Definitely a marketing move. No Halloween decorations out anymore! It’s not even Halloween yet and the corporate want to fast forward!! Plus no Thanksgiving Day holiday decorations! And don’t even start with me on being offended! I’m native and I still enjoy decorate my house for ALL holiday!!

TJ Maxx is just not the same !! Prices have more than doubled on most things. The clothing line has changed from the good brands they had to off brands, sizes are different and big shrinkage. Shelves are spread thin of items. Even the broken, missing pieces and damaged items are not much different in price than the regular items !! 🤯 I still stop every now and then, sometimes one can find a good deal if you look deep !!

I really love shopping at this store, however there is a huge push at the register to sign up for a store credit card. I get that it’s probably corporate policy to push the card, but my last experience left me feeling icky. The associate at the register pushed it 6 times. I was firm each time, and she got almost heated when I would correct the info she was telling me. She told me it would improve my credit, and she got rude when I explained that it actually wouldn’t as it would reduce my credit history and any credit card is considered a hard pull which will drop my score. This is so misleading to anyone who doesn’t know about credit, and just rude on the store’s part. I don’t mind being asked once about the card, but I expect the associate to respect my answer and not ask again.

Edit 10/2019: I had a horrible experience here while making a return on a quiet afternoon. I was returning several small electronics, all of which did not work out of the box. There was a question about one of them, and a senior staff member was called over to answer to answer a question for my cashier. She denied that particular return, and when I asked the senior staff member why, she refused to answer me directly, answering the cashier instead.Pre 10/2019: Great store, great prices. It often feels overcrowded with merchandise, but that is part of the fun. Check your purchases - merchandise is often damaged from rough handling. The staff is friendly and helpful, which is the best part. A great place to spend time.

I like this store. It has cute purses that are amazing brands like Gucci, Kate Spade, etc. For alot cheaper than other places or online. It also has toys for kids, clothes for men, women, and children. And other little things like phone cases, phone chargers, air pod cases etc.

I am always in here shopping. Normally my experience is great! The employees are always helpful and kind. Recently, I had an interaction with the manager who had to be the most rude, condescending, and honestly, B***** person I have encountered at the store... So surprising that her employees are great! I would NEVER set an example like she did in front of her employees. Goodness!

I just moved a few months ago, I finally went to TJ maxx. Love it. The prices are absolutely incredible. I got 2 beautiful blouses, an avocado cutter, a zester, special cream for calluses, food clips. A whole bunch of stuff. It seems like everything was three four or five dollars. Really, I'm going to go there from now on. I'm actually going to apply for a job! They even had organizers for the refrigerator, plastic bins so that you can pull things in and out instead of digging through everything. I love the place. Staff were very helpful too.

Clean, well-stocked store with a large variety of good for sale. The employees are friendly and helpful. The prices at TJ Maxx continue to be excellent. This is one of the better discount department stores we've been to lately...this one in Bozeman is particularly nice.

I don't shop here very often as they have little plus size clothing; some of the prices really aren't a bargain for the average person living in this pricey town. Sometimes the store looks very messy due too much product on the floor at one time, also possibly due to staff not cleaning/straightening the shelves. I've heard rumors that it's not a great place to work due to management; my only experience with 1 member of the management team left me with the impression that they either don't listen well or they were not the 'brightest bulb in the box.'

Clearly nobody's inform the staff that masks do nothing for you oh, I'm sure it's a corporate issue. Don't like shopping at a place that's got a staff with diminished immune systems! Cashier was friendly and efficient. Not a place that I will frequent until they stop promoting their political agenda.

Lately, the store has really stepped up their neatness game with shelves being organized, and end caps being pleasantly arranged. My only complaint is the floor mess near pets and rugs. I realize there was a fixture there before, but I feel it brings down the overall feel of the store when it looks unpresentable.

I had a great experience I like the way they have spaced things in the store and it isn't so cluttered as well as it is safe. They have taken many steps to protect their employees and their customers which I appreciate. I have given them 5 stars because it was a clean environment and I felt safe.

In Montana, the most common dress size for women is 12-14-16. My clothing size is 12. And what can I find here? Nothing! It's terrible why 2 stores in NY and Bozeman have such a terrible difference? Why are people in New York better than people in Montana? I don't like buying things online, but I can't buy anything at a local store!

They do have a lot of good stuff and good brands to like Calvin Klein …. You just have to be patient choosing though I bought a dress that use to be $123.00 and from $40.00 it became $30.00!

Found my Christmas gift at reasonable prices. All their Christmas decor was out. Can't believe I was doing my Christmas shopping before thanksgiving. This is new for me I usually wait till Christmas eve and get anything. Plus I have money set aside for Christmas. TJ Maxx had a great assortment of items and was wished happy holiday by the cashier.
