg. The lady across from us warned us about the water that it did tend to run out. Some campgrounds are a nice tap and go but not this one. Not one we’d recommend.

Great place to stay. The staff is friendly and you can tell they really care about treating their guests well. We stayed for a couple nights when passing though the area. It was nice to have somewhere relaxing to regroup before the next leg of our trip. There's a little steam that runs though the park so many of the campsites are right on the water. We also found lots of wild raspberries growing throughout the park while walking our dog. It has a nice mom-pop vibe that you don't get from the larger chain RV Parks. Short drive to Helena and a great option if you want to be outside the city. I'd definitely stay again.

Staying here was a good time. It's only 15mins from downtown Helena and right around the corner from national park land. There are some fantastic riding trails for dirt bikes and ATVs near by and the management is great. He'll give you maps to the trails if you ask. There is also a little stream that cuts through the park that you can fish in. So that's nice.

What a pleasant experience! My husband and I have stayed here twice already this summer. We love the park setting, the creek, and the beautiful trees. It's wonderful to see it is under new ownership of a couple who feel a passion for the park. They are so caring and helpful. They are knowledgeable about the area. The campground is one of the friendliest that we've ever stayed in. Yesterday we listened to campers on either side of us who were reluctant to leave because they said the campground offered such an enjoyable and relaxing atmosphere. We will definitely go back.

The owner, host and campers were very nice. We actually had a fine stay but understand what you are getting. The park has only a few full hookup sites and most sites are 30amp only. The one dump station is on the wrong side to dump when you exit the park and it has no water to wash off hoses or hands. The roads and some sites are very muddy after rains since they are dirt. The park is bordered closely by a road on one side and a four lane highway on the other which makes for lots of noise. There are two pit toilets with no running water. The office does have a single unisex bathroom with sink, toilet and shower. It definitely ranks down at the bottom of places I have paid to stay.

Stayed here for 2 nights in the middle of the week. The manager, Randy, gave us some great recommendations for things to do near by when we checked it. The sites were well spaced out and ours was creekside with good shade. Really appreciated that they had laundry on site and a propane swap since ours ran out when we were here!! Would definitely stay here again!

Best RV Park in the area by far. Services come with showers, and multiple bathrooms throughout the park. There's electric, water, sewer and tent sites. A stream runs through the park and there are a multitude of sites on on water. There are fish in the stream you can catch. The park is right off the highway so you can go to town easily and there's A LOT of nature in the area. The main building also has coin laundry and I've never had to wait for a machine. The main building has maps and pamphlets for trails to hikes and lots of activities nearby. This place can show you family friendly fun throughout the area. I HIGHLY recommend asking the owner about the area and he can point you to things you'd like. The shop sells RV and camping supplies and includes firewood, smores kits, icecream, candy, and camping friendly food. I've never seen litter in the park and deer will wander through in the morning. Plenty of room to hang out and have privacy from neighbors. There is a dump site you can use as well. Everyone's very friendly and I've been coming here for over a year. This place sets the standard and the service you get for the price is unmatchable. Reserving online is an option as well as in person and on the phone.

Randy was more than accommodating, generous with his time and supplies. What a blessing for our family of six.We decided to camp during a snowstorm and Randy went above and beyond making sure that we had heat and water extending every courtesy and assistance. We had a wonderful time by a lovely little river and a warm firepit. Can't wait to come back again!

Edit: Upgraded to four stars, mostly because the internet concerns seem to have been resolved. Just a quick one night stay this last time, but I like this little hole in the wall RV park.Three stars may not seem like much, but bear with me. I made the reservation knowing full well it's under new ownership, and that there will be many bugs to work out.Location: Maybe it works for you, maybe it doesn't. Conveniently off the interstate, so access is easy. No municipalities to drive through to try and find your park. Being next to the interstate on one side, and a VERY busy county road on the other side, makes for a noisy experience. If this is an experience you'd rather not endure, don't stay here.Hookups: Our site was a full hookup site, but there are only a few of them. Ensure your needs before you book. Some folks are fine with that, some aren't.Technology: The cable doesn't work, and you can't pick up broadcast channels in that area. The office will tell you the internet is good, and you can stream television, but our connection was poor. Maybe it was just where we were in the park, but receiving, and sustaining a connection just didn't happen for us. Cell service is spotty in there, so it's not good to rely on. I say these things, because sometimes you need to connect for business, etc., and it's good to know whether or not you can.It was in a very pretty area, with a small stream running through. Would we choose to stay there again? Without hesitation. Pleasant, and helpful folks running it.

