The grooming department has twice been super rude and Kenzie was especially rude. It seems they got new groomers and after 11 years of going to Persmart for grooming, I will not be back.

Went in there looking for stuff for my large pleco and Carla was absolutely so helpful and found me two perfect items !! She was such a nice person and went above and beyond to help me find what I needed. Thank you Carla !!

Used their buy online, pickup in store service. It was a smooth transaction but because they're either understaffed or not paying attention I felt like I might as well have gone through the checkouts because I ended up waiting a long time before the person responsible for pickups slowly came over to very slowly help me . It didn't seem like she liked her job much and that being at work was a huge inconvenience to her life

I've been researching buying a beta for months and just got mine today after cycling my tank for several weeks! Melissa was so insanely helpful and I trusted anything she suggested I do while cycling it. I have gone here every week and she tested my water for free, remembered me, and helped me make it safe for my fish! She is clearly so knowledgeable and helped so much in troubleshooting my unbalanced tank. Additionally the petsmart betas, in comparison to the petco betas were far, far better cared for and healthier. She also gave me much better information than petco. Additionally Hazel was amazing as well, and was sweet enough to help me look for the exact fish I wanted and brought out some from the back! She helped me get my shrimp and snails and food and gave great advice on them. Overall a phenomenal experience as a first time pet owner. I cannot say enough good things about them.

Vs. Petco...far more organized. Better product selection and prices are acceptable. There's a cashier who is the happiest person alive and actually cares about your non-human kid. Nice small town tinsel.

I brought my pet in for a bath and a few items to add to his wardrobe. His name is " Yum Yum." All the staff went running out the emergency exit yelling run for your life. Yum Yum is very friendly and gives kisses to anyone he sees. His tongue is around 3' long. You never had a great kiss until you get kissed by my Yum Yum. One would think the staff had never seen a Komodo dragon before. He can be a bit of a problem when he is hungry however I fed him a bison carcus before we left. I guess he was still hungry. We were walking down an isle where a lady was standing with her French poodle. That is the one thing I was hoping we wouldn't come across.. You see, Yum Yum's all-time favorite snack is French poodles. He gulped little Fe-Fe down when the lady wasn't looking. I figured it was best to get out of that place. All I could hear was this lady yelling, " Fe-Fe, come to mommy". In closing, I must say that this store is very well stocked however, they did not have one item for my Yum Yum.

I absolutely love this store! It has a good variety of animal products, and plenty of fish. They used to have kittens up for adoption, but i havent seen one in a very long time. Their live animal supply (other than fish) is a little lacking, but the rest of the store is regularly fully stocked. The employees are always very helpful and friendly as well. Strongly recommend for animal care products and fish.

We have been shopping at this location for over 6 years. The staff is always friendly and informative, the management team is knowledgeable and very helpful. They always have a great selection of products, and what they don't have, they will help you find. Always a great deal to find and a couple cute furry friends to say "hello" to, as well.

Employee answers the phone "Hello" with no Petsmart greeting. Makes you wonder if you have a wrong number. When I asked about a specific brand, I was informed that he could tell me if they CARRIED the brand only. He could not tell me if they only sold Red Barn Chewy Treats or if they sold ANY Red Barn Dog Food.Very rude just like the rest of the town.

The gentleman who checked me out was very professional and friendly. A real human being that cared about his job first and the customer. Other employees also played with my dog and asked before if they can pet them. All 3 employees who interacted with my dogs with professionals clearly with animals and my shy reserved puppy opened up to all 3. Very good professional vibes in there. Couldn't get any fish while we were here because they were all still quarantined. And they always have a lot of dead fish snails and frogs. We stopped buying aquarium friends from here but they do have some decent decor and filters.

PetSmart is a great one-stop shop for general pet supply. The staff were friendly and asked if I needed help when wandering. The store was well stocked and easy to navigate, and had a wide variety of products for a wide variety of small animals. In Bozeman, I definitely prefer driving up to PetSmart instead of Petco, as it’s a way more pleasant trip.

Had an awful interaction with a Banfield employee today. She was very rude and unsympathetic in every way. I came in to get food for my dog, who has stomach issues, we use prescription food, prescribed by our normal, local vet. I didn't know that the script expired (he's on it for the rest of his life, so I didn't realize it had an expiration date). She told me I needed to renew the script. Totally understand that. However, its after hours and the vet is closed. I am out of food for my pet. I asked her if she would just please wave it and let me buy food tonight, I would call the vet in the morning. She rolled her eyes at me and told me no, flatly.I explained, hey I'm out of food, its just food that is for his sensitive stomach, its not like a shot or something radical, please just let me buy the food, otherwise I am out.She was so rude and it was so weird and off putting the way she didn't seem to be trying to help me at all or give me any other solutions.I am not trying to skirt any rules. I just wanted to buy some food. Full price. I haven't interacted with someone that blatantly out of touch with emotion or civility in awhile. I hope she has a better day tomorrow and can learn customer service, or empathy or both. I will not be back and will buy my prescription food some other way.

Mummified, dead anole front and center in their display adoption case, so that should show you how they care for living creatures at this establishment. Not even doing regular enough tank checks to remove mummified bodies so their customers don't see them- I can only imagine what goes on in the back room.

Even though my fiance and I showed up 20 minutes until closing time, both employees we saw were friendly and helpful. I asked one for a tape measure(we were there for an aquarium top) they walked all the way to the front to try and find one. I also work in a busy customer service job, so I know the feeling when people walk in close to closing, but there wasnt a hint of that in these two. We chatted pleasantly at checkout, and as always our visit was pleasant, quick and easy. One of the two employees is frequently there when we shop for our critters, and is never anything short of kind and helpful and patient.
