I always come away with a giant smile from here. Some books I bring home are new to me, but some are favorites. The staff are super friendly. The atmosphere is incredible. Even the floor is interesting! Don't forget to look at the ceiling when you visit. The selection is so great, I find my books to buy in less than 10 minutes. The credit they give is very fair, and since the credit takes off 50% of your purchase, one more reason to love this place. Swing by if you haven't visited yet. You won't be disappointed.

Best book store in Bozeman! Nestled on a side street away from the insanity that is Main Street is a book store absolutely packed with amazing books, amongst other items.Books are always at a great price point, especially when you factor in their trade in deals. I always find a small stack of books to bring home every time I come in.All the employees are extremely helpful and friendly. Never had a bad experience here. Also lots of great community events happen here as well; which are quite fun to go to!

This place is so unique. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. There are so many books and they have everything inventoried, so if you are looking for something specific they are able to look it up. They also check their other location for you

We love used books stores and stop at them along our travels. The man working was helpful, kind and from Kansas! The book selection is very good and I even found a signed copy of a book from my favorite author. The four star rating is because the service by the woman at the front desk was awful. She was not friendly or helpful and seemed to really not like her job. Would still recommend stopping, but definitely direct your questions to people working on the aisles.

We love Isle of Books! The store arrangement makes a lot of sense, they have an awesome selection (obscure to popular reads). The shop is now located near a bus stop and conveniently close to downtown. They have an inventory list online and they don't seem to mind looking up the books for you either 😄.

Wide variety of used books with a good deal local authors and western history and fiction. Good prices Some comfortable chairs for reading and a bit of a dusty feel when a person is surrounded by books. Friendly service

I was pleasantly surprised with the unique selection of children's books, travel and culture, and antique titles.The owner has a Masters in Library Science and really cared that we had a great experience in her store.The pricing is fair and trade-ins are much better than going to a thrift store.

They've got lots of books for really cheap. Store feels a little unorganized, so sometimes it can be hard to find what you're looking for.However, be careful when using their online ordering system. If look at their inventory online, they have two different stores, but don’t really have any way to tell which store has which books on their site, or (seemingly) have a way of exchanging books between stores. Because of this, it’s best to check ahead of time before going in or making an online order.Also, the elderly woman who works the register on Wednesdays is incredibly rude. I shouldn't have to deal with someone slamming their book closed when I ask them a question or try to buy a product. That’s my only real customer service issue though.

I have been visiting bozeman for almost 3 years now at a steady rate as my son and grandson live here. I went to this used bookstore today for the first time and had an absolute wonderful afternoon! Lots to see, lots to explore!! So. Many. Books!!! I love it!!! So happy I stopped, I will be back and that is a promise. Met the owners mother and she was awesome! The shop has a sweet feel to it, and it is fun to browse. However, I think we are fortunate to have brilliantly organized book sections in thrift stores throughout the city, and so I rarely find myself craving an afternoon here.

Best used book store on bozeman, friendly staff, slightly unorganized so it might take some looking but the selection and prices are amazing. You can also sell your used books for credit and get the books you love even cheaper. I love this store and I bet you will too!

Don’t judge a book barn by it’s cover, spend some time inside and get lost amongst the shelves and shelves of used books. Lots of great classics, fantasy, and sci-fi books. Prices seemed to be 50% off original cover price.
