Nice little independent supermarket, holding its own against the big box grocers in Shelby, Havre, and Great Falls. The staff are all incredibly helpful and friendly, the food selection in the grocery aisles are great, and Chops' makes great sandwiches. Highly recommend.

Chops the sandwich stand in the store is BOMB! One of the best wraps and sandwiches we've had in a while. Friendly staff and small town atmosphere! We will be coming back again for sure!!

For out of towners:Only go here if you desperately need to or can't make it to Havre or Shelby1. Staff are not friendly2. It's a small town, so it's not gonna be perfect, but the floor could be swept and mopped. The shelves could be wiped down atleast. A lot of the goods on the shelves has dust on them3. Check all of your foods before you buy it. It may be expired. Even if its not expired, still check it. The cheese I bought looked as if it had been left out for long periods of time before they put it in a cooler4. Has a gas station in it, but kinda confusing what is a part of the grocery store and what is for the gas station

From my understanding of the AP articles the owner deserves a hats-off salute to his response to the nearby Amtrak train derailment. Great community response as well. Give the town some business! (and other people and responders in the immediate area like, Joplin MT).

Chester Supermarket is always one of my stopping places along the Hi Line. They have a rustic feel and are yet modern. The restroom is always clean and you can find friendly people behind the counter.A favorite stopping place for train crews being transported by taxi and occasionally a conductor will venture across from the tracks.

Great small town store when you don't have time to get to the city. Large selection, in a small space. Its very convenient being on 2. And boasts a Hot Stuff franchise as well.Gas and diesel are also available at this location.

Sort of the crown jewel of Chester, this place is easy to spot. When driving through, I always stop in to get some hot food. It's always delicious and it's fairly priced. The fact that this is a grocery store too is icing on the cake.

Just stopping for a snack on my way threw. They invited me to try there feast they made for the customers, it was amazing! Great customer service, amazing people. Will stop every time I come threw.

Use to love this place and the ppl but they have changed they accuse ppl of stealing out of the blue I advise u to take your business elsewhere not to mention there prices are sky high they take advange of ppl shop elsewhere
