Worst service I have ever experienced. They would not deliver to my address. They claim severe weather for the last week which is completely false. It has been in the 40s and sunny all week. Could not speak to a real person always get automated and then hung up on. I would have gladly picked up my package or had it sent to another address if only I could speak to a real person. If they have issues with delivering to my address as I do live out of town, then they should contact me and not makeup false weather claims. Ended up having to have contact seller and have the item replaced - and sent to a different address.... this place is awful!

If you can ship your package any other way I would do it! I even paid extra to have a package delivered a certain date which was ignored and wasn’t even put on a truck. Then was told they couldn’t find my package. I’m surprised they have 3 stars suggest using other courier if you actually want to see your product!

The hospital sent a colon cancer screening kit to me but UPS returned it without attempting to deliver or letting me know I had a package for pickup. It’s an ongoing problem.

So, since my super awesome UPS delivery guy Jeff retired last year, I haven't had the best luck with deliveries. I've found that whenever my package status shows "Out for Delivery", it means it will be delivered the next day. I also now have issues with drivers going partway down my road and leaving my packages at my bridge, which is about 1/4 mile from my house down a winding driveway. Unless I get a text notification or head down the road, I don't even know anything's there. Also, since we live in an area that gets some high winds, lighter packages always run the risk of blowing off the road and falling 11 feet down into the creek below. None of the new drivers will even attempt my road if a snowflake falls. However, I do have to say that any time I've called or stopped in to the customer service center, the ladies I have dealt with have been amazing! They are super friendly and get my issues resolved immediately. Since I am writing this review for the customer service center and not the shipping grievances I have with UPS, I'm giving them 5 stars. And whatever she's getting paid, Angela deserves a raise.

In delivering my package UPS changed the delivery address without notifying or asking me (I’d have happily provided an alternative address) and delivered it to that unknown address, so obviously I do not have my package, and UPS has provided NO HELP in finding it other than “file a claim.” Yeah no, you’re going to have to do better than that.

This review is ups as a whole. I've had no interaction with the local employees. But UPS as a shipping company is absolutely incompetent. U get one star only because i can't give you zero. I've had several del shipped ups recently, not my choice, but EVERY time, i get worked over. They're late, they don't show up at all, they mark del when they are not. Me freight and yours, sits on the dock somewhere and sits, and sits. It's ridiculous. They delayed tonite because of severe weather after already waiting 7 days, from Denver. REALLY? I work in shipping and logistics, the weather had better be hurricane style if you ain't gonna deliver. Ridiculous & Incompetent. Final answer.

Driver Kelli went way beyond expectations. 2 90# boxes (and I bet she only weighs 100# herself). Volunteeredto maneuver them into garage . So appreciated. What thoughtful customer service

HORRIBLE. Package shows "out for delivery" having arrived in Butte at 5:00AM, and NO SHOW from the delivery truck. This is the 4th (at least) time this has happened. After the truck left, I checked the app, put in the tracking number, and the delivery status was shown as "pending." I hate this service and lately they have not been able to get their act together to deliver a package when promised. I was even emailed and told my delivery date had changed to Friday instead of Monday. I was really happy about that but again, these people cannot get it together, so now I have no idea when my package will arrive. Absolutely HORRIBLE service.

Ordered something that contained personal information and it said it was delivered and I never got it. I checked everywhere and finally the next day my neighbor brought it to me which was lucky because in my neighborhood I don’t have the best neighbors. UPS really needs to watch what they are doing. They are also very rude when talking to any of them on the phone. I have never had any problems with UPS until now and I am very disappointed. If I could rate them with no stars I would. Absolutely awful anymore.

I showed up to pick up a package outside the stated customer service hours posted on the building. Despite this, they were more than accommodating and got my package quickly. I also LOVE my driver, Kendra, who communicates with me to coordinate best delivery times. On the whole, they run a good operation that feels like a local caring organization. Thanks to everyone for the great customer service!

Explain how a driver looses GPS signal and randomly picks a house to drop off a package? We live up in the mountains and UPS normally does not drive that far up which is why we have our packages delivered to a local drop off point. We wasted gas and time to go to the Butte office to find out where our package was. Turns out UPS can ping where the package was left, turns out it was left at wrong address because the drivers "GPS" went out. But rest assured they will let the driver know. Why in heaven's name when you loose signal and just pick a house? Why would you not call the office or keep the package and say attempted delivery, contact our office,? Or better yet take it to the local drop off point. One star only because the lady at the counter in Butte was polite and agreed the UPS 800 customer service number sucked.

This is the WORST company ever and their customer service is garbage! If I could leave 0 stars I absolutely would. I have never left a review for anything ever before. We have not had a single package through them be delivered on time, even when they say its "out for delivery". It will sit in their warehouse for 1-2 WEEKS without us being updated or contacted, then we are expected to drive to the next town, over 40 minutes away, to pick it up ourselves, when they have trucks coming to our town every day. It is literally their job to deliver packages, but they are unwilling to do that. WE WILL NEVER GIVE THIS COMPANY BUSINESS EVER AGAIN

I went to get my package that has been held at the store, no big deal. Upon arriving to the store I saw a lady with MY package. Her and I walked into the store to see if we can get the right packages. Jeff was very unprofessional as he said “well I got a nice package right here for you ladies”’ as he proceeded to WINK at us. I was dumbfounded. Never coming back!

