Called to get my new pup in for a groom and they got me in the same day!The groomers were kind, courteous, friendly, and very helpful when they suggested a certain hair length for my pup. He came out smelling and looking like a brand new dog, and it was clear that he'd been taken care of quite well.Will definitely be coming back again!

Kim did a beyond fantastic job on grooming, my Bindi girl, she was a mess from all of her adventures but Kim assured she came home, smelling so sweet and looking so beautiful! Kim was communicative, very kind, and super patient! Both Bindi and I left happy☺️

Usually have a great experience with customer service but this time a taller older lady with short curly hair rang me up. Asked how much my crickets were going to cost and she rudely said “I don’t know”. Don’t know why you would have a customer service job if you can’t be polite to customers who are curious on how much they are paying for there products. Made me feel dumb for asking. All other staff is great and very helpful.

Staff are always incredibly sweet and helpful! The groomers were put of this world amazing! My Keeshond had a crazy amount of fluff buildup on his bum and they did a great job taking care of it! It was his first time to the groomers and he's 4, they did amazing working with him and being sweet with him. He came back so soft!!!! Will definitely be using oetco for grooming again before we leave!

I love going to Petco for my 2-year-old Airedale's grooming. I am not a fan of the traditional Airedale cut. Mack and other associates listen carefully and provide the sweetest cut for my handsome boy. The price is right, the cut is adorable, and the service is excellent! I'll never go anywhere else.

After my experience today at this PetCo I will not ever come back again. My little girl and I came in for a pick up order and for her to get a little 30 cent goldfish as a companion for our 3 year old goldfish. My little girl is pointing at a fish and this very rude young man working in the fish area from my left came over and immediately parented her rudely telling my 4 year old to stop tapping on the glass. She was by no means tapping on it and knows not to because it stresses a fish out. Seems my girl triggered him, because he continued this chip on his shoulder, abruptly asking me if I need something. I asked for a goldfish, he asked the tank size; I told him and almost with no pause in between immediately responds with no. The rudest experience ever towards me and my daughter. Like we were an inconvenience to him. Very passive aggressive towards us. I felt extremely unwelcomed and blown away by this experience. No public relation skills whatsoever. Telling me “no, sorry ma’am, but your tank is too small” would’ve been just fine by me, but the tone and immediate impatience with us did it for me. I will take my business to PetSmart from here on out.

PetCo has rebranded and we love it!! The selection, employees, cleanliness of the store is amazing. Highly recommended. The aquatic department is so knowledgeable we ended up with two new tanks with live plants and love everything about them! Thank you!! Keep up the great work!

I have had pets all my life. I went to petco to explore a bit. I currently have a dog, large aquarium, and a recently adopted snake. I had a lot of questions about my snake and also about mice breeding for him. The employees were SO helpful and kind through my process. They had helpful hints and tricks for everything and anything I asked about. If one person wasn’t sure on something, they’re quickly find someone else who could pitch in! It was so helpful and an overall enjoyable experience. I now have three mice, more fish, and my boyfriend just adopted his first bearded dragon from them! We have gone MULTIPLE times a week at this point 😂 we love the staff and their knowledge!! And of course, the pets ;)

Matilda and staff were so great when I called to make an appointment. She made sure to answer my questions and helped me feel comfortable bringing in a senior boy, Gus. Gus was recently adopted and this was his second nail trim. Matilda was amazing with Gus and has experience with her own senior doggo. She made sure no other dogs were in the nail trimming room at the same time to help Gus stay calm. She lifted him safely and with ease - he is a big boy! She was super reassuring to him and quick when she trimmed his nails! I highly recommend her. Thank you!

Definitely appear to be short staffed at the moment but the manager, I believe is named Dan, is clearly making the experience the best in can be. Almost everytime I have gone in he was the only one working the register and the aisles. He helped me pick out aquarium and cat supplies, all while racing back to the register to help others check out. He definitely deserves a raise

Placed a pick up order online today (they’re supposed to be ready in an hour). I showed up a little after the time frame but the order wasn’t ready just yet. I offered to grab everything myself but Mason, the cashier, went out of his way to run around collect everything while I browsed. It was a really nice gesture and most sales associates wouldn’t bother if they didn’t have to. Really nice and helpful.

