I was in town visiting and I stopped by to kill time. They have everything you need for outdoor and indoor activity. As soon I enter, there a huge fish tank to observe. There a ferris wheel in the middle. The 2nd floor they have archery, golf simulator and rollerball. They have guns and rifles to look. I did purchase a few items before leaving. I enjoyed my time

Awesome place to visit!!! If you go to Billings, Montana, you should go here. It's a fun environment. It has a fudge/candy store, cool t-shirts and sports items, ferris wheel, and an arch-way aquarium!!

I went to Scheels today with my husband and a group of friends and we didn't have alot of extra time to shop. I needed new tennis shoes and the little gal working in the woman's shoe department was the most knowledgeable and attentive customer service person who has ever helped me. I told her I wanted the most comfortable womans walking shoe. She came out with 3 choices in the size I needed, had me try on one of each and told me what was the best quality in that particular shoe. I picked the ones that felt the best and she immediately came back with the size I needed and color I wanted. The whole process took about 10 minutes. (For someone who doesn't like to shop, is short on time and can have an impatient husband this is a Big Deal!) She was wonderful! Wish I would have caught her name but give that girl a raise!!

Scheels is as good a retail experience as I have seen in my 50 years in the business. The store standards are Grand Opening day every day. Nothing is out of place. The store associates are happy and eager to please the customer. You can spend the whole day there and not see it all. Have I extolled their virtues enough? Go see for yourself.

WENT FOR THE EXPERIENCE, CAME HOME WITH A NEW FRIEND.We had never been but have heard good things. We decided to see what all the fuss was about. This place was awesome and they sell everything! Literally everything. The tropical fish aquarium was beautiful. Ferris wheel in the middle of the store... Wow. Mini bowling, okay I see you. Small food court, yeah nice. This place was so much fun just to walk around... Came home with a new friend to add to our garden gnome family. Definitely going again.

The people here are usually very helpful and nice. However their card reader wouldn't accept my card. I told them it was their card reader. I tried to explain but the gal there names eron didn't even respond to what I was saying instead she took the item and put it in a cabinet behind the customer service desk. She just stared at me with a dirty look as if I couldn't afford what I was trying to buy. This made me feel uncomfortable and almost embarrassed. It seems she told another lady because they just stood there and glared at me. My son used his card. After leaving I was able to use my card ever anywhere else we went the entire day turns out it was their card reader. Not really feeling like going back after this experience this lady should not work in customer service of all places although she didn't say anything rude it was the way she acted towards us I feel that I'm owed and apology by the store if I'm being honest as we do quite a bit of shopping with them. Hopefully the store brings this to her attention!

Scheels is a must-stop for all things outdoor and sports related. This store literally has everything you could ever want. The staff is friendly, and the store is super clean. Even if you are not looking for anything specific, it is fun just to walk around. Plus, if you have kids, the Ferris Wheel is a fun attraction.

This store is amazing. Ferris wheel, bowling alley, pond out back...oh, and they sell stuff too. It's huge. Had another outstanding experience this holiday weekend. Picked out an ice house, got it down to the car and the employees were loading it and it was too big. Patrick in fishing was a huge help and was really dedicated to finding me the right one for my needs. I eventually settled on one of the Scheels-exclusive models and he made sure that I was happy before I left (I live more than 2 hours away). Excellent service from both Patrick and his supervisors. Thanks!

I am a Fargo, ND traveler and I love visiting places and finding Scheels. This was my first visit to this location and it just makes you feel like you are right at home!I stopped by to pick up something right before they closed and then went close by to have dinner. Driving back to the hotel I stopped and snapped some photos.As a mom, this store is the place to be with kids- the statues bring kids joy, the inside fun and absolutely amazing staff makes your experience very memorable and usually becomes the highlight of our trips for the kids!If you have never been to a Scheels, I encourage you to stop by and give it a shot- I bet you just found your new favorite place to shop at! 🎉

Crazy cool. Fish tank you walk under, a ferris wheel in the middle of the store, a cafe shop, fudge shop, candy shop, and a play place. Not to mention awesome items to browse for shopping!

