Julie was our tour guide and it was her first tour! She did phenomenal! Everyone was so nice and the Alpacas were adorable! So interesting to learn about the animals and get to play with them! Highly recommend if you’re in the area to stop by for a tour and purchase some of their amazing socks!

My partner and I decided to visit Alpacas of Montana for my birthday this April, and we had an amazing time! We were greeted by the most friendliest doggos when we first arrived and the staff on the farm was so welcoming and exceptionally knowledgeable about all things Llamas and Alpacas. We had a blast feeding, petting and walking some of the Llamas/Alpacas, and we got lots of pictures and a few souvenirs to take home 💟 Thank you to the staff at Alpacas of Montana for making our first ever visit to the state of Montana so memorable and fun! We are leaving for home today to our home state, but cannot wait until the next time we get to visit Montana again!!! 🙏 😄 Thank you again for a memorable visit

This tour was so fun and educational! I can’t remember our guide’s name, but she was awesome. You can tell they really care about their animals here. I learned so much about alpacas and llamas. Baby Hamlet was my favorite. 💗

We LOVED our visit to Alpacas of Montana and had the best guide ever! Grace is so knowledgeable and you can tell she loves her job and the animals on the farm! This was such a great experience! Alpacas of Montana is a lovely farm where the animals are clearly very happy and healthy and well cared for. Our tour guide Grace was warm and welcoming and did an amazing job showing us around and teaching us about everything they do on their farm and with their company. My daughter is on the spectrum and this was an amazing experience for her, super positive energy and a memorable experience. Well worth it, the tour is a great family experience and the farm dogs were a highlight. 💚

We absolutely loved our visit today ❤️ We had a blast meeting all of the alpacas, and our guides Grace and Julia were happy, knowledgeable, and chill. Our 2.5 year old had SO much fun feeding and petting the alpacas - with the walk of Shakespeare at the end being a real highlight. We loved the dogs and chickens as well. A lot of fab offerings at the store. We will certainly be back !!! A real Bozeman highlight.

I'd like to share a hidden gem we recently discovered in Bozeman, Montana. This family owned farm which is 5 mins from downtown Bozeman hosts a wonderful menagerie of Alpacas and Lamas. Yep- you read that correctly.Alpacas of Montana was established 20 years ago by Sarah and James, newlyweds, who recognized a need for rescue and love for a species of animals that were left unattended and roaming in Montana's wilderness.Together, they rescued the Alpacas, brought them to their farm, and started caring for the animals.They also realized after shearing the animals that their wool could produce the finest Alpaca wool clothing in the industry.They are now pioneers in the Alpaca Wool Industry.They have available on their farm a wonderful small boutique in which you can see, feel, and purchase socks, hats, sweaters, and leggings all made from the very Alpacas that are on their farm.Sarah and James want to include the community not only in their quest to continue to provide Bozeman and the world the finest clothing products made from Alpaca wool but education about the animal itself, their origin, and their future.The way they do that is by providing tours of their farm, in which the community can interact and hand feed the animals themselves, and provide a lot of information and history of how these amazing animals came to be and exist in Montana.Please visit Alpacas of Montana. What a fantastic tour. Learned all about the raising of alpacas and their wonderful fiber. We were even able to feed them and walk them around the field. The store has beautiful items made from alpaca fiber. So warm!

Fantastic Alpaca Tour! We did an afternoon tour of the farm with the owner, James. What was advertised as a 45 minute tour turned into 2.5 hours of awesomeness! James is extremely passionate and knowledgeable about the history of both Montana and alpacas. We were able to hand feed them, hold a 3-week old baby, and take an alpaca on a stroll. It was an incredible experience and I highly recommend!

We had an excellent tour with visiting family in early January. Very hands on and interactive. Just minutes from downtown Bozeman. Got to see so much and learn all about these sweet creatures. We live locally and plan to come back for new events being scheduled this summer. Plus, we all LOVE our soft, warm socks, mittens and wool for knitting. Will definitely order more from the web site or stop back again. ❤️

The tour is a great value. I recommend it even if you dont purchase anything at the store.The products are pricey, but claim to be long lasting. Lots of cute stuff. Make sure you ask questions abput product life expectancy, care instructions, and uses. If you're buying a unique item like these, make sure you know what youre getting into so you have correct expectations.

Soooo fun! Got to feed the llamas and alpacas, learn a ton of cool facts, pet some dogs, and take baby alapacs for a walk. Had a great time. Sarah was super nice and knowlegable. And we got to check out the shop afterward with zero pressure to buy. Loved it!

James gave us the grand tour! He held nothing back and I learned so much! I appreciate his love of the land and his love for nature. Because he doesn’t harm anything, we got to see golden eagles and bald eagles hunt. This is a must see excursion!!! Do not miss! (from FL)

Came during the Thanksgiving holiday week and scheduled a tour for three people. The owner gave us an outstanding educational guide. We took countless photos with the alpacas and llamas. The guard dogs- Chili, Fennington, and Hazel were such a delightful accompaniment to the entire tour. I purchased two pairs of socks after the tour. Great products!

The products and service support of Alpacas of Montana are exceptional! We ordered the cap/mitten/scarf combination for a relative for Christmas and they are marvelous. The craftsmanship is excellent and they are so warm and comfortable, and fit perfectly. The Team helped us expedite the shipment so that is arrived on time for the holiday. We had the BEST experience during our farm tour at Alpacas of Montana. Annie, our tour guide, is so loving towards every animal and so so passionate about what she does. It was really wonderful to spend the morning with her and all the wonderful animals. Our 5 year olds loved it too! So many animals who are all so calm tempered and people friendly (especially Jill the cat). I cannot put into words how much I recommend touring this farm. An alpaca experience does not get better than this.

So glad I found this place on my most recent trip to Yellowstone! We had a tour with Grace, and she was awesome. The owner, James, was also there to walk us through his products, and you can tell just how passionate he is about his farm, business, and the animals.We got to feed the alpacas/llamas, hold a 3 month old baby alpaca, and even got to walk a couple of them around the farm! One of the most fun and educational experiences! I'd love to come back and visit again

We had an amazing visit today !! We learned about the alpacas and llamas and the wonderful lives they have here at the Alpacas of Montana farm! Grace was an amazing and educational guide but it’s obvious she loves her job and those animals ! She knows their personalities , quirks, likes and dislikes !! This was an amazing experience! Our 4 ur old son loved the farm tour!It was a private 1hr tour with just us and our guide, Annie. She was exceptional!We got to feed the alpacas, llamas and chickens. She made sure to capture tons of photos, was very informative, and we even got a souvenir upon exit! 10 out of 10 would recommend! We loved the entire experience!