Please please please stop taking out the hamsters without a bowl/box or something to put them in. I have seen 2 teddy bear hamsters fall about 8 feet because they got out of the Petco employees hands. Then I was back in a month later and she almost dropped a baby hamster. Come on!!!! Be careful!!!!!

The Bozeman Petco location is always a mess, with product to be shelved sitting in the aisles on carts, blocking access to shelves and walkways. I only shop here because it is conveniently located and sometimes carries products I can't find elsewhere. I try to avoid it otherwise. During my most recent visit, I stood at the register for almost 10 minutes before an employee came to check me out.

I’m an older gal with a 9 month old Boxer. I take my dog to Pet Co when I buy his food. The staff at the Bozeman store always carry and load my 30 lb bag for me. It’s a lot to handle the dog and the food. I’m grateful for the helpful staff. Kathryn

Never going back. It was a filthy disaster. The floor hadn't been swept, let alone mopped, in a long time and the shelves were disgusting. The aisles were blocked by large pallets of merch and one whole section of the store was cutoff because of it. No organization at all and I know there's always an odor to any pet store, but this was off the charts ridiculous stink.

I had a terrible experience with this store. Over the past month, I purchased 4 parakeets from this store, 2 on 08/12 and 2 on 08/26. 3 out of the 4 died within a week after the purchase. This is extremely frustrating.I tried my best to take good care of the parakeets. I changed their food (parakeet seeds from petco) daily and their drinking water (filtered tap water) twice a day. I also used bird cage swipes (also got from petco) to clean their habitat regularly. There is no other pet to stress the parakeets in my home. I even scheduled a vet appointment on 09/07 to check up their health conditions (unfortunately 09/07 is too late). But none of my efforts enabled the parakeets to survive more than a week. I thought I could have those parakeets with me for the next 15 years or so, but they couldn't even accompany me for only 7 days.The situation is just too sad and it makes me serious doubt if Petco is taking good care of their parakeets (and other animals) before selling them. I suspect there is some underlying diseases spreading among their birds, causing their death in such a short time.I am not going to buy anything anymore from petco unless they can provide me with an explanation and a proof the animals they sell are in good health condition.

DO NOT BRING YOUR DOG HERE! My dad brought his dog in for a bath and brush. There was slight matting on his legs and underbelly, so when the employee asked to clean the matting up, he agreed. Instead of cutting off the matts, they spent SIX hours completely shaving this poor dog. Didn`t leave enough hair so that his skin doesn`t get sunburned. Not even a good shave either. To be completely ignorant of how a dog like this needs his coat to keep both warm AND cool, is dangerous and detrimental to dogs wellbeing. A groomer should know better.

Today I brought my 8 year old Sheltie in to Petco grooming salon in Bozeman, MT for a bath, brushing, toenail clipping, etc. I was waited on by a kind young lady named Marilyn, who told me at the outset that because the dog's fur was so matted in places that she would have to cut out those places instead of brushing. I agreed. Marilyn called me 3 hours later to pick up the dog. When I saw the dog I was astounded at the magical transformation that had occurred - once a scraggly, unkempt mass of fur now looked like a show dog, and I couldn't even tell that she had cut out fur - so well detailed! Incredible!!! And all for $44 - what a bargain.Everone who has seen my dog since his groom today has remarked on how beautiful he looks. I have two other dogs, and when they need grooming I will take them to Petco and have Marilyn do the work because she obviously knows what to do, takes the time to do a marvelous job and the price is right.i do not ordinarily write reviews, but today's experience with Petco and Marilyn was so special that I needed to comment. I have posted a picture taken after the grooming. I am not sure they are including that in my review. Wish I had a "before" picture so you could fully appreciate the incredible difference.

Had the absolute best experience. I cannot remember the gentleman's name but he was super kind. He told us he had only started 6 weeks ago which is crazy because of his knowledge with the fish we were buying. Even though very busy he still took the time and care to help us. Jim checked us out at the counter and was very friendly offering advice and sharing stories about tanks of people he knows. I have never felt more accommodated with service and this was a petco. I was so happily impressed.

Most of the staff are super friendly and helpful. Unfortunately their fish are always under quarantine and the dates that they tell you they will be taken out of quarantine are not accurate.They are a chain pet store and the local store has no control over how the animals are cared for before they reach the store.I am confident that they all get proper care AFTER they reach the Bozeman store... However the birds often seem relatively traumatized from my experience buying them.
