Mike who works in the animal department at the Westend store is absolutely incredible when it comes to customer service! When you ask him a question, he takes time to listen and then finds you an answer! He even went out of his way to find, and then bring back with him, the hard to find dog food I needed when he went out to the Hardin store! Most of the time when you ask about an item you’ll hear “sorry we’re out” but not with Mike! Mike goes out of his way to help you, and as a customer I really appreciate him!… and so do my dogs!

I went in to find a Christmas present that I had seen about a month ago. I showed Taylor the picture I had and he didn't stop looking until we found the item. He even helped me hide the gift in a box. To have employees that go above and beyond seems like such a rare thing anymore. We were also helped in the men's clothing section by Bailey. Everywhere we turned someone was there wanting to assist us. Love this store and the service.

I did some last minute Christmas shopping and I didn't find what I needed. As I was leaving the store, I saw a good friend and we started talking. She was waiting for her daughter to check out. This elderly approaches me, and asked me if I was looking for something. I answered yes, but I couldn't find what I was looking for. Then, he asked what it was I was needing. I told him and he just walked away. Come to find out, thIs person did the same thing to my friend that I was talking to. I thought WTH! My guess is this male thought I was shoplifting. I didn't have a jacket on. SMH.

Has a large variety of everything your looking for the that store & something's you didn't expect to see. They have a fabulous selection of toys for those future ranchers, farmers, hunters, & etc. Tool section is lots of fun for the tool person in your life.

Not sure how a couple of the staff are still employed with the attitude they have. Slow service and the website inventory doesn't match in store. Luckily there are plenty of other farm supply stores in Billings.

You have to love a place that hears you sneeze and a mile away you hear an employee yell out "God bless you!!"Besides, they have bags and bags of the little marshmallows that you get in lucky charms. Just the mellow, no Smelly cereal to sit through 😉We looked at guns, bought a fishing license, grabbed a pair of jeans, and some spring household stuff for outdoors.All around great service.Thank you for a relaxing shopping trip!

Well if it wasn't for the helpfulness of the employees that seen to not want to go out of there way to help someone this place might be alright. Well, that is if you are just running in to grab something quick and get out. If your like me however, that likes to walk around and see what items I might like to get, then I do not recommend this place at all.sonetimes I don't k ow exactly what I want so I want to shop around. If you do, they seem to follow you to make sure your not stealing I suppose. Or if you go in with someone and get separated, then they still are not helpful.the kid that filled me around until he finally walked into my path and asked if he could help me find something. Being funny Isaid sure can you tell me where my sister is. Of course it was a private joke and he didn't get it but I did ask him where I would find the barn door hardware. You would think he might have had some idea but there was nothing. I describe what a sliding barn door looked like, he still didn't have any idea. Finally I said never mi d I'll find it myself. J don't recommend this Shiptons at all. Higher some Ole boys that have alot better customer service please.

Was very impressed with the way your Employees handled the selection of Chicks, etc. this morning. I was in line for two hours, however, it was worth it and the Orderly, Proficient, Fair and Safe from potential exposure to the Pullets, etc. was well handled. Well Done and Greatly Appreciated. I have been to this store on several occasions to buy Triple Crown horse feed and it’s always expired. I contacted TC rep and she tried her best to improve this problem and asked to have fresh feed on hand. When I went into this store yesterday the young lady who helped me was very rude. I would just like to walk into your store and be treated with some decent customer service and purchase feed without issues.

I will not return to the gun department in this store. I've purchased multiple weapons from other locations without issue.Sadly the veteran of 14 years in this location isn't trying to assist customers with their form, rather he plays a mysterious game of, find the error.And once you make the error, after filling out the entire form, he then more than happily points out the fine print you missed.Why not skip this embarrassment for the customer and just be more clear about the specific question and specific detail quoted in parentheses that might otherwise not seem important to a customer who hasn't dealt with those forms for 14 years.

Needed propane for my RV. Attendant said this store was not certified (or himself) to fill a mobil unit, only bottles. This was a big dissapointment because this store had the best price for miles. But no gas for me.

Their selection of boots is great. If you need Western boots, work boots or mud boots this is the place to go. They have them all in one location. If your needing some supplies for the farm or ranch they got that too.Revisement: Sorry thought i did give 5 star. Fixed it.

Employees here are not very helpful what so ever. No one asked if we needed any assistance. After walking around a few minutes looking for FR clothes for women I had to ask a group of workers who were chatting away, where the FR clothes were. Their website shows they have FR clothes for women but clearly they don't. Only reason they got 2 stars was because the front registers employees were very polite.
