Went in to get a two day out of state license and Chris was very helpful and personable. Told him what still waters I was planning on fishing and he gave me some suggestions and said to contact him if I needed any help during my stay. The wind was horrible and I wasn’t able to fish where I had planned. I called Chris and he gave me some options that wouldn’t be effected to much by the wind. Had a great second day, with lots of success, he really saved my trip!

I went into the shop 2 weeks before Christmas to look at fly reels for my son. Found the one I thought would work best for him and decided to come back a week later to buy it. As it turns out, they were out of the one I wanted. Chris said he’d order me one from Idaho and it would be here by Christmas. He was right, it showed up when he said it would be. My son was extremely happy to have the Lamson reel. After talking to my son about going in there, he said “dad every time I go in there with my friends the guys working are super cool”. That is nice to hear as some store owners kind of look the other way when kids walk in. Nice comfortable store, knowledgeable staff and great prices. I highly recommend. Thanks Chris and mike!!

My sister and I had purchased a 1/2 day guided trip for our dad. Unfortunately, my dad got sick and he decided he was not able to go on the morning of the trip. So on the morning of the scheduled trip, I went to the shop and they let me take his place. I got my fishing license then off I went with Forrest. Forrest was a wonderful guide and I am sure he was not expecting to have to teach a woman to fish that day. I had so much fun! Forrest was so patient and a great teacher. My sister lives in Butte and she said everyone at the shop she dealt with to schedule the trip was so nice and helpful. It was a great experience!