RV park has really good management, with many many new upgrades! Well stocked convenience store on site, with select RV essentials on hand. Laundry room is great! Really pretty creek runs alongside property. Conveniently located right off of interstate, & there are also two really great restaurants located close by in Clancy!

Can't stay here if your camper is ugly.Looks are everything. Always judge a book by it's cover has always been good advice.I was never a customer because the owner asked for pictures of our camper and said nope, too ugly.

Stayed in the park for a week in September. Very rustic park. Even close to U. S. 15 you don't notice highway noise. Sue and Randy are more than hospitable. They go out of there way to make sure everything is good. They are in the process of upgrading all aspects of the park. I cant wait to come back next year.

This RV park is one of the few I've stayed at. That being said, the owner made checking in a breeze. The area was clean, just off the highway, and had power and water hookups. There were vault toilets, but nothing more. It looked like the park was under new management and it was a pleasure to stay here.

This place is awesome. There may be a few shortcomings that other's have been certain to point out. Allow me to point out what a great guy the owner (Randy) is and his efforts to make everything right for everyone (a near impossible task). We made late reservations to spend a week in the area during July as our daughter was getting married. Randy and Sue (the campground host) couldn't do enough to make sure that our stay was an enjoyable one. This place rocks. They're working on upgrades and I'm certain that we'll be back.

I read the reviews and didn’t expect much but missed any tips about the road noise from nearby highway before the crack of dawn and way past late at night — otherwise I would add a star or two as spaces are reasonably sized and upkeep is excellent. Get a space on the inside along the creek if you decide to try it.

We have been stayig here for 2 months now and have really gotten the feel of the place. Randy, the new owner, is great! He is very busy making this great place even better yet he still finds the time to be personable and helpful. The winter and spring was rough on this facility, (ie. Bumpy road and fishing bridge.) Randy and his camp hosts are hard at work fixing the damage and keeping the park clean. My only issue has been the WI/FI...he inharited the system from the privious owner and he has been actively improving the system. But, we are camping, sort of....let go of Netflix for awhile! I will stay again in the future and I'd recomend the place to anyone.

Awesome gem just outside of Helena Montana with a nice flowing creek filled with native brook trout. This little park has it all and it's safe friendly and affordable. Don't hesitate to stop here on your travels

We are returning customers. Every summer I take my family to Alhambra RV park to get away. We love staying at the park, because we love the new management since 2007 and the owners are very kind and very helpful. And I would like to let everyone know if you have kids and or parents, this is the place to be. We meet new families every year from all over the place. Thank You for being there for us! :)

Water is not potable, have to sign waiver as such so bring own water. Roads in park are just dirt. Lots of potholes and very soft and muddy with any rain. Electrical is falling apart. Site is lumpy grass field, no gravel or anything. Couldn't run aquahot as afraid it could catch grass on fire. Very run down and in need of basics like gravel and clean water.

Beautiful and peaceful. Had a wonderful time camping here. The owner and camp hosts were so very friendly and enjoyable. Stayed in a full hook up camp area that also included WiFi. Will definitely stay there again!

Clean, reasonably priced, lots of shade & greenery. Close to Helena. Daytime road noise but very quiet at night. Laundry, showers, downside: pit toilets.

Stayed 1 night in mid July & paid $35 w/discount. Clean park with no showers, no TV & weak Internet. Super host & owner! Easy in/out. Very near I-15, if that is a concern.

Primitive but pretty stream runs through the park. Between two hiways but noise quiets at night. Very few septic hookups reserved for full timers.

My in laws came to visit last summer and we all camped out in their rv. We had an awesome experience. The kids loved picking and eating the wild raspberries by the creek. My family will be returning. 😊