If you are looking for professional help and service, come here. Called in looking for a specific article of clothing for my mother, talked to Staci, she said they did have options. I told her I was coming to the store in minutes, she told me where to go and to ask for her. I walked in exactly where she said to go, asked for her and she was standing there waiting for me with several options for what I was looking. She was courteous and explained each option fully, I have rarely been subject to such customer service. When I asked about another item she politely showed me what was available and when it didn't work out, she was professional enough to give a recommendation of where I might find what I was looking for, I absolutely appreciate the thought and effort! I will be returning to this business in the future. Thank you very much in making this happen!

Definitely a must see in Billings. HUGE store you could spend hours in. Super fun attractions for the kids like a Ferris wheel, bowling, and arcade games. The cafe has awesome coffee too! The biggest reason for the review is the awesome staff. Everyone was so nice and helpful, we specifically worked with Karen in the home decor section and she was awesome! She helped us get an ottoman to our car; super nice because they give you the tag to purchase, then they do the work of packaging it up and bringing it to their receiving area on the outside of the building where they load it up into your car. 5 star service, 5 star store!!

If you voted anything less than 5/5 for this store, you're probably from out of state or everyone hates you and you suck. Lol. I have shopped at Scheel's ever since they were a much smaller store in the mall, and even back then, service was fantastic and the prices are always fair. Obviously, high-end brands are pricy, but they're high-end because they're made correctly for the use which you need them for. When Scheels moved to their big store, a friend of mine said he was helping to construct a "giant aquarium you can walk under" in the front of the store, and I thought, "Uhh... we're in Montana. How do tropical fish even fit in here? It's not tropical." But then I saw the damn thing and thought, "Okay, somehow they made it work and that is frickin awesome" lol. My kids have loved watching the fish grow throughout the years, and it's always fun to walk in and see new generation toddlers exploring the fish. It brings back a lot of good memories. The ammo selection is fantastic and amazingly priced! I love that I can find whatever I'm looking for here; whether it's for self-defense or range shooting. The gun selection is PRIMO!! Love it!! I always shop here for NFL gear, gifts for family and friends, camping, hunting, shooting, fishing, skiing, golfing, or even our work outdoors...everything a Montanan could possibly hope for. And good Lord it's satisfying to see the out of staters' mortified little snowflake faces when they see me and others walk around with our pistols on our hips. I carry my pistol everywhere, including to Mass on Sundays, and I love that guns are welcomed here. As crazy takes over the country, it's nice to know that we can still defend ourselves and others in Scheels, because I have learned from experience, you never know when someone will pull a gun on you for no reason. They allow dogs in the store, which is nice. I don't bring my dog in, but it's still really awesome. And I'm sure that also makes some snowflake out of staters mad since everyone is allergic to everything these days lol. Anyway, the employees here are so fricken awesome. I wish to God I could remember her name, but I was in the men's section and wanted to buy my husband a Ridge wallet, and this adorable young lady who appeared to be of Asian descent (her name started with an M, I believe??) helped us and explained so much about the wallets. I was shocked that a sales associate knew so much about these wallets, features, etc. I ended up buying one which was fairly priced around $130 with a Vikings logo on it. As much as I was embarrassed to purchase something with the Vikings logo on it (go Colts!) lol, my husband LOVES it and we wouldn't have found it without her help. I'm sure management reading this knows who she is. We adored her!! The employees are ALWAYS nice here, and so is the management staff. I mean, this store is just fricken awesome. Awesome, awesome, awesome. You can't dream up a better store. Never change, you guys! You're perfect!

Beautiful store! The employees are very polite, professional and helpful. Vast verity of merchandise! From hunting and fishing to biking, hiking and climbing. As well as items for all the mainstream sports like golf, baseball, fighting, basketball, football etc. Clothes, shoes, sportswear. Gun care, maintenance and parts. Nearly endless line of rifles, pistols and shotguns to choose from... The list goes on and on! Their prices are fair, not low but not outrageous either. I will shop here often!Pro tip, if want to go upstairs but have a cart with you, take the elevator by the Shoes dept. Don't try to get your cart up the escalator... lol

I went in for some decent gloves and came out with a whole new camping kit. It was exactly what I needed for my trip and the sales rep didn't try to push the more expensive stuff on me. They really listened about what I wanted to do and offered sound and logical advice to give me one of the most comfortable camping experiences I've ever had.

I love Scheels. It's quite expensive, but the employees are very good at what they do. I appreciate that management goes to great lengths to place people in departments where they can best put their own areas of interest or expertise to good use. They make customers feel welcome and important. That's rare these days.
