Hard to buy anything with 5 of the aisles closed. Understand they have to be closed when moving products with a forklift but there was nothing happening in 4 of these. I needed something from 3 of these aisles. Asked for help. Was told the aisles were closed.

*Edit* I hung up after 30 minutes of never even talking to someone. It was a simple question about when Memorial Day Sales started. I WAS a loyal customer. I think I'm trying Home Depot from now on.Apparently no one either works at Lowes anymore or they don't know how to answer their phones. My clock is going on 15 minutes of going back and forth between ringing and a holding tune. Or maybe they just don't believe in answering the phone anymore.

I had one of the worst customer service today at the Billings Lowes. I was looking at buying a $700 tool chest that I was very interested in. But the drawers were locked. I asked, if they would unlock them so I can look inside the drawers.The guy says "why do you want to look inside? no-one knows where the keys are". "They are all the same" and started waving his arms like there no reason to look inside. In stead of arguing with him and stating the obvious if im going to spend $700 I would like to look inside first. I turned and left as he was saying all kind of things, like there is no reason to look inside and other things I couldn't make out. Went to ACE. Purchased the same thing for $25 less. Wish I got his name but he works in Tools in Billings.

Went in there this morning to exchange broken touch built tool attachment. I couldn't find my receipt at the moment. But even if I did not it's under warranty. And don't need one. The older female associates were very unprofessional and very rude. Lowe's had the policy right in front of there station. It clearly states that if the customer is not happy with the product, if it's broken they will exchange it. I spend hundreds of not thousands of dollars in that store alone. I don't need to be haggled with from the associate. Do better Lowe's.

Tried to buy a wheelbarrow that is in stock. Got the run around as to where to pay for it. Waited 15 minutes for someone to unlock it.Got my money back & purchased at Home Depot.Much better service!

Just had new blinds installed from Lowe’s. The whole process was easy and affordable. Cynthia went through our options and was very helpful in making selections. Mike, the installer, also did a great job - he communicated well and was efficient getting our blinds installed. A great experience all the way through!

Went in to this store previously and made some minor purchases. However, yesterday I was extremely disappointed. Not one single person helped me or even asked if I needed anything. The sales staff that I did see were standing around having personal conversations. And when I went to make an online purchase of some yard items, it said that home delivery would be an extra $69! Needless to say, I did not make this purchase, and ended up going to Home Depot instead. I live a few blocks away from both stores and to be charged $69 for delivery seemed ridiculous to me. So Home Depot got my money-not only for the product, but for the customer service I received there.

Today we were shopping for flooring for my forever home which is off grid at 8500 ft. Steven was so helpful and knowledgeable. He took the time to explain all different flooring products and applications to us. He knew the answers to our questions and provided us with all the information we didn't know we needed. He went above and beyond and helped every one else who had questions while he was helping us. What a great experience today! Your store is truly blessed to have Mr. Nolan working here.

Purchased a large appliance order in store. After a mess at the register, realized they charged me hundreds more in store versus what their online store showed (with the Billings Store chosen as well). After receiving some terrible customer service from one of the local store "specialists" named Tyler, was told he didn't have time to help me over the phone and insisted nothing could be done unless I drove back to the store and spent another hour working with them there. Last time we purchase appliances from Lowes.

Chase, in the appliance section, was the most helpful person I’ve ever spoken to at a hardware store. He was no pushy at all, answered all my questions, and was very friendly. Store was tidy and well organized.

Great service.. had what we needed but messy in the back area.. a little organization back there would made easier for the workers to use lift when getting customers items... Having just purchased a home, we headed into Lowe's this afternoon looking for a kitchen sink and a toilet. Michael ( great guy with curly hair) was right there to help. He answered every question we had and researched things on the spot to help us decide. Michael went way above and beyond for us and we seriously appreciate his professional demeanor, his sense of humor, and his patience. Great employee and a great guy.

Crazy amount of refrigerators! We have been on the lookout for one for about a month and until we actually went and looked at them, it was really hard to picture the sizes. We’re not done shopping yet, but we will buy one from Lowe’s. We are just deciding on what we really need.

I'd leave 0 stars if that was possible. Every trip here has been a frustrating waste of time. The store is laid out seemingly at random, so it's hard to find what you're looking for. Consistently, when I do find the right aisle, the shelves aren't stocked. And my last three trips I've had to wait ten, twenty, thirty minutes for someone to come help me. Whenever I find someone to ask, they want to find someone else to help me instead of just answer the question. Today after trying twice to find someone to help (overhead pages went unanswered) I left and went to Home Depot. I found full shelves and tons of helpful people. Probably my last trip to Lowes.

Ordered a washer and dryer for my new home with a set delivery date 3 weeks before the set delivery date. Wanted all morning just to find out my products weren’t in and no delivery would be made. No phone call or anything. Hope the delivery goes well and they communicate better.

I called Lowes because I can't go into the store as I have a low immune system due to cancer. The gentleman in the appliance department was so knowledgeable and helpful that I was so greatful,because I had just got off the phone with listening to Home Depot ringing phone for 10 mins and no one would answer. I will now always go to Lowes because Customer Service is high in my book when shopping. Thank you Lowes. We will be in soonThank you for all the time and knowledge you spendt with me. Much appreciatedI would like to make an additional comment..I decided to take the risk with a mask on and today went into Lowes.We spoke to Shawn Aschim, take that name down as he is so knowledgeable and CS oriented that I will be returning to this store again. He was so very helpful and friendly that I was throughly impressed. Thank you for helping us in our large purchase. It's hard to spend that kind of money and not get that facts. After 3 months of waiting for my new refrigerator, including two cancelled scheduled deliveries, Lowe's has now informed me that they no longer deliver to my home in Wyoming.Response to the owner - You had every opportunity to resolve my problems during the times I called trying to find out where my refrigerator was, and when it was going to be delivered. I promise you that I will not call your 800 number again just to remain on hold for an hour before being told 'too bad, there's nothing we can do'.

I don't have a LOWE'S in the town I live in but we have a Home Depot and it's good. That being said - They are comparable so it's a person preference. Those stores are clean and well stocked. The staff is friendly and personable. On this occasion I needed a tool to replace a water shut off valve and LOWE'S had one and the store was close to my son's house. Long story short - We finished the project with the help of that tool. It made the job so easy. So I am happy.

If time is important, don't waist your money on same day delivery. You will not get the updates that you sign up for. If I had known my order was delayed until the next day I would have gone and picked it up myself. But after going and checking the order status multiple times during the afternoon, it did not say delayed until after 7pm when the delivery cut off is 8pm. There was not any email or txt update that the $600+ order was delayed .
