This is the 🐿️ (ferret) I bought my Best friend for Christmas from here her name is Edda she is an absolute love dhe wants all the attention as long as you don't pick her up lol she chases us around she's an absolute joy the staff at Petco are fabulous Julie also a ferret lover was very helpful and continues to answer any and all questions the manager he seems a little grumpy but really he's a big teddy bear and very helpful so in my book this is definitely a 5+ ⭐ place ty Petco and staff

Three years ago I gone and bought fish from here they all got the ick and died everything was new. I cleaned the tank and everything bought more fish from here same thing happened. Three years down the road I decided to give them another chance bought everything again and got more fish three weeks later here I am they have the ick and are dead! Lots of money spent here and not happy! Will NOT be buying from here again! Order your fish off line!.

The layout is congested and you can’t get a cart around the store to pickup a heavy bag of dog food. Once you do you can’t avoid running over the customers waiting behind you to checkout. This store is in desperate need of a larger space. Too much inventory too little space.

Groomers did a decent job, but they upcharged me $8 for special shampoo (probably cost them $.50) which was not requested, and they have special "supplies" fees @ $5 per dog, which I've never run into at any previous Petco. So plan to pay 25% more than the price quoted. Next time I just will not tip the groomers.

the lady who got our fish for us was really rough with them. she smacked the bag off the side of the tank while the fish were in it and said nothing. shook the bag putting the second bag around it roughly.

I needed flea medicine and one variety didn’t have a price on the shelf. I brought both boxes to the checkout and asked what the prices were. Tom was unwilling to find prices for the flea medicine. When he rang up a box it was at full price. When I asked about entering my phone number for rewards he said I was “already in the system”. I abandoned this purchase and looked at the prices on the locked display. I then asked another associate to help me. The second associate used my reward # and I purchased the medicine at a reasonable price.People in the service industry should at least try to satisfy customers.

The store was not well organized. Looked like a tornado hit it. Hard to find cat supplies, they were in different sections. Cashier was not friendly.The store just looked junky compared to last time I was in there.The pricing was higher than both Safeway and Chewy.

I really dread going here whenever I have to go. We got fish last time I went, just a couple Gold fish for my daughter. Im well educated on fish and have a very educated family member I talk to before I buy anything fish wise. This time I went in the lady helping us was asking questions and I guess didn't like one of our answers. She said "well your fish aren't going to live for very long" and "but I have to sell them to you" very rude and very unprofessional....So if she sees this, both of the goldfish are ALIVE and THRIVING and has been since I bought them months ago. If you take care of them how you are supposed to they'll be fine.

Every time I come in the cashiers remind me of pals rewards I could be eligible for. Also love the kitty-litter bucket refill option to reduce the plastic I use. The employees are so kind and helpful. One of the most friendly pet stores I've ever been to. That's why I keep returning.

Out hometown Butte Petco has an excellent selection of fish, birds, reptiles and all of the toys, food and grooming items you would want. Excellent customer service and knowledgeable staff too! My son and I have never had a poor experience.

Clean store. Employees were amazing. Answered my questions with great knowledge. Very friendly and most of all HONEST! I went in to buy fish and sadly all the fish I looked at were sick with ick. Instead of the employees just selling them they informed me and I am so glad they did so my fish at home wouldn't get sick. I was able to adopt some molly (fish)! I got 7 fish for $3!!! They have a ton of different products and for okay prices. Most of all I was very impressed with the cleanliness!!! Even though they had sick fish I did not see one dead one flowing in any of the tanks!! Isles were all so well organized and clean!

Got a freshwater tank here and shattered it the same day by accident- the store was nice enough to exchange it with the same tank type. They're also very helpful with guiding customers with fish- the employees are well versed in which types are good together and which aren't. Thanks Petco
