This place just keeps getting worse. Several aisles today completely blocked with pallets. Had to leave with only getting half of what I needed. Everything else was in aisles that were completely blocked. And all I see is associates standing around on their phones or talking to each other. Do better Walmart.

This store is clean and nice, lots of attention to detail with displays. Feels like a high-end departure store instead of your typical Walmart store. So clean and organized. Wide aisles and everything was easy to find. Plenty of registers so no lines. Truly the best walmart we've ever been to. Plus the cutest gift shop up front.

We do not live in Bozeman but we landed at the airport and stopped at this Walmart to pick up supplies before entering the Yellowstone park. The Walmart is very well organized. Everything was exactly placed as per Walmart protocol and I had no difficulty in navigating or locating my items. In my hometown also it is organized in the same way. The staff was very helpful and they helped me to locate camping specific things like bear spray / bug spray. I was quite amused looking at the bear spray section. The produce section was full of fresh fruits and vegetables. The bakery section also had an array of goodies. This Walmart also sells alcohol.

Had a e-gift card on my phone for $25. God associate help to apply it to a purchase and the machine said it took it but it did not reduce the Total charge and zeroed out the balance on the gift card anyway. That's basically stealing $25. Their solution? Cancel that transaction and waste your time scanning all the products again. That was too much so I walked out. This place is totally incompetent.They would get a zero if that was an option

Worst! No register open all self checkout and stop us to check our receipt? We'll maybe put a cashier so you will stop worrying that your product is being stolen!She wanted me to tell my husband to come back to the door eventhough she have my receipt! It was embarrassing! Definitely be calling regarding this matter!

I’ve been to Walmarts from California to Florida and this one is the worst. It’s hit and miss with employees who either gladly help you with something to some who looks at you like you have inconvenienced them. One of the managers who’s an older lady is lousy. Ive had to move out of her way before as she will walk right in front of you like customers don’t exist. Have to watch for expired food to incorrect labeling on prices. Not to mention as I was leaving from self checkout one evening I was profiled from a lady employeed there who only half paid attention that I had made 2 separate transactions and she only came by while I was finishing my second then sent the manager to chase me down yelling for the door greeter to stop me. I laughed it off as I showed her both receipts, but at the same time that was quite embarrassing. Never in my life has anything like that happened before, and that lousy manager didn’t even have the audacity to apologize for their mistake.

The only reason to go here is if you absolutely can't wait for an Amazon shipment of something not available somewhere else. employees are everywhere, but chronically unavailable and gross (hacking loogies, openly coughing etc, but it's wallmart so we all expect that already) Went to grab a couple of simple items, kept them in hand, in the open, no employees anywhere near the checkout; yes was hassled at the door about my receipt anyways. Nothing I can't get anywhere else or wait online for anymore. Ending up in Wallmart is always a mistake.

I don't think we should pay full price and have to do the job for the Walmart cashier's. I only give one star but in all honesty they don't even deserve that. Do better! I counted 23 people standing around talking at the Bozeman Walmart and they get paid $20.00 an hour according to the signage.

Stopped in for one item that took 3 minutes to find, and cost $1.50, in the hardware area. Went to check out and found 14 assisted checkout aisles without anyone working them and 24 'self checkout' aisles that had 60-80 people standing in queue on each side of the building. 'Nick' was the poor soul that was manning the swarming 'self checkout' and was doing his best to be patient, but was clearly frazzled by all of the registers he had to man and by all of the ill tempered patrons that were about to lose it because they had been standing in line for almost an hour by the time they were able to check out.Somehow the 5 minute trip to grab something quickly became 45 minutes--40 of which were in line. Completely unacceptable.The images posted show the empty assisted checkout aisles as well as the overflowing self checkout area. You can also see that trash and random items were everywhere at each register.Some of these people drive a long way to come here, many longer than ours and our trip was 50 minutes from door to door.Really disappointed with this experience and how sales associates are being utilized here.Also, numerous aisles were completely packed with boxes, to the point that you couldn't even find the paint section. This was at 4pm, the height of Sunday shopping. Dangerous and not conducive to selling anything in those aisles.Two stars instead of one because Nick was busting his rear and wasn't going postal like most would have been. It doesn't matter what you're paying him, give that bloke a raise. He deserves it. Also, we likely won't return without a very good reason. Based on this experience, this administrator would be be firing whoever dropped the ball here. Happy to discuss with corporate.

