I visited this place twice when my garage door broke a screw and the men in here were so helpful in assisting me even when I didn't quite know what I needed until I found it. Great service and products and it is easy to find what you need.

Stopped in today with my grandmother to find some wire cutters that she would be able to use to cut artificial flower stems, due to her hand strength not being that strong we were on a mission to find ones that she would be able to squeeze and cut with. Brian the associate that helped us was awesome and understanding and helped us find ones that worked for her. He also directed us to the hinges so that I could fix one of her cabinet doors, as well as assisted us in getting a piece of plexiglass cut. Thank you for being extremely helpful my grandmother was really happy and appreciative and most likely will be making your store our go-to for any hardware and project needs! Thank you again!

I love my little hardware store. But I'm going to be coming to it less and less as time goes on. These results have nothing to do with the store itself. But with the unbelievable prices that things are selling for I can no longer afford on a fixed income budget. I will no longer be feeding the birds and rabbits in my neighborhood ð I will not be getting anymore pets as the price of food has again gone up 8$$$ per package. I won't even be buying my favorite licorice which ACE sells because I have to cut off the spending somewhere!ð€Sorry I'm just ranting here when I should be ranting to those in the federal government who have caused all the chaos ð€§

I just return a defective product I purchased last fall and I had grabbed the wrong receipt. The lady at the counter was extremely helpful and took care of me even without the correct receipt. Did not have the same product but she assisted me in upgrading and I got a better product. Sorry I did not get her name but she made sure I felt valued as a customer. Best part was after returning the defective product and selling me the upgrade it only cost me 1 dollar. This is why I go to Ace for these type of needs and not the big box stores. Always helpful and friendly. Hats off to the crew at Ace Hardware Billings especially Central Ave.

Went to return something I got from another Ace. The lady seemed upset I was returning it. She was very cold and told me to go to the other Ace cause they donât have it in stock. I was polite and said thatâs okay if I have to go to the other one and she said that would be good if I could and didnât say anything kind or polite back. Kinda not very friendly.

The employees at this location need something to do or some time off. The labor cost here has got to be outrageous!!! This is the second time I've walked out because I feel like somebody's following me around the store because I just want to look around and find what I want to find without being bothered. If I say I don't need help, let me be, don't follow me like I can't see you.

Online the website says they have vacuum belts, more than one brand of style 7 belts available for in store pickup, so I walked down to Kings Ace only to be told in a condescending way that they don't carry vacuum cleaner belts and after showing her my Google search she pretended to look something up in her computer and told me none of the ones the website (with the Central Ave Kings set as my store) that I could pick up today were in fact not in stock... I usually have a good experience at this store, but it was enough to make me not want to shop there anymore. Walked over a mile for nothing, thanks Ace.

Always a superb service to any other hardware store out there. If you walk in that store and walk out without the item that you're not able to find it's because you didn't ask. And what I like about this stories if you ask someone where something is, if they don't know they say I don't know and find someone who does. It's amazing service.

What a great store. If you need help Ben is wonderful! Attention to detail, kind, patient, knowledge about everything I need, which was all over the store. Great at explaining things. Made sure it worked.They are VERY lucky to have such a great Employee. The little red headed cashier was very good also. I have been in Customer Service for 40 some years and this was by far the BEST service from Ben that I have had in a long time.

I bought a new snow blower online in Seattle last December. I moved to Red Lodge, MT in May. The blower was still in unassembled in boxes. The mover that I used lost a good number of the parts. I took the parts to this Ace and a gentleman (TC) in the engine repair department took over, ordered the parts, put it together and in a pretty rapid fashion.We've had a good dump of snow a couple of times. The blower started like a champ the first time, every time.Thanks, TC and Ace.

Found what I needed, but had to go back for some longer screws to hold up the globe on the ceiling fan. The employee I asked for help was knowledgeable and quickly knew where to find them after checking the threads and diameter. Very good experience.

Worst show of professionalism I have ever seen. Went to Zimmerman to get a spark plug and filter for a Stihl Blower. Zimmerman provided the spark plug, but said I had to go to Central to get the air filter. Drove over to Central and went to the small engine counter to get a filter. Man at counter said they were closed and to come back tomorrow. I asked if he could simply grab me a filter, he said no. I asked if I could speak with a manager as Zimmerman just sent me over. He said the manager would tell me the same thing. He radioed the manager and said that I was demanding to speak with a manager. I asked, not demanded. I was standing 6 feet from the counter when the manager came up and asked where the customer was, he said I was right here. The manager, some older gentleman, yelled that he did not have time for this and was with a customer and stormed off as I watched him walk away. This was a complete and utter joke. I am a faithful Ace Hardware customer and go multiple times per week and have never seen such a poor display of customer service. I was calm and cool and never once raised my voice or was disrespectful. The crew at Central, at least these two gentleman (use that word very lightly), were the most unprofessional jerks I have ever witnessed. I will never step foot in that store again. I suggest someone do something to correct this.

These employees were really nice really understanding and they knew their stuff. and on top of that they had the exact totes that I have been looking for forever for storage for the back of my vehicle and they were more than patient and they explained why when we leave those is there and they were even able to refer me to somebody who could possibly help me I love these people already and I'm sad because I'm going home to North Carolina and I can't take these people in the store with me cuz our store back home days hardware the employers are rude and miserable and they they don't listen to you when you need something they try to sell you something you totally do not need

If they don't have it, you don't need it. King's Ace has the best people in the hardware business. I have no reason to shop a box store, Ace is always close by and has everything I need.

This store is amazing. I had 3 employees offer and try to help me during the few minutes I was in store. I don't think I've ever had such a good experience anywhere. Love this store.