I’m very disappointed with both experiences I’ve had with UPS in Butte in 2020. In the first instance, I received “out for delivery “ notices followed, at the end of the day, with a message reading “ emergency situation or extreme weather “ has prevented delivery for over a week. And UPS never called me to explain their decision to not deliver! I finally called the company I purchased items from and they contacted UPS to find out that my package was sitting at the service center. I wonder how long my package would have sat there before they got around to calling me.Last week I purchased an item that was shipped with UPS. The same situation ensued with “out for delivery “ notices” followed by “emergency situation...” notices late in the day. This time I contacted the shop that shipped my package sooner. They were able to get UPS to deliver my package the following day. There should be no need for the retailer to follow up with the shipping service to ensure delivery of their merchandise.I have lived at my current address for over 20 years and have generally found UPS to be a reliable service. Something has changed at the Butte center. My experiences this year have been very poor. They don’t deliver packages promptly, they make excuses for non-delivery and don’t contact their customers to explain their lack of delivery. Very unprofessional service by the Butte service center and it will affect my online shopping as I will choose retailers that ship with the USPS or FedEx just to avoid the hassle associated with getting UPS to deliver my package.

For the past 2 years UPS has had the worse customer service. The driver refuses to deliver to my house, stating emergency weather situation even when there is absolutely no snow and the road is clear. Impossible to get my packages delivered. I was told to pick up in Butte. If I wanted to pick up in Butte I wouldn't have shipped to my house! My delivery driver is the worse!

Rescheduled delivery while was on vaca. They had my package over a week and did not deliver on Day scheduled or the next day... then tells me I have to pick it up after 2 more days after 5pm. I paid $9.99 to have this rescheduled on a Friday after they had it 10 days!!! I want a refund

Ordered a Christmas present. Looked at the tracking number to find out the delivery person tried delivering this to another home that isn’t even CLOSE to my address listed on the box and now the present is being sent back to the shipper. Looking at the reviews this is common for butte ups.

The worst delivery I have seen. FED-X and the USPS can make delivers to my house but UPS EMC's every day when the Drive is plowed and clear. We do everything we can not to use them.

Pretty sure all the 5 star reviews for this place are incentivized or requested reviews as this place is pretty bad, probably one of the worst UPS centers in the country. We travel all over the country and were staying at an RV park in Butte for a couple weeks and needed a package delivered urgently, so we paid extra to have it sent “1-day delivery” with UPS. They attempted to deliver it the first day but, for some reason, tried to find our exact RV spot instead of just leaving it at the office/front desk like EVERY OTHER SHIPPING SERVICE DOES when delivering to RV parks. Let me ask: when making a UPS delivery to a Holiday Inn or Best Western do you try to find the recipients actual room #? Or do you just leave it at the front desk? You leave it at the front desk, of course! How exactly Butte UPS doesn’t know it’s the same for RV parks I don’t know. By the way I’m not talking about a trailer park with permanent residents, I’m talking about an RV park where the majority of residents are short-term stays from 1 night to a few nights (like a hotel). Then of course there is no way to reach them directly by phone. Their phone number listed on google is just the general UPS 1-800 # which sends you through an aggravating loop of voice recordings designed to make it as difficult as possible to reach a live human being. And they will refuse to give you their direct phone number, no matter whether you ask in person or a driver because they don’t want to deal with any inquiries (in other words, deliver good customer service). We finally got the package a few days later because we had to physically come to the shipping center (there was not even a 2nd delivery attempt). And when we went there the guy at the front desk didn’t even know where our package was and said it was probably on the truck out for delivery. Only after we insisted it was there and that he should look harder did he actually find it. It was apparently “lost” because it was buried underneath a bunch of other packages. Geez get it together Butte UPS! I should have just had it sent standard mail, I would have saved the money and gotten it faster. By the way the shipping center’s hours on google shows as closed during the day and opens at 5pm. This is obviously not accurate and likely just another way of avoiding customers and giving bad service. So pathetic.

Received my overnighted fish 2 days late while it sat in Butte all day yesterday (Wednesday). Overnight air-shipped from Washington State on Monday. Just delivered today (Thursday) at noon. Fish completely thawed out, not here for last night's party it was intended for, and now no way to be refunded the $241.00 it took to get it here. It said guaranteed by 5pm Tuesday!This is the second time it just "sat" in Butte for a day while it was an air-overnighted package. Completely ridiculous.

Your delivery drivers have strict instructions on where to leave things I order so it do es snt get seen, or possibly stolen. Instead, where do I find my deliveries? On the front porch... now I dont know if theres a temp running hall deliveries or what, but this needs fixed. Now.

Impossible situationOur driver has messed up 3 packages in 3 days. The only way I can get my stuff is to chase her down somewhere around town. It is IMPOSSIBLE to make a complaint as the ups phone system will not let you through to do it.

I just found out yesterday MAY 4TH 2020 that our ups driver is refusing to deliver to our house because my husband stopped him , to tell him to SLOW DOWN PULLING INTO OUR HOUSE!!!!! On wednesday april 29th 2020 , and then delivered another package april 30th, and as of may 4th 2020 we can no longer get deliveries , CAN NOT GET A HOLD OF ANY UPS OFFICE WITHOUT A TRACKING NUMBER , I JUST WANT TO GET PROBLEM RESOVLED !!!! so where do I go now?????????????

I have had nothing but the run around with these guys. I've told them time and time again to not leave packages in my yard with my dog. I want the packages left on my front porch. I've called customer service and they keep telling me they will call back within am hour, yet have yet to receive a call.

I can't see how you pay for next day and still don't receive the package 6 days later. 1 delay for Montana snow ok. but 5 in a row is not a unforseen circumstances. That is just a excuse people use in customer service instead of I will do when it suits you.

One of the Delivery drivers in Butte, Montana Is horrible. Very rude to my mother who is older. Chewed her out for having a barking Chihuahua and refused to drop the package up a few steps. He also left a few packages outside of the yard because of this. I'll be calling him in for sure.

worst delivery record i have ever seen , if tracking says friday you may as well count on the following monday (if your lucky)tracking says out for delivery and it doesn't get delivered