Shopping was good, picture department excellent they had my photos I ordered it ready in no time!! The lady at the front door checking digital receipts kept telling me I can't touch your phone over and over. I finally said very nicely ma'am I do not want you to touch my phone. I am trying to show you my receipt. Then she yelled at me as if I were hard of hearing that she can't touch my phone. Ugh

The only complaint I have about this Walmart, is that they are phasing out the cashiers. There was only 1 cashier last time I went. Not everybody likes going through the self checkout, Walmart. Other than that, this is a pretty typical Walmart. It's very busy most of the time, but products are easy to find and the store is clean. Employees are professional and helpful.

Used the photo center for the first time and my last. I have never seen such a dysfunctional department. The quality of work that the printer put out was horrible. I returned the prints. The service was lousy. Would never recommend this to anyone. Don't want to loose my friends.

Whatever you do, DO NOT STOP AT THE WALMART IN BOSEMAN.I don't even know where to begin. My recent visit to the Bozeman Walmart was nothing short of a nightmare. From the moment I set foot inside, I could sense something was terribly wrong. I don't know how I managed to escape, but I ran out of there as fast as my legs could carry me. I haven't been able to sleep since that night, haunted by the memory of those unearthly beings lurking in the aisles of the Bozeman Walmart.Consider yourself warned – unless you have a death wish, stay far away from this place

Store is clean and well-stocked, but customer service is so poor that I’d give it zero stars if I could. I waited an easy 20 minutes pressing the call button at electronics on a non-busy night during normal hours. Absolutely zero regard for my time or care for their customers.

Nice store. Friendly staff. They had a good selection of produce and meat as well as a well stocked pharmacy with several brands of cough and cold medication for which I was very thankful. The store appeared to be clean. There was ample parking even though it was very busy when I was there.I had a little trouble locating the bottled water but a very friendly staff member showed me where it was located.I was able to find what I needed and get through checkout in a timely manner. I only visited the grocery, luggage, and pharmacy departments so I cannot comment on the other areas of the store. The luggage section had an adequate selection and I was able to find something I could use.I would recommend this store and I would go back if I am ever in the area again.

They have signs of not overnight parking everywhere. Not sure if this is new, cause a lot of reviews here said yes to over. By the end of the evening y was gonna move to another parking lot but I ended up staying the night anyways. I was not the only one. Lots of big and small RVers stayed also

Good place to find cheap items if you are not really looking for brand names. If you hunt and take the time to stroll through the clearance alleys you can find good deals at low prices. You can also find good quality items at the grocery department or at the hot meals section. Good place for bargain hunters.

did a pickup order for some toiletries and household items, including soft ice packs. my order was shopped correctly. when i got home and went to unpack, the cardboard packaging the ice packs were in was damp and softer than it should have been. the inside of the cardboard was SO moldy - the type of moldy where it stays on your fingers after you touch it. there was also mold on the ice packs as well. packaging & ice packs went right in the trash outside. i’m tempted to throw the entire order away since i don’t know what might be contaminated. absolutely wonderful experience with staff and ive never had a problem at this store before - just a major QC issue. i’m fortunate to not be an at-risk individual.

There are huge selections for a store in this area. You can see how Bozeman is growing. This store compares with ones that you find on the east coast. Huge store and great varieties and selections. This, of course, makes for long lines at the registers, yet they had more cashiers working to check out your purchases instead of doing it yourself. This is unlike most Walmarts. Since the store is newer, it was a lot cleaner than the stores on the east or west coasts.

Nice HUGE place. Seemed to be well organized & customers were friendly when I needed to ask them something. However, there are staff that enjoy their job & do it very well & then there are those who go through the motions. I asked one of those who "goes through the motions" for an item. Looked it up on his phone device, then pointed me in the wrong direction. But it was at least in the direction of summertime who was kind enough to walk me back, to which I came to help me find what I needed. Someone who enjoys their job.

One of the best Walmart’s I’ve been to! Staff is extremely helpful and selection is great. Aisles are clean. It’s very close to the Comfort Inn, which is convenient for travellers staying in Bozeman to visit Yellowstone. Impressed!
